First visit with my 2 dogs was great, they were incredibly welcoming! I loved that the doctor and tech got right on the floor with the dogs and made them comfortable before their exams. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. They never seemed annoyed and I never felt rushed. This is especially appreciated right now when I know they are overworked and understaffed during COVID.

Stoney Brook Vet continues to be exceptional. I called in on the afternoon of December 23. My Lab had a swollen eye and I was concerned. A tech called me back and Dr O’Neil squeezed me in. She was exceptionally thorough in checking him and gave me a prescription to treat him. The techs and vets at Stoney Brook are great and they really care about your pets. Don’t be put off by the uneven service at the front desk the people who take care of animals there are great.

Love Dr. Kim Jones and the whole staff! They are always professional and extra caring of our Old English Bulldog, Clover. We are very happy with their care every time we visit and would highly recommend them.

Didn't appreciate the doctor trying to pressure me into getting the 3 yr rabies shot for my cat after I clearly explained what happened to my other cat when he got it.

Dog had itching problem. Visit there gave us the cure. She's much better one day later.

They made room to see my elderly parents new rescue cat,and followed up with test results and medication.

The appointment was for my very shy cat. She needed a little oral surgery and her teeth cleaned. The reception was very positive and professional. I went over the list of tests, anesthesia, etc and the costs. (Tests due to previous visit that showed a possible issue that this additional testing may diagnose.). I left my cat with the nurse. I received a call a few hours later with an update. I was told to pick my cat up in two hours after the anesthesia had worn off some more. When I picked her up she was wobbly and very hungry. All the staff was very positive and told me how beautiful and sweet my cat was. Turns out she wasn't so shy when under the influence. I am confident my pet was well taken care of while in the Stoney Brook Veterinary Hospital staff's care.

I have 5 crazy dogs and I would never take them anywhere but here the vets love my animals the way we do. I’ve been to other vets that would rather put the pet down then do whatever they can to save them! I don’t worry about that here!!
