I'm very disappointed in them I took my little Yorkie sassy there they told me that she needed to have an emergency surgery that they couldn't do it that I needed to take her to an emergency hospital that wanted to charge me $6,000 and I found a vet in Hanover who did it for $700 and come find out all she really needed to be was spayed but they couldn't even do that they will never get my business ever again and I almost had my dog put down because of listening to all the horrible things they were saying was going on with her thank God for Dr billiter and Hanover animal hospital

They were very attentive to my cats needs for a semi emergency we found when we woke up. He was seen immeadeatly unlike our regular vet. We are switching over when we move soon. The kitty came out relatively quickly and more importantly happy and calm.

Always caring. Follow up is very thoughtful. Its so rare doctors call to check on you much less a pet. Makes my day when I get the call checking on the pets.

Between my older cats and the kitten I'm fostering, I've received great care from Ashland Veterinary Hospital. Communication really has set this vet apart from any other one that I've had. They ensure I understand everything, every step of the way, down to itemizing what you're charged for. They're always willing to answer all questions and meet you with kindness and respect. :) Even when I move I'll be coming here! Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about this practice. Over the years we’ve had some of the best most honest and thoughtful experiences with staff and Doctors. Just a very well run and caring establishment for our fur babies. I highly recommend them! And Doctor Gretchen is the bomb!

Always great. Called in last minute for urgent issue. They offered to fit me in between appts today. Got is in quickly. Diagnosed issue. Didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Moved to Fredericksburg 12 years ago. But still make the trip to Ashland for my fur babies because they are amazing and caring!

Always accommodating and friendly. The staff always strive to provide excellent care and I love Dr. Inge, I wouldn't want anyone else to take care of my baby!

This has been Titans vet since 2016, he actually loves going to his visits. The staff and doctors are always a joy to be around and they make the animals feel at home.

We took our guinea pigs here to trim their nails. Very cheap, fast, and friendly!

I took my bunny to Ashland Veterinary Hospital to get fixed. They were really nice to him and gave him extra treats. They also called a few days later to check up on him, he's doing great. They were really reasonably priced, and I'm gonna recommend them to my other bunny mom friends.

They're great, super nice and have good covid precautions in place. I highly recommend.

I have had a really good experience with Ashland Veterinary Hospital. Our dog has crazy allergies and they got us set up right away. Pricing is fair and they do make a point of seeing folks for more urgent stuff as quickly as possible. We feel very confident with the care our pup receives!

I recently had to put my cat down, they were so helpful and sensitive about the whole experience from being told she didn’t have long all the way to putting her to sleep. They took care of everything. I’m so thankful I was able to have such an amazing experience during such an emotional time.

I took my senior cat in to do some tests, she needed blood and urine taken. After I get home a few days later I get the call with the blood results and I ask about the urine results and they are confused and told me no urine samples were taken. I had to bring my senior cat back to this place for the staff to do what they were originally supposed to do. And wait another week to find out that she had a uti and needed a special diet for other health issues. The staff here seems to caring but not very good, especially at remembering what procedures are being done on an animal at a certain time. I only came to this place because I just moved to the area and needed a vet but I am actively looking for anywhere else to take my animals.

I am beyond disappointed with this practice. I have been a loyal customer to this practice for 4 years. I have 3 dogs and a cat and have spent thousands of dollars here. We sent our 15 year old senior dog here this week after he was not feeling well, they sent him home to us with medications in worse condition than when he walked in there. He had to be carried to the car. 15 minutes after returning home he collapsed. When I called back to tell them what had happened, they advised I take him to the emergency veterinary office. He passed away at the emergency vet a few hours later. When I called to let Ashland Veterinary know, I also asked if they would allow me to return the medications that they had sent home with him ($200). All medications are unopened. The front desk staff were very nice about processing this request and compassionate, however it was denied by the owner. I was advised to hold on to it, “in case I need it for my other dog”, who is 3x the size of the one it was prescribed for. I checked the laws to make sure returning RX meds was not something prohibited by law, it is not. It is discretionary to the practice. I will not be returning here with any of my animals, ever again.

Love this place but didnt start loving it until after I saw a few different vets. Dr. Gretchen is so patient with my German shepherd she just has the magic touch!
