I recently moved to town and needed a new vet for my 2 dogs. I was referred to Westside Animal Hospital by a co worker. I was nervous as I have never been there before. I was very pleased with the friendliness and care that my 2 babies received. Both my babies left very happy with smiles on their faces even after vaccines and blood work . I definitely would recommend them to anyone I know with animals.

Make sure you actually get what you pay for. We paid $600+ for vaccines and blood work less than 3 months ago. We are headed to FL on vacation in 2 days and as much as we hate to have to board our family dog (with a reputatable establishment) we found out today the records sent to the boarder do not match the summary of services provided to us by this establishment that we paid for and we had to get a last minute shot for our dog. Additionally, these folks are extremely disorganized and rude which had already prompted us to make a change in vets after only 1 visit. This development reinforced that decision. It's sad and scary that a business like this is allowed to provide a false sense of care for pet owners.

I had the worst customer service today on the phone with one of the employees named Kim. I didn’t even finish any of my questions and I was put on hold three times to begin with. I will never spend my money at this establishment again. I had to take other measurements to help my precious dog. they should take this off their website. it’s inaccurate.. “in the event of an emergency please call our office to ensure your pet receives prompt medical care”

The care and attention the wonderful staff give to your pets are second to none. Up front and straight to the point, I could not have had a better experience

If you can afford their care, it’s very good. But they clearly prefer to cater towards clientele that don’t have difficulty paying durning an economic depression and a global pandemic. It seems they care more about profit than animals and the system is designed to keep them in the business of either making you pay through the nose for prescription flea treatments or denying your animals care if you can’t. “Use over the counter medication like Frontline,” they say. Well guess what, Frontline used to BE the one you could only get with a prescription but now fleas have built up a resistance to it. So, now that it’s ineffective, Frontline gets to be on the shelves for everyone. Why can’t the effective medication be on the market for everyone? Because it's all a for-profit racket made possible through FDA “regulations.” Stop pretending you care about animals more than money. Just keeping it real.

Met Trisha with attitude on the phone. Then, instead of helping me decide whether or not one of my animals actually needed medical attention, they were more worried about keeping my name in their books as a recurring customer rather than someone with an animal in need. As an institution that clearly values their payout more than the work; I highly recommend going anywhere else.

Dr. Ashton Kane and the Vet Techs have been wonderful providers for two of our dogs - over a 10 year period. We've since moved from the Monadnock Region, and wish we could have taken Westside Animal Hospital with us. You'll have no regrets by having Dr. Kane and her staff care for your furry family members.

Very friendly staff. Very reliable. Nice place. Clean for an animal place. Often no appointment needed to ask questions!

My healthy, active, six month orange tabby kitten went in for a common neutering operation at Westside Animal Hospital.. While under Dr Kane's care, my kitten came in contact with chemicals after surgery, being drenched. Dr Kane did not wash him off and he was sent home near death with 30% body burns all over including inside his mouth. He is now under the care of Dr Sawyer at Stonefield Animal Hospital in Rindge, NH. Dr. Kane was negligent. This is animal abuse. Never going back!
