NEVER GO HERE EVER Hi my mom had a beloved dachund called Blackie and she was young and was healthy and happy and we loved this dog to death she was my grandmother's favorite dog and my mother's she was pampered and loved sooo much and we took her here and they almost never said anything about the dog they always said would you like to get this blood work ever time we went and we said does she need this much blood work they said no but evertime we went they pulled a book out of all these tests what were soooo expensive and we said like what about my dog hello they had many kinds of assistants and veterinarians ever time but then we would get blood work and they just wanted more money then Blackie had a heartatack this was heartbreaking we had to go to bevs emergency room for animals paid 1500 dollars and the actual professional cardiovascular doctor said vca could of told you this and prevented it so they are horrible people we thought about sueing them but all we could focus on was Blackie This was also like 15 or so years ago

My dog was attacked by 3 dogs back in January, when I called I was placed on hold, I was met with rude people that answer the phone. The veterinarians are responsive and attentive. Too bad the people that make it a “business” don’t care for the animals. My dogs vaccination was 3 months out, when I called to reschedule because of a work emergency, they gave me an appointment 2 months away… I have been there for 4 years! Time for a change.

The docs and staff always Treated me and my fur baby with love care and respect. We said goodbye after almost 16 years this weekend, but I highly recommend Brown Animal Hospital and will use them In the future. Thank you for your services for my Sweet boy, Khaos ????

I found VCA Brown a few years ago after having bad experiences with a few other vets in the area. VCA Brown has been exceptional in every way. I've never doubted that they have my dog's best interest in mind, and it seems like that's all that matters to them. The doctors here are gentle, caring, and take the time to understand the situation fully and answer any questions I've had. I highly recommend this practice!

Lovely, skilled staff but 2-3x more expensive than other vets, often with hidden costs. The corporate structure of the office strikes me as primarily profit-driven, at times suggesting and administering unnecessary treatments and procedures.

These vets are competent and they love animals, but they are over priced and it's hard to get even a simple tech-only appointment.

We've been bringing our dog Deckard here since we got him in September - and most recently we brought our senior cat Kirby in when she developed some breathing difficulties. Great, great, great care all around for both of them. There techs were friendly and our most recent vet, Dr. Averill, was amazing. Love their app for reminders (and info) and they've frequently followed up with us to check in on the health of our pets. Highly recommended.

I have a cat on a weight-watch/diabetes-scare diet and need to weigh her monthly. However, last December I had been visiting family for the holidays and hadn't the chance to weigh her at my regular clinic. Heidi, the manager at VCA Brown was entirely willing to help me out of this bind. She let me use their pet scale and I was able to see that my cat had lost weight and that the diet she was on was working. This hospital allowed me to release that worry going into the holiday. This is an experience I did NOT have with BEVS emergency hospital who were not willing to take 30 seconds out of their day without charging me $70 for an exam she didnt need. Thank you VCA Brown!

the staff hers are knowledgeable, explain all the options without pushing you into any decision and are transparent about the cost upfront. sometimes they misschedule but are very accommodating overall and especially in emergencies. I can tell they genuinely care about the well being of my pet.

We were on vacation and our GS puppers needed to see a vet. They got us right in and took excellent care of our baby. Called twice to check on her and messaged us after we got home to check on her. Absolutely amazing people.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find the right vet for Harley and I’m so happy we chose VCA Brown. Absolutely wonderful team of veterinary healthcare providers! Drs. Wheel, Tal and Kenney all have taken phenomenal care of Harley and I wouldn’t take him anywhere else. The entire support staff is incredible and knowledgeable and will take all the time you need to answer any questions. At VCA Brown they make you feel like family! Thank you all for what you do and for taking awesome care of Harley!

It was an amazing experience we had brought in an un neutered male cat that was in some pain with his ears this poor kitty gad been through hell and back we loved him so this place will do a free first initial exam if your a first time clients they were just SERIOUSLY amaxing! I will be referring everyone to them

If you have money to blow, VCA Brown will gladly take it. I always left there feeling like I just got worked over by a car salesman. Any mention of a budget and they will make you feel like you shouldn't even have a pet. If you can't spend exorbitant amounts of money for the most expensive approaches and often unnecessary tests, go shopping for a vet that is grounded in reality. Horribly unprofessional: I had one of the doctors straight up roll his eyes at me when I couldn't afford a more expensive version of a procedure. That expense being anesthesia which, in hindsight, was not even remotely necessary and could have caused devastating complications. My dog needed an abscess drained, when they finally admitted they could just numb her locally we took that route and everything went well. I was beyond upset (re: crying) because I couldn't afford what they wanted me to do, and they forced me to 'haggle' with them for close to an hour to get them to provide my girl with the care she needed. I told them what I could afford, and they kept coming back over and over with estimates easily doubling my budget. I'm honestly glad I was so broke at the time of the incident, so I couldn't hand over more money to these blatant crooks. Unfortunately, they will stay in business by exploiting unsuspecting animal parents' love for their fur babies. P.S. To VCA: Your egos are astounding. Please don't leave a gaslighting response like I've seen below. Don't use this review to try and appear decent to prospective customers (re: not patients). If you must do anything, just keep one-upping the poor fools who give you 5-stars, and let this truth be. Response Edit: I feel this way because of the treatment I received at your hospital. It would be cool if you could acknowledge my experience, rather than try to deny it by saying it "doesn't reflect" your employees. You are insinuating either my experience didn't happen, or my recollection is incorrect. In every post below you manage to minimize customer's compliments by patting yourselves on the back through self-purported accolades and hyperbole. To be clear, your management very transparently thinks more highly of VCA than even the people who like you. I'm sorry that you cannot see this. I hope you can seek help and improve.

This animal hospital has always been sincerely dedicated to our pets and out needs. The doctors and vet techs are caring and professional, prompt, and speak frankly and fairly about their practices, diagnoses, and costs. Just as you stick with your MD when you find great one, we will always take our pets here for their health needs.

Super friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way for your pet. Large practice with a few different brands of food and other misc. items. Great place to bring your babies and right behind Pet Food Warehouse.

Too pushy on vaccines. Why, if they are vaccines, do pets need them throughout their life. Aren't they supposed to build immunity. And please don't make negative statements about other businesses in order to push Purina products. My animals are very allergic to grain. Please stop using scare tactics to clients to adapt to your opinions. Yes, they are only opinions.
