The New owners have done what I've always wanted to do. And that is to rescue birds. And find them beautiful homes. They have done an incredible job. I do miss all of my clients have a great deal. If you're even thinking about getting a bird, please do yourself and your possible forever family member a favor, and come here first. If you already have a parrot, this is the best place for supplies! They have everything you could need, and shopping here is a much more positive alternative than the major pet supply companies or places that promote breeding.

I went in to ask about the diet for a parrot I was given unexpectedly. They ended up giving me a free bag of food to help him adjust to his new diet and transition over to more veggies. They were really nice and helpful!

They know a lot but when I went the worker gave one of the green cheek conures a seizure (pretty sure it was the owner) he talked over me the whole time and put me under pressure.

This place is just oozing with love. I couldn't imagine taking our birds anywhere else to be groomed. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Went there to get a nail trim for my cockatiel. everyone there is so nice friendly.

Dominic has always been so incredible with our birds for wing and nail trims. Most recently when we took in one of our birds that was recovering and a bit weak, he was very gentle. We took in new birds to our family and he was helpful with their first clippings. We won't go anywhere else and love supporting them. THE BEST cuddlebones, too. Our birds are so picky, they will chew on no other brand than what we purchase here. Quality food, toys, and supplements.

My Severe had her nails done. You can tell they're experienced. She was toweled and nails were finished in just a couple of minutes! It was only $10. Thanks guys!

The owners are very helpful, friendly & knowledgeable about birds & what is good for our little family members. I have had my cockatiel for almost three years now and I love Ronie's for all the help they have to offer.

This is an amazing bird rescue! They genuinely care about the people adopting birds as well as the birds themselves. But they also board my birds, sell all sorts of bird toys, food and supplies. Support this amazing local business!

They are amazing, generous, incredible people and they are the only people I trust with my birds!!! They are the best!!!

Great selection of bird toys that are great quality. They also have great foot toys for parrots, and food for all types of birds. They also have a rescue program for birds that have been neglected and need experienced bird lovers to give them forever homes.

I don't understand when I read the other reviews and it says the staff are super friendly. I took my beloved bird there for a nail trim and the woman there was so offish and crotchety. She yelled at me for standing too close to a cage while I was talking to one of the birds. Mind you I was getting a positive response from the bird. When I first walked in I smiled at her and said hello. Her response? A scowl and an eye roll. Well, all I can say is I am not taking my bird back there. He doesn't need to be around that negativity. Oh and most of the birds looked sad and sick. Broke my heart for those birds. I was willing to adopt a friend for my birdie guy. But not from them. ????

Edit: Well we used to love coming here but this store has changed management and well its just not the same. I dont think we will waste our time here anymore. People who are into Birds are never really "people people" we all associate better with animals, but the new people running this store, ... well they really dont care about you at all. They are far more concerned about their own reputation and have their own opinions about how things should be done, and they dont listen or care much about anyone else. I did not realize the bird community had turned into such a clicky thing but well apparently it has. So if you want to be treated badly and told your doing everything wrong then feel free to go here. If you want to actually learn how to care for your animal then talk to a vet and do your own research. I am purposely leaving my old review of Ronnies below, as I used to love this place. Ronnie's store is named perfectly! She does it all for the love she has of birds! If you are going in to feel pampered yourself go to a day spa, but if you're looking for someone to tell you how it is, take care of your bird, and answer any question you could possibly have Ronnie is your girl! Ronnie loves these birds more than people for sure, so don't be surprised if she takes the birds side of it! Ronnie is wonderful at what she does!

I’ve been a regular customer of this amazing shop for years now. I know my birds are in good hands with their expert grooming services, and I buy all my bird care supplies there, including toys, pellets, treats and herbal supplements. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and warm, and they have helped educate me to be a better bird owner. I have adopted a few birds through their adoption program as well. They really do put the needs of birds first, and they are an invaluable resource for me as a bird owner.

It has been said before, but I will reiterate. Ronnie’s put the birds first. A lot of their feathery friends have had it rough. They make sure the birds end up in the right Forever Home. Before knowing about Ronie’s, we bought a bird from Petco. We love that guy, and so does the staff at Ronnies. This is especially evident when we go in for grooming or boarding. They have also given us very knowledgeable information about the wellbeing of our bird. If anyone feels judged, that is something the individual needs to check. That feeling is coming from within, not from the staff or owners. We have only felt guided and comforted during our visits.

I love that Ronie’s TRULY cares about the wellbeing of their birds. You can’t simply walk in and buy one. There is a process. I love taking my birds to get groomed. I’m always excited to catch up with the owners, as they take personal interest in my life! I feel like I’m apart of a community and not just another “customer”. Thank you Denyce, Dom, & Keith!!!

Ronnies is the best thing to happen to our family. We went in wanting a bird, a big one. The wise folks at the shop let us know that would not be a great match for us. This establishment is all about the birds. Our desire for a new big pet was not as important to them as these birds in need were. The rescue’s philosophy seems to be to take care of these birds and make sure they do not end up in a rescue again. Luckily, after a few months the right, perfect bird arrived at the rescue for us. We have loved our little companion and are forever thankful for the high level of standards the rescue relies on. I’m afraid to say that if we had gotten a big parrot (which other establishments have pushed on us), it would not have been a good fit for the family. It was the bird we wanted now, not forever. The bird most likely would have needed to be surrendered. We couldn’t see that at the moment, but these wise people could. We now have our perfect little bird and he is the perfect little match for our family.

This place absolutely puts the birds first. Everything they do is to help these feathery souls have the good life they deserve. As much as I love everything they do, their customer service sometimes is lacking. I feel a judged for having bought a baby parrot instead of adopting one that needed a home. The better choice for my family at the time was a baby bird, I also didn't know this place existed when I was looking for a parrot. Make sure your expectations are in the right place, this is a rescue and if it's your first time visiting you will not be taking a bird home. All of their birds are surrendered and had hard lives, Ronie's will educate you on proper diet and correct interaction with the parrots. And if you aren't nice to the birds (telling them to shut up, taunting, etc) you will be asked to leave. It's all about those birds they love.

Ronnies genuinely cares about the wellbeing of your bird and not just about the money. I have felt so much more prepared now becoming a new bird parent then I did before. 100% recommend them over anyone else.

Not sure why there are negative reviews but this place is awesome! Ronie and company really cares and understands birds. Had fun talking to them.

Super knowledgeable people. Friendly and concerned about my missing African Grey. Gave helpful encouragement. If you are interested in adopting a bird friend I would highly recommend Ronies!
