My son, puppy (Lilly), and I had a great first visit with Lilly's new veterinary team. Dr. Van Wagner took time to get to know Lilly and answer all of my questions. Her staff are very polite and knowledgeable, too. I am so glad I was referred to this clinic.

They're so nice. It's clean and the veterinarians are great!

Pretty easy to get into, nice, unfortunately sometimes the parking situation gets tricky especially with the construction

The vet was very knowledgeable and worked calmly and patiently with my cat. They gave me all the information I needed and told me what to expect going forward. It was an enjoyable experience for me and my cat.

My dog came in and was misdiagnosed and they charged a overwhelming price for a checkup. Then proceeded to do nothing about it.

Sugarhouse Vet Hospital has been the go-to place for my dogs for years! Their kindness and caring has been particularly wonderful when one our our dogs has reached his/her end of life. If we have problem that needs to be taken care of immediately, they are there. None of this, " We don't have an appointment available for X-number of weeks, but you can bring them in to the emergency clinic for an additional fee."

I have a 15 and 12 year-old shih tzu. The Doctors that take care of them are wonderful, the kind that will call me to see how they're doing. Wonderful place!

Dr. Perez is one of the most genuine medical professionals I have ever met. She treated my senior cat with such care and gentleness, even though Dennis can be a grumpy old cat. I am so glad she is at sugarhouse so I can continue Dennis's journey through pain management.

We took our dog to get surgery a mole removed on Monday we spent $1,300 they gave us gabapentin for nerve pain but prescribed him 600 mg a day we looked it up he should have at most gotten 370 a day they had us overdosing our dog and we found out yesterday. He died during the night because of the vets there not giving him the proper dose. never take your animals here they don't care if your animals die or not.

Took my dog there for ear mites. They charged me 75.00 for the medication in addition to the visit charge. Turns out I could buy the same medication on Amazon, best buy for $15.00 and $25.00 at pet smart. This place is a total cash grab.

My best friend recommended me this place and before I can even make me first visit I got a call from her this morning telling me that her dog passed away. Says the Vet prescribed medicine that was too much for his weight class so he overdose and has left us today. Says she's having a hard time getting them to take responsibility and provide help during this tough time they had caused. Very disappointing to hear as I want the absolute best care for my companion. Upon reading other reviews seems like they are coming for your money without the truest good intentions for the best care of your companion

I came here with a very scared little stray kitty and both the Vet and tech were amazing with her. They were very gentle and did everything they could to make both of us comfortable. I've adopted semi-feral cats in the past and the vet visits always ended up being pretty awful for all people and animals involved. This experience was by FAR the best I've had in terms of stress and wellbeing of the cat. Would definitely recommend!!

Went to the place w a dog scratch his eye but was told to come back later in the day as all vetaratians are in a meeting & couldnt be bothered. Whatever.

Our chihuahu's teeth had been neglected for quite a while (he is a rescue). We were unsure how many he would need removed. Dr. Perez kept us updated throughout the whole experience and made us feel secure that Stevie was receiving the best care. The staff were very professional and I recommend this practice to all my friends in the area and will be returning for Stevie's annual check up. Thank you Dr. Perez and Sugar House Vet Staff!

Vet was very friendly and great with my dog. She noticed things I did not and I got great treatment for my pup. I highly recommend!

The clinic has a friendly and very helpful staff. We followed Dr. Van Wagnor to this clinic after years under her care. The time we have left with our little Thor is closing in due to kidney disease that has gone into stage 3 kidney failure and the staff and Van Wagnor have really taken the time to answer any questions that we have and to help us understand the situation better. I couldn’t imagine going through this with any other vet. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and attentive. Thank you for all your care throughout the years and for the years to come.

We recently moved to Salt Lake City and I was concerned about finding a vet for my elderly dog (16 years old). I made an appointment at Sugar House Veterinary Hospital with Dr Nett-Johnson. My dog and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was really kind. Sawyer (my dog) was showered with love and attention. Dr. Net-Johnson was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I am so happy that we found such a wonderful place to take care of Sawyer.

I highly recommend Sugarhouse Vet. Dr. Perez was kind and compassionate in dealing with my very frightened cat. Amazingly, Dr. Perez was able to do a very decent exam while said cat was hiding under a towel. Great recommendations that will actually work. Other staff members with whom I interacted were professional, helpful, and kind as well. 5 star experience!

Took my cats in for vaccine updates. They recommended one of them have some dental work. After 22(!!) teeth extractions she was a new cat. Have your kitties mouths checked! Tooth pain is the worst.

Friendly and professional all the way from the scheduling on the phone, reception, tech, and vet. I am happy that my pup is now established here.

Every staff member I have encountered has been welcoming and patient. Hope I have the same luck with whoever we pick when we move!

Dr. VanWagoner and all of the staff at Sugarhouse Vet Hospital are very knowledgeable, personable and professional. We have taken our mini goldendoodle here since she was a puppy and she LOVES it. She claws at the cement to get inside. What dog loves going to the vet? They must have good dog treats. In all seriousness, Dr. VW is so good with our Lily, you can tell she really loves her job and the animals. I never feel rushed in my appointments and she takes her time with our dog and genuinely cares that all of our questions and concerns are addressed. The scheduling staff and vet techs are incredible, they are prompt in returning messages and getting messages to your vet, which is very important when you have a sick furbaby. I am so happy we found Dr. VanWagoner and this vet clinic, we will never go anywhere else!

I cannot recommend Sugarhouse Vet enough. We have been bringing our dogs to them for over 20 years. It is nice to know that when we need our pets to be cared for, that they will be treated well and sweetly. The vets are top notch and the staff from the front to the vet techs are exceptional. We have had dogs with diabetes and other things that could have been horrible, but the staff was wonderful and supportive to get us through it all.

Dr Van Wagner is an amazing veterinarian!! We have been coming to her for years and even since we moved 40 minutes away we still make the drive for her to see our dogs. She always answers all our questions and concerns and I never feel rushed or that she has other patients to see. We feel we are in the best hands with her treating and looking after our dogs.

The vets her were so rude that we had to switch providers. Luckily we did, because after 3 alternative opinions, we found out that the surgery they elected our cat for was a completely unnecessary cash grab. Shame on the vets here that are willing to compromise an animal's health to gouge into the owners' wallets.

I have been taking my cats to SHVH for more than 20 years and have always had extraordinary service from the staff, vet techs and Drs. Our tech was really good with Oji this time around. She asked a lot of questions to understand what is happening with his health and she addressed my concerns. She handled him very gently when taking him inside to get examined. I was also very impressed with Dr. Perez. She did a thorough exam on Oji and called me to give me a report. She handled his issue with extra care and even called me the next day to check on him. She really gave me peace of mind that Oji is in good hands and they are doing their best to help him get well. I felt like they really care about my cat. Thank you SHVH!
