Tested my 3 dogs in exceptional way over many days. I highly recommend.

We have a very long history with 4 paws of Ashland. I used to take my boy Zeke a GSD and they loved him. They were heartbroken when Zeke passed away at 5 years old. So now we have Bindi, an Austrlian Shepherd and they have a blast with her. I know she is a handful but never treat her with less love. Highly recommend them.

We went on a Friday evening. The place was packed, that means, good food! Service was good. We had fried oysters and steamed shrimp, both very good.

I have only good experience with Four Paws. My dog Izzy has awful anxiety and they seem to take good care of her

never taking my puppy here ever again , she stayed here for 4 days and she came so smelly and dirty ! she was extremely dirty with dry dirt like they just left her outside , I paid 145 total for my dog not to be taken care well . it’s ridiculous!

Our EllaMae loves 4paws. She goes right in, has the best time, plays, and is worn out when she gets home! She's been to 2 locations and everyone has been helpful and accommodating!

We have been taking a little fur baby Four Paws for two years. Each day she comes home you can tell she has had a wonderful day!

I have a boxer/pitbull mix, the absolute sweetest dog you'll ever meet and they would not take her. That is ridiculous, look elsewhere to board your dogs because they clearly do not want your business or to take care of your baby!

Four Paws takes such good care of our Ivy Rose. She has a laundry list of medical conditions, and they are great getting her meds in her and showing her love. When she comes home she looks great.

I love the service and treatment they provide to my 6 year old dog when we need to board her. She used to get nervous, but now actually gets happily excited and starts "talking" to me on the ride there.

Absolutely fantastic. Been bringing our dog here for a year for daycare and lodging. Friendly team and our dog comes home exhausted every time.

I received pictures everyday of my Abby. They did a great job.

Love that my dogs get to run around and play when they're boarded instead of just being walked a few times a day. Staff does a great job with the pups!

My dogs love this place and so do I. The staff are very friendly and love dogs. I feel secure knowing that my Babies are well cared for and will be tired when they come home

Well intentioned staff, but a sub-par facility and a stressful environment for dogs.

Bottom Line, Hercules gives it 4 Paws up. He loves the way He was treated and I will continue to use . They are GREAT with German Shepherd's.

My dog was at this establishment for a week, we have had our animal there for the daycare but after her boarding she came home with red weeping eyes and a cut in between her toes. The blanket we brought for her was dirty. I wouldn’t recommend this place to even the worst pet owner. My dog is my life and I’d rather miss vacations than ever board her at four paws Hanover again.

Our pup loves doggie day care at Four Paws! He recognizes the route and gets excited in the car when we're getting close. ???? When we get him home after a visit, he is exhausted . . . obviously had a full day of play! We love that he gets playtime when we can't give him attention. Prices are reasonable, and I like the option of only paying for 1/2 day when we only need a few hours of care. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They welcome Rooney by name and he is thrilled to see them, too. I am a happy Four Paws customer! ????????

If I could give lower I would. Called multiple times before dropping off dogs for the first time to inquire about any restrictions or any behavior assessments. They said “no just stop by any day”. I advised I had a sheppard collie mix and a terrier mix. They said nothing about breed restrictions. I drop the boys off, I get a tour of the facility and leave. SEVEN hours later I am called to be told that my terrier mix looks too much like a “Pitbull” and he is not allowed to return. They tell me I lied on the paperwork because the vet has that he’s a lab mix. I told them that I had stated terrier mix on the phone before they ever even faxed that because I thought it was more accurate, also how am I supposed to control my vet. Regardless, it took them SEVEN hours to determine this. On top of which I already stated he was a terrier mix because that’s clearly what he is, I don’t care what he looks like and agree there is likely staffordshire in him along with Boston terrier and other mixes. But they discriminated based on looks alone. When I probe they THEN try to cover themselves and say “well, say he pulled on another dog’s hair”. ???? He’s a 7 mo old puppy... he’s learning and not once at the dog parks, or with his bother, have I ever seen him pull hair with aggression. They tell me they have separated him from the rest of the dogs, so now he’s spending the rest of the day alone based on his looks. Will make sure to spread the word that this place is run by children who need to grow up and recognize that Richmond has a lot of terrier mixes and a dog’s looks do NOT determine their aggression. Furthermore there is no way to contact their management, and even I asked for the management to contact me and they still have not reached out... 2 weeks later. It’s horrible customer service on top of discrimination. Gross.

Don't allow bully breeds. If I could leave no stars I would.

We regularly board our dog here. I am always pleased with the staff's enthusiasm and their evident love for the animals. The recent additions in technological support for the owners is a welcomed addition to the service.

Great place to take your dog, for a few hours or overnights. You never have to worry about weather either. They have indoor and outdoor areas for the dogs. They are also revamping their technology systems, so it will be even easier amd faster to check in and out. They group dogs according to size and temperament. They are horse like stalls for overnight. Also, they can accommodate special things you bring like meds, treats, lunches, etc. You can bring bedding, toys, blankets, etc for overnights.
