Golden Dog Hotel Centreville, Virginia

I didn’t even get a chance to have my puppy stay here. When I reserved online they immediately emailed saying they don’t accept pitbulls!! My dog is the most sweetest dog ever and she gets along with every dog! I get that they don’t want an aggressive dog but not all pitbulls are aggressive, that’s on the owners! If they’re afraid of aggressive dogs, they should have us bring the dog in so they can evaluate themselves before just denying us right away! I never had an issue boarding my dog anywhere else! I do not recommend Golden Dog Hotel!!

I have been bringing my dog here for almost a year. He is always very excited to get there. I receive photos of him playing when we are out of town. I know he is in good hands when I need to be away. He also gets to run around and get all his energy out so I get a tired puppy when I pick him up.

We’ve taken our Labradoodle to Golden Dog Hotel for almost a year now. She absolutely loves going! We recently had an unexpected death in our family and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Truly meant a lot! We will continue to take our dog with them!

Golden Dog Hotel has been a blessing for my fur baby and I! They are very quick to reply, a great price, and so loving to my dog. I receive pictures of my little one every time I drop him off for daycare of him running around as happy as ever! I will continue to use The Golden Dog Hotel’s services I found my place here!

The woman I talked to on the phone was incredibly rude and had absolutely no people skills. They also turned me down because one of my dogs is not spayed, even though she is not aggressive with other dogs, but continued asking me questions about them after she said they wouldn’t take my dogs. Very irritating interaction and a waste of my time.

I left my dog at GDH for a week. They took such great care of my baby Zoey! I was happy to receive pictures everyday and see how much fun she was having with other dogs. I recommend this place to everyone!

They are GREAT with dogs!

When I picked my dog up, she was fully covered with her shedded hair, that's simply saying she was sitting a cage for a long time and didn't have space to shake them off. I never seen her like that since we rescued her 4 years ago, even we barely brush her. No updates unless you ask. I got no pics for 3 nights and 4 days neither over email/text, but all what I received was an invoice.

The Golden Dog hotel has watched our 4 pups multiple times and they have always taken such great care of our babies. We get pictures of them everyday and they look like they are having a blast! I recommend them to anyone looking for boarding or doggy daycare.

I dont use crates for my Barney, so i love the Golden Dog hotel because of the fact they do not crate him at night .. That he feels like he is home! My Barney jumps out of the car and is always excited to go. And when i ask Erika how he is she always sends me pictures which is a plus. I feel like i am dropping him off with Family. I highly recommend this place .

Golden Dog Hotel has been my go to when I need my German Shepherd boarded for one might or more. The staff there is really friendly and they treat all dogs like their family. My dog is super attached to me however she has no problem when being dropped off there. Highly recommend!

I love this hotel. He loves it there, too. Plenty of daily pictures, lots of room to run and play, makes friends and the care givers are responsive. I wouldn't consider any other place. I've been taking him here for at least one year and WE LOVE IT.

Erika and her husband are great! We have been taking our two medium/large breed dogs to Golden Dog Hotel for multiple stays for a whole year now. We’ve booked from 2 nights to 1 week. Erika makes sure to send me pictures of our dogs through out their stay. Our dogs also usually have separation anxiety, but whenever we drop them off, they are always super eager and excited to meet Erika and her husband. Reservations are super easy on the website. After your first reservation, all of your info is saved making your future reservations very quick and easy. Drop off and pickup are smooth. I will definitely recommend Golden Dog Hotel to all my friends!

I really wanted to take my dog to this hotel but apparently they "don't take that breed". Interesting that you won't even meet a 6 month old boxer pit mix before you judge them. I will make sure none of my dog friends support your judgemental establishment.

We brought our 4 month old cocker spaniel 2 times here for day care and he had an amazing time there both times! He is usually a little antisocial with other people and can get a little fighsty sometimes but he behaved really well with them. They sent us videos of our puppy playing with other puppies! And was also a great socializing experience with other puppies! We 100% recommended taking your dog to this hotel!

Such nice people and my dog enjoys his time there. They will also send me pictures of him playing with the other dogs, which is nice to see while you’re away from them.

This is the best spot to board your dog in the area! The staff is extremely friendly and quick to answer my questions. They sent me pictures of my dog and I could tell she was having a great time!

Since October 2020, I have boarded my 1 year old pup, Simba on two occasions, for long stays (10+ days). I am truly satisfied with the care provided by the Husband/wife team at Golden Dog. Receiving pictures from Erika of Simba interacting with other dogs really put me at ease and Simba is always super excited to visit his home away from home!

I have used Golden Dog Hotel for my Yorker Sophie since she was 3 months old, she is now 2 years old. My Sophie is always happy to go there. They are professional and love and care for my dog all the time.I trust them, you can too. They love dogs.

We have been boarding our dogs here for almost a year now - multiple occasions. Very satisfied with the care they take. I receive multiple photos each day showing their outdoor activities... much appreciated!! Cost is fairly reasonable. It’s a bit far from our place but we still prefer GDH for boarding! They take good care of our 2x Maltese rambunctious monsters

I'm so glad we found this place! We wouldn't leave our dog anywhere dog else. My dog is pretty nervous but she feels at home here. I love that Someone is at with her most of the time. They're responsive,and communicate well and my dog is always happy in pictures!
