Stonecliff Animal Clinic Lebanon, Vermont

My vet is out of the area. A dog of mine developed Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome, basically horrible looking blood coming out instead of stools and vomiting. My vet said, seek care locally, worried about dehydration. I contacted Stonecliff because I was nearby. They were very helpful on the phone. They said they could see my dog the next day, but I continued to worry. I called back for some further advice and they told me they had.a cancellation, so they told me they could see her that evening. The care was very good. The dog recovered quickly. However on the bill was a $100 'emergency fee', in addition to the normal veterinary exam charges and treatments and meds. Since I took a cancellation, that seems altogether wrong. I have taken dogs to the veterinarian in distress on short notice in a far worse state and never paid such a fee. I didn't see the charge until I got home, because I was more concerned about my dog. That's the kind of stuff emergency referral hospitals do, not general practices. And it stuck with me, so I felt I needed to write a review months later. The mixed review reflects good quality of care but mercenary billing practices.

Compassionate care for our sweet little buddy whose life ended suddenly and unexpectedly. While our loss was deep we were supported by all the staff at Stonecliff during and after our fur baby's decline.

Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. We drive over 45 minutes for veterinary care because I truly believe Stonecliff is the best veterinary practice in the area, whether it be for routine visits or surgery. The staff are great with my obnoxiously friendly German Shepherd and he is always happy to see them. Thank you! Love Havok ❤️

When my kitty needed to be seen urgently, they were able to squeeze him in the same day to be cared for even though he was a new patient to the clinic. Our normal vet's office couldn't even do that. In fact, out of the 5 clinics I called, they were the only clinic that offered to help my kitty. AND they provided excellent care and he's all better!

I am moving back abroad in August and am having to do paperwork for Gus the naughty miniature dachshund. :-) Dr. Kelly and Kate are amazing--caring, kind, patient and professional. Dr. Kelly's willingness to take me and Gus on as new patients (at the last minute) is so appreciated. This year with COVID has been super difficult (as it has been for everyone) along with the loss of my mom in February. I can't thank Dr. Kelly and Kate enough for their support with getting Gus ready to travel. I would give Stonecliff 10 stars if I could!

Rude in my experiences, dont seem to care for our pets rather than just want our money. Will not be going back.

I brought my new dog here. Great staff and Dr. Eastman was very kind and treated my dog absolutely perfectly!

Had the worst reason possible to go here but we were happy to recieve services for our 13 year old dog that had passed away while on a trip here. ???? very nice staff and facilities.

When our dog of 13 years passed unexpectedly, stonecliff was able to offer a private cremation and gave us his ashes in a beautiful wooden box. They also gave us a paw print and a beautiful card. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

I've been taking my fur baby's to Stone cliff since when the first opened in Bradford Vermont they are the best,and incredibly reasonably priced as well.

So far so good. Dr Kelly is terrific. Under these Covid circumstances, it seems that the clinic is running smoothly.

Taken my dog in numerous times and not impressed with the exception of one Vet. Dr Eastman. They are more expensive then other vets which is only worth it if Dr Eastman is your Dr.

Amazing first experience that keeps getting better and better! I loved that the vet was able to talk and give me options and talk pricing before anything was done. I love how she talked about what she wanted to start with first as a concern and work down the list. I felt Dr. Eastman truly listen to my concerns and helped me feel more comfortable with the sudden changes in my dog.

Was not listened to and was trying to be forced to do something we were not willing to do, we won't be going back. We went there asking for our 10year old pup laid down due to aggressive behavior and was told by the vet she wouldn't allow us to have our pup laid down, she acted like she knew what was best and we had no say.. Well I do have say and we left.

Polite, willing to work with schedule. Covid restrictions don't allow 'whomans' inside but I've been hear a few years and know the techs and vets are good people. Haven't had an animal to pass yet so can't speak to how life ending situations are, but I am confident when time comes no matter how hard. Wish they were 24/7 ;but they do everything i need.

As a new patient, I am so impressed with this clinic. My new kitten had a mysterious “thing” on her neck. I thought it might be a tick but it seemed odd to me. I called and was seen within 2 hours for the emergency appointment. Turns out it was right to bring her in. They diagnosed her with a flea larvae. Something I had never heard of! She was so well cared for and I was so glad that they knew what it was and were able to take care of it so quickly. Their curbside service is very reassuring. The vet techs come and meet with you while you remain in your vehicle and take great care of your pet. The vet calls to consult after seeing your pet and then acts on your decisions. I choose this place based on reviews and the found out my coworker who is very devoted to her pets uses this clinic as well! So glad to have the peace of mind of a local clinic that cares so much for the animals, knows their stuff, and is able to accommodate many schedules and emergency situations.

Only place i will take my animals..great owners great staff!

Totally money hungry. My dog had some mild acid reflux and I wasn’t able to make it to vet. They refused to offer me any advice because they wanted me to come in to the clinic to give money. I even offered to pay for a tele consult. Seriously!! Nothing life threatening. All they care about is money. They also harassed me and constantly were “reminding” me to get my dogs teeth cleaned for $500 which was also totally unnecessary at the time.

Dr. Eastman is wonderful and very helpful to the animals she treats. Even the spunky full of attitude ones ♡ She went above and beyond for me and my feline and I would recommend her to ANYONE ♡ your family is in great hands ♡
