They do great pet care. My dog had an ulcer on his eye and they were able to get him fixed up and back to his old self.

We love Dr. Kollinger & absolutely recommend going here for all your pets eye care needs. Even if you think there may be something wrong, schedule an appointment. We should've come months sooner than we did & I wish I had scheduled sooner.

This was our third visit to a vet for my dog's eye issue, our first time ever at this facility. It exceeded my expectations! LOTS of knowledge and it was made easy to understand. They clearly know what they are doing, we couldn't be happier that they were able to test and diagnose in one visit (we drove 2.5 hours for the appointment). Not only that, the treatment they prescribed worked fast and now we just have to be patient while our dog heals. So very grateful to have access to a facility like this!

They are amazing. Dr. Knollinger has cared for 2 of our pups. She is wonderful to work with and is very professional and genuinely cares about our dogs. She has helped us all through some very challenging situations. The staff is awesome. They are very compassionate, helpful and understanding. I can't say enough about the entire team. We recommend Eye Care for animals to anyone we know who is in need of eye care for their animals.

The doctors were very nice to us and our poor little blind boy (dog). They explained everything very thoroughly (test and treatments) and made sure we were comfortable with all the steps we were about to take before moving forward.

I loved all my interactions with this incredible service for animals! My bunny has glaucoma and as soon as I could travel, an appointment was made. I have to rent a vehicle, which was not easy, but we made our appointment! When we got there, I called to let the Staff know we were there. They brought me two forms to complete - short, concise, finished in two minutes. Then the Staff member returned for the paperwork. She gave me several options to come in or have a curbside appointment. I opted for the latter. She told me the Vet would call with the results of my bun's exam. Then the Technician came outside to bring my bunny into the clinic. And yes! This happened, just like I was told. With my clumsiness, I disconnected the call accidentally. I called back and the Staff answered the phone and very kindly asked me to wait. Almost immediately, the Vet was back on the phone and she was so compassionate about my bunny, as she shared the exam results and plan. Within a few minutes, we wrapped up the payment and return of my bunny. I highly recommend the Eye Care for Animals, which also has skin care, etc... for critters as well. Check them out!!

Chevy, my English Bulldog, had an eye injury that wouldn't get better. He ended up having it removed. Amy was amazing! She was able to explain the issues, the options, and follow up with the care. We even got a card in the mail after the surgery! Chevy is healing well, NO ISSUES with breathing, surgery, or infection after it was removed.

They are absolutely AMAZING! My dog was diagnosed with diabetes and went blind overnight! My regular vet told us there was nothing you can do and she would be blind forever! We made an appointment with Eye Care Animals they did some tests and then performed a cataract surgery on both eyes...now she can see me again! Amy Knollinger and all her staff are not only so helpful but they actually really CARE!!!! I am so grateful for everything you have done and continue to do for our family!

Great staff! My pet had an injury that was beyond my local vets abilities and the probability was high he could lose the sight in one eye, long story short he healing nicely and back to catching his frisbee like a champ!

They took our dog in right away, despite not having the availability, due to the emergent nature of his situation. They worked for a few hours and were able to find the problem, correct it, and send us home with the necessary medicine to help him get better. They were kind, knowledgeable, and had nothing but nice things to say about our dog. It was a terrifying situation to find ourselves in, and we’re feeling very grateful to have found ourselves here, getting the help and reassurance we needed. I’d recommend them to everyone.

After multiple consultations with my two small animals vets, my two year old Shih Tzu with distichiasis was scheduled for surgery with Dr Knollinger. I had researched Dr. Knollinger extensively and reports of her were glowing, including one from one of my own vets. Photos taken by a veterinarian were sent to Dr. Knollinger, with records and reports from both vets, in advance of our appointment. When I called to schedule the surgery I was treated very rudely by a staffer and told no records had been received. Vets re-sent the info. I called again to check and was again treated badly by the same staffer. After one of my vets ran interference for me with the clinic I did get a call from a better trained person confirming my appointment and trying to reassure me. After a 5 hour drive I arrived for surgery, handed over my dog to a complete stranger in a parking lot, as per COVID lunacy, and was told to wait in the parking lot. Over 90 minutes later I received a call from Dr. Knollinger, (the first and only time I was ever allowed to communicate with her exalted personage) who began describing to me a dog that bore no resemblance to any condition my dog was experiencing. When I attempted to ask about the large visible clumps of hair sprouting from deep within my dog's eyesockets that have been rubbing against her corneas for the last 2 years I was told no such hairs existed and the dog had allergies. I was given my dog back (THANK GOD!!!) and antibiotics and sent on my 5 hour drive home. Believe me and 3- make that now THREE -veterinarians that know my dog does not have any allergies and does indeed have glaringly obvious distichiasis. I have been a vet tech for 3 veterinarians and have worked the desk. I am a responsible and very knowledgeable pet owner. I have a better than average undergrad education in anatomy, biology, and chemistry. I am so flummoxed by my experience with this clinic and this vet that I can barely articulate a civil response. Think very hard, and get real communication before you waste your time and money with these people. Just because they work for some does not guarantee they care about you.

I would difiniyely take my fur baby here. They are very helpful and really tell you about what the problem is. I highly recommend this hospital to everyone.

This clinic is top notch. They have always communicated well and it feels like all of the staff genuinely love the animals under their care. I have even texted the vet's personal phone about a concern after hours and she happily answered my questions and put my mind at ease. I feel everyone here goes above and beyond and deserves all the praise. Because this is a specialized clinic, it is a bit expensive to have your pet treated here, but it is worth every penny if you want to be assured that your pet is in good hands.

I was at AVC too pick up my dog after surgery it went well and the dog is home taking it easy.

It seams from other post and my experience that they like to schedule a lot of follow ups making them extra money. There's always people sitting up front while you wait in the back. My follow-up appointment price when shown my treatment options was never explained. My vet doesn't charge when I return to follow-up on a ear infection.$$$ is a primary driving force in this specialised "hospital"

Dr. Amy Knollinger is amazing!! Our family dog was experiencing an ulcerated cornea (which could have led to blindness). Amy put our minds at ease and successfully performed the procedure to correct the defect (and resulting damage). Within a couple of weeks, our pooch was back to chasing the birds from her " turf". Thank you Eye Care for Animals and their considerate staff: Cheryl, Nicki, Maureen, and Especially Dr Knollinger and Sterve! Sadly, due to pandemic restrictions, I did not get a chance to thank her face to face but am looking forward to the next opportunity.

Dr. Amy Knollinger cared for my Pekingnese (Kepa) for many years and also treated my Yorkie (Patxiko) as well. She was wonderful to work with and provided quality care for my fur babies until their final day on this earth. Dr. Knollinger is kind, compassionate and was not only supportive to Kepa and Patixko, but to me as well. She is also an incredible advocate and made sure that Kepa and Patxiko's needs were met. I am grateful for Dr. Kolloinger's love and support over the years! The Team at Eye Care for Animals are all wonderful to work with as well! They were always kind and helpful over the years. I highlight recommend Dr. Knollinger and Eye Care for Animals!

Very attentive staff; each team member who helped me was informed on my cat's medical history. Everyone was very friendly, too.
