If you live in Central Maine and have a Pet, this is the vet for you. I have multiple dogs and have tried other clinics, this team is amazing. They are kind, professional, polite and above all, great at their job.

I had been a client of theirs for years - my family brought our dog and cat there when I was growing up, I returned to them when I moved back to Maine 10 years ago with my dog and cats, and I was hoping to have them as our vet for our new dog when we moved back last month. My dog started limping and not putting weight on his hind leg and when I called to see if they could schedule an appointment for us, they said no because I was "inactive." So I guess I would have continued using them as our vet if they'd let me, but they won't so screw 'em. My dad also tried to get our dog seen by these folks (he's still a client) but they still said no. I know that it sounds like I'm asking a lot, and maybe I am, but they didn't even give us suggestions as to where to go with our pup, just "can't come here sorry bye".

Very friendly and patient with each fur babies family member they explain exactly what’s going on with your 4 legged baby.

Have taken my animals here for years and always have been happy with them. This last time was rubbed the wrong way by one of the front desk people and vet. Everyone else was very nice!

They are so good to my cats and always explain to me whats going on with their health. You can tell they really care about it animals.

The staff was great when I arrived. And my cat had to stay the night. My ride got sick and had to have my mom leave from a different town and drive to Lewiston to pick up my cat. My mom was there before closing time in the morning. They were paid in full before closing time in the morning. However the night shift was rude to my mother and chose to charge me a $46.20 late fee, on top of the $877.02 that had just paid, and we weren't even late. However I spoke with staff later that day and the late fee was refunded. In conclusion, first shift was great. George is better. But watch billing and attitude of night shift.

The place is not helpful. I called at 3pm, said I would be late for my 3:40pm appointment. They said , that is ok, you have wiggle room. I then arrived at 4 pm. They would not take my dog. My dog had a life threatening wound that I had told the nurse about ended up going to emergency room in Lewiston. Pine tree vet cares all about $$$$ nothing about animals.

A truly wonderful animal hospital with very compassionate and professional caregivers. Hugo, our crazy frenchy, often ends up there with sporadic health issues, (but sometimes we think it's just so he can visit his friends there). Not only do the staff love him, but the doctors often follow up with a phone call a few days later to check in on him. Totally voluntary out of their compassion for our pets. We couldn't recommend anyone better for veterinary care.

There isn't a person on staff who isn't a kind-hearted, animal lover. The extent that these guys will go, to ensure that the best care is provided to your pet, is exceptional. I highly recommend Pine Tree Veterinary Hospital.

When our puppy was sick we called all around for a veterinarian office to take us in since we were new to Maine. Pine Tree Vet was not only the only place who listened to me sobbing on the phone scared but got us in right away and truly cared for our dog lovingly and supportively. I went to two vet hospitals in Maine beforehand and spent over 2 grand to get no answers. I went to Pine Tree once, and they immediately found the answer to what was going on that everyone else had missed, and was affordable! I was terrified I would not be able to find a vet in a new state that took care of us as much as our last one back home, and was disappointed in how other vet services in the area turned us away because we were new and didn’t seem to really care about animals at all. Pine Tree took us in and will be our number one vet from here on out for anything we will ever need!

This is a really good place to take your canine or feline members of your family my obi wan kenobi ( minature schnauzer) is mine and my wife's baby an they do a great job with him and are reasonably priced

We recently changed to Pine Tree Bet. They appear to be attentive and knowledgeable. May still be too early to tell but so far so good.
