Amazing staff, our pup LOVES coming here and the staff loves having her. It’s a one stop shop, vet, groomer and day care!

We took our German Shepherd to Heart and Paw while we were visiting DC for the holidays and the whole experience from start to end was excellent. Their customer service is great and they accommodated our need for a quick sitter ( with records and an interview )Daisy blast too. She came back to the hotel super tired. They even sent texts with photos of daisy to show how she was doing. It was awesome. I'll definitely be bringing her back there next time we visit.

Awesome facility and service. Took my pup for a bath and nail trim. Lynn was fantastic about contacting me for an earlier appt and texting me with updates on the grooming progress. The entire process was a breeze. Highly recommended! Already have my next appt booked.

I cannot recommend Heart + Paw Ballston Quarter enough. After we adopted our sweet puppy, we knew we wanted to get him socialized in a safe environment. Heart + Paw Ballston Quarter provides exactly that-- their daycare ("play") is staff supervised to make sure all the pups are playing nice, and they even help correct bad behavior. It's a fantastic outlet for dogs to get their energy out too! We've made it part of our weekly routine, and our little guy is so much better off for it!

I've tried calling this place 3 separate days, multiple times per day now, and never an answer.

Heart and Paw restored my faith in veterinarians. I had a super bad experience at my old vet. They’d purposely leave vaccines or treatments out of my visits so I would have to come back for a second or sometimes third visit. I was spending hundreds of dollars on vet bills just because my vet wouldn’t examine my dog properly. Heart and Paw was not only extremely flexible with scheduling me, but the doctor and assistant were so incredibly kind, understanding, and thorough. They gave me the chance to explain what I was noticing with my dog and gave me answers. They also found things wrong with my dog that my old vet (that I had seen two weeks prior) had never noticed. They also looked through my old vets records of my dog and noticed a bunch of things wrong that my vet had written. They treated my dog and followed up with me by text to next day to ask how he was doing. The visit was a bit pricey, but I went home with a ton of stuff so it didn’t seem overpriced. I’m just so happy I have a vet that I can trust again, especially now that my dog is older and will require more visits.

This place is a headache to begin with, getting an appointment is super difficult! The staff have absolutely zero customer service skills, and the veterinarian is super unprofessional. She acted as if she couldn’t stand my puppy, to preface I understand puppies are difficult, but have some level of professionalism. She constantly rolled her eyes and gave condescending remarks, as I pointed a health issue out to her. Make sure to keep track of your dogs health records cause it’s difficult to get a definitive answer as to what has occurred in this practice. Overall I’m very disappointed, mainly with the female veterinarian, and her judgmental snooty attitude.

I had my dog groomed here for the first time with Lyn. She communicated with me prior to the visit to understand the style I wanted and the condition of his coat and previous cut. I was thrilled to see him when I picked him up! He had an amazing cut and he seemed comfortable and relaxed. I'm super impressed!

We couldn’t be happier that Heart + Paw opened in our neighborhood!! Our dog, Rugby, was a little nervous at first, but thanks to the kind and patient team at daycare, he is feeling so much more confident now. Dr. Kampani and her team are equally amazing so good with nervous pups. It is incredibly convenient to have vet care, grooming, and daycare all in one space!

It was our first time here - apparently they had just opened up - so perfect timing!! The place was spotless!! Our eval was free which was an awesome surprise! My dog had so much fun and they even texted me photos of my pup while he was playing!! The staff was friendly and fantastic! We will definitely be back!
