We feel comfortable and confident leaving our dogs at Old Farm because the staff has consistently put forth their best efforts toward caring for the animals in their care. Our dogs enjoy their stay and come home healthy. I just discovered that in addition to the laundered beds, blankets, and food bowls they provide, they also have slow feeder balls for pets that need them- which my 1yo sheepdog sometimes does. Also, I tipped them off that my mini schnauzer mix can get nervous around too many people or pets but loves to just hang out around an adult or two and then my husband found her sitting on someone's lap in the office when he arrived to pick them up. I know they can't do that all the time or for every pet but we were very pleased to pick up a calm and happy dog. As well as a large exhausted "toddler" who apparently played his heart out.

We have a pitbull mix and not many places accept them, so that's a plus for this place. The staff is friendly and seem to care about the animals they watch. We rarely have vacancy issues, in the couple years we've been using their services I can only think of one time they were too booked to take our dog. The one complaint I have is if we leave our dog overnight he always comes home with sore and sometimes bloody paws. I'm not sure if it's the pea gravel in the yard or what, but we've raised our concern and they're looking into it.

I get the 20 day passes for my pup. He goes everyday that I go into work. He loves it and gets so excited when we pull up. He will also recognize the staff when we run into them elsewhere (like Yappy Hour), and he's so excited. It's obvious they care about your pup!

Absolutely amazed at the welcoming! Only a couple hours of day care and my german shepard never looked so content with interaction with staff and other dogs! Wouldn't even think of using any other doggy day care or pet boarding service! Thank you, Old Farm!! See you tomorrow.

Took care of an "emergency" shelter as my cats caretaker flaked. He was healthy and happy when I got back!

I absolutely love Old Farm! My dogs always have so much fun, I am a vet tech and am a little picky to say the least. They are clean, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. We take our pups there two to three times a week for daycare.

Awful. I will never take my pets here!! Terrible customer service. They do not care when animals get hurt at their facility.

I have been coming here since I moved to Salt Lake City 12 years ago. My first 2 dogs that came here have since passed away, but they absolutely loved this place. They would get out of their bed and run to the garage door every morning when I said "Is it time for daycare?". Now, my other 2 dogs (A Berner and a German Shepherd) are going to Old Farm every day. The staff is friendly and professional but I care more about how my dogs react when they go through the door. They are like kids in a candy shop - they want to run around and have fun. Yes, sometimes they get dirty and wet, but that means they had fun. I don't mind it one bit. Afterall, isn't this why we are sending our beloved pets to a day care?

Old Farm Pet Resort is the greatest Day Camp and Boarding Facility! Leslie and her staff always put the animals first and do evaluations to make sure a dog passes the behavior test! The facility is so clean and it seems like all the staff know all the dogs and the cats too! I was so impressed when I went to do an impromptu visit! The facility looks really small from the outside but it goes way back and has a large dog play area and a large small dog area too. The cat area is really nice too! I can't imagine taking our dogs anywhere else!

I took my dog (Clive) to Old Farm Pet Resort last week to stay for two nights. When my husband brought him home Clive had a limp and some kind of burn on his feet and back of his leg (where he lays) one of his pads on his feet had a discharge. I gave him a long cool bath and rinsed his burns. I called the Old Farm Pet Resort to find out where he was kept and how this happened. I sent them photos of his injuries and burns. I found out he was kept in the outside K kennel (not temperature controlled) because he’s a pitbull. They told me the only thing they could think of was that he had a reaction to the chemicals/ sanitizer cleaners they sprayed in the kennels. I was told they would send the pictures to the owner and they’d get back to me. This was Friday. I didn’t hear back from a manager until Monday. By this time Clive was showing all the symptoms of kennel cough. I called Tuesday and asked Julie the manager for help - things were not getting better. She referred to section 3 of the waiver we signed and stated they wouldn’t help. I asked to have the owner contact me. The owner Leslie called me back and said the same thing. She said she didn’t know how Clive got hurt and burned and that getting kennel cough was just part of the risk of boarding there. She would not take accountability or offer any help. I was shocked at the lack of empathy and lack of willingness to help. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO OLD FARM PET RESORT. They might come back with burns, a limp, a virus, or worse.

Great price and great staff. My dog loves coming here and playing with all his puppy friends. Used many times for pet boarding.

I like Old Farm, everyone is super nice to me and my dog. The prices for daycare and boarding are reasonable. I wasn't able to get a boarding reservation recently because they were fully booked, that hasn't happened in the past. We only wish they offered cameras or something to check in while our dog is in boarding.

I left my chihuahua- mix here for 9 days and went on a family vacation. They are very accommodating to special needs & meds without charging extra. Their prices were less than where I took him before. The real selling point was the barn with dog doors where he could retreat from the wind, which he doesn't like, and other weather, whereas the previous place had more like a carport. All the folks were very nice! They have toys, treats & food for sale in their lobby and allow customers inside.

We love Old Farm Pet Resort. We have been taking our dog Havic here for almost 9 years. They are amazing with him..... He can be a handful because he is always filled with energy but they take care of him and wear him out and always greet him with a "Hi Havy". He is full of smiles and is worn out when we pick him up. Thanks so much to the staff at Old Farm Pet Resort. You are so, so amazing... ????????????♥️????????????‍????

Bad customer service and poor communication about services. More concerned about the money than caring for the animals that come there.

I have been taking my dog Mattis to Old Farm Pet Resort for Day care and boarding for a year now! They are like family and the only people I trust around my fur baby! The prices are the most reasonable I have seen, I get the monthly pass for day care and it is a steal. The boarding is reasonably priced as well, The owner offers different kinds of discounts, like First Responders, Multiple dogs, if you pay in cash... etc. The facility is HUGE, they have 3 different yards, I like that they let you take a tour, I didn't realize how big it was until I went back on a tour. They actually interact with the dogs, some of the staff even have nicknames for Mattis, They all treat him as if he is their own. They have pools in the summer and do bubble machines, they really make it fun for the dogs! Mattis has made friends at camp (some girlfrfiends too) He has been so much more confident and happier since I have taken him here. I have dropped him off for boarding a few times, Once was actually for an emergency and it was last minute, the staff was so amazing and able to squeeze him in last minute. They really try to accommodate your needs. In November of last year, Mattis was in an accident and injured his leg, I was home with him for 2 days and had no idea how I would care for him since I couldn't take all the recovery time he needed off from work. Without skipping a beat, the owner called and said "You bring him in, we will take care of him" I tried to explain that it would be a difficult task, he couldn't be around other dogs, he had to stay off of his back legs, there were medications to be administered and again she said "You bring him in, we will take care of him" They took him in, had a bed set up for him in the office, they were so patient and gentle with him, they took care of the medicine and made sure he was comfortable and got extra loves while I had to work, This helped me out so much and I couldn't believe the kindness they showed me and Mattis during a rough time. The staff is young and fun, some of them will send picture and videos playing with him and it just warms my dog mama heart to know my baby boy is safe, healthy and happy when I am away.

We have been taking our dog here almost daily for months now and very much appreciate the staff here. While they are not always friendly, they still provide great customer service. They have learned of our dog's needs for behavioral changes and have consistently worked on those with him. Also, we have shopped around the salt lake valley extensively for other dog daycare facilities and almost none can match the low pricing these folks have. I also appreciate the detailed reports I can get from them as to how my dog behaved throughout the day. While the facility does not look that great, it provides plenty of value to the dogs who stay there as well as to their parents. I highly recommend Old Farm Pet Resort.

A few months ago we moved Mr. Remmington to the Old Farm Pet Resort for day care and it has been the best decision for the happiness of our dog. He is a very active dog and Old Farm gives him the exercise he needs daily. The staff is professional and loves the dogs. The facility is clean and well maintained. We couldn't have found a better spot!

Worst experience with this place. They know how to take a reservation, but not how to hold it. Lady who helped at pick up of my dog literally yelled at us about complaining they were 2 hours late getting her in from our "set" appointment. Also, assuming an "owner" as she had her vehicle wrapped in this business information, speed up and rudely cut me off in drive thru almost hitting my car. No one get in her way of food, geez. You want business, you should act nicer and like a professional. Never ever giving them a dime again.

A few weeks ago I made an appoitment for my 10 lb Chihuahua mix to go to Old Farm Pet Resort for the day. He is usually very nervous with new people and more often than not does not let anyone besides myself pet him. Though he loves other dogs and I knew they had a section for just small dogs to play. So, I figured this would be a great time to socialize him and let him play. Right after I was done filling out the paper work one of the staff members came up to get him. She had heard he was scared so she got down to sit with him, she waited patiently for him to come to her. Within two minutes she was petting him and he even let her pick him up. The staff here truly cares about the animals and helps to make them feel as comfortable as possible. At the end of the day when I came to pick him up he was doing great and happy. They even had a cute little report card that was filled in about what he did that day and about his personality. I wiill continue to bring him to Old Farm Pet Resort to play with other dogs and help with his confidence in socializing with staff. Thank you Old Farm Pet Resort for taking care of my little guy!
