Incredibly kind staff and very trustworthy people!

If I could give more than a 5-star rating I would. Dr. Vetter and her staff have taken exceptionally great care of my boy Simon (1 year old Aussie). They genuinely care about him and answer all of my questions. He recently had surgery (neuter) and I received follow up calls the next day from Dr. Vetter checking on him. THANK YOU DR. VETTER and your AWESOME STAFF!!!

Highly Recommend! They are one of the best Animal Hospitals. I have been to many different vets in the Salt Lake area as I live in Sugar House, and none of them compare to A Gentle Vet, so I am happy and willing to take the 30-minute drive for their services. A Gentle Vet takes excellent care of my pet Theo. He has become nervous of vets from past experiences with vets in the Salt Lake area, but at Gentle Vet, they calmly took care of him, making him feel much more comfortable. They care about your animal and are very reasonably priced. They even printed off helpful information on preventing ear infections for my lab, who kept getting them. ​ Thanks for being amazing A Gentle Vet!

Been taking my dogs here for the past three years. Caring, loving staff. Prices are reasonable. I never leave feeling like I was taken.

Dr. Olson and his team at A Gentle Vet are the most knowledgeable, professional and compassionate group of animal lovers I have even known. They have been there for routine checkups and anxiety prevention to the most heartbreaking emergencies. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you guys for everything you’ve done.

Update to this review... this is still the Best vet I have ever been to. This guy is great. Was able to fit my sick dog in. Gave lots of attention and care. Gave a follow up call the next day. This is the kind of service all vets should aspire to. Been going to them for 4 years now.

Doctor Vetter and Doctor Olson are both excellent vets! They really care about your pet and help you understand everything that's going on. The rest of the staff is also really kind and though curbside is available, I'd rather go in simply because of the very positive social interactions. I will be taking my pets to this vet for as long as I can. :)

This is the best places around. They take amazing care of us and our fur babies every time.

Doctors in this place don't have enough experience, they don't know what are they doing, also they are expensive and charge too much for the medication. The owner is not honest and very aggressive if you don't give him 5 stars, he calls you trying to change your mind if you will remove your review, if it's doesn't work he flags your review and put lies to defend himself no mater what. I tried a couple times to post my critical review, but he flags it and when I tried to update my review to answer to his lies Google removes my review completely. To anyone who will answer to this -- I don't care what more lies you will put here, because i KNOW, I AM SURE ON 500% I AM NOT LYING, YOU ARE!!!!

We absolutely LOVE every person in this vets office. They are kind, knowledgeable, and tender. They take their time explaining things at our level and finding answers if we need them. I feel that all opinions are given as far as care and we have never felt pushed into what decisions we should make regarding our pets care.

Amazing Vet and Techs! The veterinarian spent almost an hour with us to make sure she answered all of my questions. Such a great experience. Definitely worth the wait to get my pups into see her :) very knowledgeable!

Even though we have only been a couple of times, we decided to switch to this vet because of the great reviews and have not been disappointed. There was a time dr Olson could not see our pup who had scraped himself pretty bad from a trip in the mountains, but he was still able to help by prescribing an antibiotic cream that worked great and relieved so much stress that he wouldn’t get an infection! When we go in for our wellness examines dr Olson never seems like he is rushing us to get in and out. He always lets us ask questions and thoroughly answers them. He is great with our reactive pup and doesn’t get scared or overwhelmed when he barks! Just acts calm and welcoming until our pup feels good. The front desk ladies are very pleasant on the phone, and are also great at answering any questions! Thanks for making our vet experience as great as possible and truly caring about our fur babies! We are clients for life!

We trust A Gentle Vet to take care of our animals and they always provide the best, most empathetic care for our critters. They are prompt and follow-up on visits without fail.

Dr. Olsen is an amazing vet. I didn't realize how low my standard for a vet was before I went to him. He treats my dog thoroughly, listens to me, is very knowledgeable, and clearly so passionate about his work that he is always reading up on the latest best practice. My dog had to have a pretty difficult surgery as a puppy and I am so glad Dr. Olsen guided me through that process. I always feel like my dog is in good hands!

I've taken my dog and cat to the Gentle Vet at least three times this year and have not seen the Male vet at all. I don't know if he even works there any more. But the women that have helped me were "GREAT"

We have been going to Dr. Olsen for years for all of our pets. Recently our very old and ailing cat was having some more issues and I cannot say enough about how much care and compassion this office gave her, as well as us. We unfortunately had to put our cat down eventually but even then I received a call from their office to say how sorry they were and we also received a card signed by all of the staff. They are not only reliable, professional, and reasonably priced, they care about the pet owners like we are family. We have used this vet for both dogs and cats for anything from routine checkups and vaccines to full blown surgery's. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO THIS OFFICE.

My daughter took her new puppy to get her series of shots and her nails trimmed. Dr. Vetter & the staff took great care of Winnie. My daughter was extremely happy to find a place to bring her ‘baby’ for her future care and needs. Thank you for the love and care you shared to our new member of our family :0)

The office staff and Doctors are very helpful and courteous. My dog actually likes going to the vet now. They are also very affordable. Usually affordable and quality are not used in the same sentence, but with them it exactly how they are.

This place is the best! I had just adopted another dog who had some health issues that needed attention and they were able to fit me in for a first visit in just a few weeks even in the middle of the pandemic. Ever since then it has been grade A service. Dr Olsen is the nicest vet in the world and super knowledgable. After our first visit he spent a good 30 mins of his time explaining everything thoroughly to me even though he’s probably very busy. He also told me several times how lucky I was that my Lola was the sweetest dog. Just warmed my heart. The other day I called 10 mins before closing (sorry lol) to refill my dogs meds, and they had happily offered to do it right then even though it wasnt an emergency. Overall the staff is just so nice all the time and they really care about the pets that come in. 10/10 would recommend
