We have been taking our dog here for over four years she’s had two surgeries done on both her ACL’s. The vet will talk to you personally go over possibilities and is always open to check ups and phone calls I can’t say enough about there practice

Very friendly staff and very personal attention from the veterinarians. They took the time to answer all of my questions and explain everything I needed to know about my dog.

My husband and I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Gust at Dixie Veterinary Clinic. His knowledge is impressive as is his enthusiasm. He's recommended a number of tests, procedures, and treatments that will help us identify and treat our dog's medical conditions. We appreciate the way Dr. Gust approaches healthcare. He doesn't dismiss symptoms or assume he knows their cause without gathering the evidence needed to back up his assertion. He goes over findings in detail, which makes us feel confident in his diagnoses and treatments. He takes his time even if a routine visit ends up being more complicated than anticipated. He's exceptionally responsive when we reach out about issues that crop up. Most of all, he clearly cares about the health and well-being of the animals he treats. We're thrilled that he's our dog's veterinarian. We are so thankful to be working with him.

Overpriced. I didn’t feel like anyone cared about my pet. I never got called back from messages I left on voicemail and with front desk. Can never get in for sick appointments. My dogs problems were disregarded.

Rebecca at Dixie Veterinary Clinic is the best. Rebecca takes the time to explain what is going on with your dog and answers all your questions. Being new to the area we did not know who to trust and Rebecca came highly recommended to us by a neighbor. It takes the stress out of dealing with your dogs health needs when you have complete faith and confidence in the veterinarian. So glad we followed the recommendation we received to trust our dog to Rebecca.

This was my first encounter with Dixie Veterinary Clinic. After hours my horse had a mild case of colic that was not improving. Dr. Colton Gust called me back within 15 minutes of leaving a voicemail and was to my house within 20 minutes of calling me back. He was able to thoroughly assess my horse in a timely manner. He was very happy to come out even for a mild case of colic (A LOT OF VETS REFUSE TO COME OUT FOR A MILD CASE OF COLIC). He said he'd much rather come out and treat it now before it gets bad. He was kind, caring, and compassionate. Dr. Gust made sure to give my horse pain medications and sedation so he was comfortable. He gave me clear instructions on how to do after care for my horse, including pain management. (again a lot of vets skip out on pain management) I am over all very impressed and super thankful Dr. Gust was able to come out and take care of my horse and help him feel better. Dr. Gust comes highly recommended from my horse and I.

Been going there for two years with my great Danes. Only vet in town that seemed knowledgeable about the large breed. In fact, one of the techs has great Danes herself. They are always quite busy, and parking is not optimal, but I’d rather be inconvenienced than have a sub optimal vet for my for babies.

They are the best in service, courtesy, and professionalism. Thank you all!

I've been going here with my dogs since 1995. Have had nothing but good experiences with staff and vets, even when tough decisions had to be made.

I just moved here so I was looking for a reliable vet. I called and explained that my 14 year old dog needed a steroid injection for hip dysplasia. She made me an appointment for a week out. I came in for that appointment and they tell me I have to reschedule bc I had a tech appointment not a vet appointment. (I live in veyo so this wasn’t just down the street for me) I explained I told the women on the phone exactly what I needed and she made the wrong type of appointment. They didn’t care or take responsibility for their mistake, my dog needs that shot every 4 months for it to be effective so I couldn’t wait another week. They brought out one of the vets who told me the same thing like I didn’t hear it the first 5 times from the tech. They acted like they were going to work something out, so I waited. Half hour later they tell me they don’t do this certain shot so they can’t help me. It’s the Depo Medrol steroid shot, I was able to get into St George Veterinary Hospital and they did the injection immediately and told me it’sa very common shot. I don’t recommend this place at all, they don’t care if they made a mistake, and they will yank you around just to look like they are trying to do something for you. On top of all that they are so busy you can barely keep any of the receptionists or techs attention because there is too much going on in their tiny waiting room.

Dr Brinkerhoff is by far, the best vet anyone could ever ask for! This man has a heart of gold and has always taken the best care of my animals, in life and after. Thank you so much for continuing to be such a good soul and compassionate human being. I’ll be forever grateful for the care we have received and continue to receive from you. You have ALWAYS gone above and beyond. Your animals will be in the best care, as long as they have Dr Brinkerhoff as their vet! ❤️ ???? ????

Dr. McDonald takes care of my two wheatens . She always listens to my concerns and addresses all of them. My dogs love her . She is very kind and gentle with all 3 of us :) She takes her time and makes sure I understand what I need to do or not do with my dogs . She even gave us a follow up call to make sure things were going ok. She goes the extra mile which seems to be rare these days . I really appreciate all she does and am so blessed we found her .

Great nonjudgmental care!! Good prices too. My dogs will be using this vet from now on.

Love them and seems so does everyone else. My big baby had an injured leg. Took a week for him to be seen but he gets all the love and attention when he is there they are great.

Our senior dog wasn't himself and not feeling well, Dixie diagnosed him with arthritis and prescribed pain meds and now he's enjoying his walks again!

They treated my dog Summer today the doctor explained to me very well I liked her very professional service and her very friendly assistant. And the front desk great services.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Dr. Brinkerhoff and his team are professional, helpful, down to earth people. My wife and I recently moved here to SG so we had not yet used or established a vet for our little 10 year old Papillion. Had a slight emergency and they were able to make time for her (thank goodness). In no time she was good as new. I could tell Shiva was on board during our visit (good energy is found at Dixie Veterinary Clinic). So thankful to have found this place and the wonderful folks that work there.

The clinic has been very helpful getting appointments for my cat, after she had a stroke and Dr. McDonnell has been wonderful.

Really hard to get an appointment, but it's really hard to get in anywhere these days! Dr. Brinkerhoff is the best! He explains things that I can understand and treats my dog like family. I love taking Goldie there when she needs them!

Good place for help with Animals.

Great place! Friendly, quick, affordable, and I feel like they actually care about my cat. The waiting area is a little, uh, cozy, but they're expanding! Yay!

I went into their office within the Past 6 or 7 months, with another person to find out about prices for her dog ????. The front office staff treated us with kindness and respect, in spite of the narcissistic way that the lady with me was acting about treatment for her dog. This shows me that they know how to work with a virety of people, and really put the care of out pets at the highest priority possible.

We've just had to say goodbye to a 4th pet and the care and time they gave us each and every time was so compassionate towards us. It will never be forgotten.
