I have been going to red hills for the past year with my puppy, and my family has been taking their dog here for the last 7 years. I have never had one complaint about this place until today. Their doctors are absolutely amazing and I would trust them over anyone else any day. They are always attentive to my pup and are always willing to talk over options or concerns. However, I will not be returning to this office. Today when I called to see if they had any appointments available this week, the receptionist was very rude. She seemed very mad that I was even calling to ask and then proceeded to tell me how short staffed they are. I understand being short staffed, being in the health care field we are short staffed everyday. However, it is very unprofessional to make PAYING customers feel like they are the reason you are short staffed and unhappy. I would never talk to one of my patients the way I was talked to today. This receptionist has bothered me with her attitude multiple times before, but after calling today I am afraid to even call again because of the rude remarks. It is unfortunate because I really liked this office and am affiliated with several dog owners. I will now suggest other places for them to take their dogs and will be going elsewhere as well. The first face you see when you walk through the door makes a huge impact, hope you guys can figure it out and maybe give some training on better customer service. Customers/patients should never feel like they are the problem.

What a mess! No one communicates at that office at all! So many screw ups on the clinics part... some how got all 4 of my pets health needs all mixed up. Clinic didn't get my cats good in for the 2nd week in a row & failed to communicate it AGAIN, now he's out of his prescription food he needs which no other clinics have. Parking is a absolute nightmare in the lot & hard to see on coming traffic with so many cars parked on the side. Hope things get better at this clinic because we like the vets or we plan to switch clinics. Would NOT recommend for new out of state patients at all.

They take advantage of people that love their dogs and charge them 50% more than they should.

Staff is totally amazing! They honestly care about your pet. They have 4 vets so it's usually pretty easy to get in within a day or two. We love Dr Caleb Gwilliam. He always takes the time listen my concerns and always asks if I have any question about what he's explained. Update 12/14/21 - After speaking to the staff, a lot of people from out of town have moved in and found our awesome little vet clinic. They try to get the new patients in asap so now it takes a week or two for me to get in. I understand the business model and can't fault them for that but I'm kinda upset it takes so long to get in when that was something I loved about them in the first place. Staff is still awesome and I will definitely continue to take my fur babies here.

Excellent. 100% recommend. They got us in quick, gave our cat that was nervous a towel to hide and be cozy, made ALL the difference. They were so gentle with her, very informative about everything. Really came through for us. We saw Dr. Caleb. All the techs were fantastic as well.

I'm rating this company through my mom's experience. She lost her little buddy of 13 years, her heart is truly broken. When she spoke with Red Hills Animal Hospital, they were compassionate and kind to her. She had him cremated and they made a paw print as well as a paw mold with some of his hair in it. She is grateful for these guys and their work standards. Call them for all you pet needs!!

Getting an appointment may take a while because the demand of the doctors is super high, but the caring and compassion makes it worth the wait.

Dr. Robison and his staff at Red Hills Animal Hospital have exceeded our expectations. Dr. Robison has been excellent about keeping us informed and involved in our dog, Ruby's, care. He has made an extremely difficult and heartbreaking situation, bearable. Ruby is scared of going to the vet (like most animals) and Dr. Robison has gone out of his way each visit, to wait to assess her until she has warmed up to him. He is caring, kind and professional. He has left a profound impression on us. We're so incredibly thankful for Dr. Robison and Red Hills animal hospital.

We took our new puppy here for a set of vaccinations and a wellness check. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We could tell that they really love the animals they care for, because when they took her in the other room for a nail trimming, we could hear all of the staff going Gaga over her. It made me and my husband smile. The vet seemed very knowledgeable when answering my questions and gave me good instructions and advice on how to properly care for her. I would recommend this animal hospital. They give complimentary nail tripping and deworming which is great, too specially because my puppy has black nails.

I can't say the cats love the office but that's just because they hate the journey. The staff here is great and they have been amazing with each of the girls.

I called a couple of times and no one answered so I finally left a message. I told them my six month old puppy had had chronic diarrhea for over a month now and could they please respond to me as soon as possible. That was four days ago and I’ve still never heard from anyone. I guess chronic diarrhea is not a big deal to them!

I understand that they have some need to examine the dog before administering the vaccine my problem is that I’ve never had to have that in any of my other pets in other vet clinics in Utah. The office visit also has never cost $68 before for such a simple visit. Not only this but our puppy had such pain when he got the vaccines that he runs from us when we try to pick him up or pet him. When we are able to hold him we can’t touch his backside or he yips in pain. In addition when we left after he got the bordetella nasal vaccination he could barely breathe. We have never had to get these extra vaccinations before from any other vet and we really weren’t given the option if we wanted them or not. We asked for one vaccine that we thought he needed not all of the extras that ended up costing us another $100.

Dr. Hannig has been amazing to work with. We recently moved to St. George and had many people recommend him to us as the best in town. He truly cares about the health / well-being of each of our animals. He has been very helpful and uses extreme caution with some new medications we have been trying for our dogs arthritis. Most Vets that we have met with in the past simply prescribe something and hope it sticks... not Dr. Hannig. Knowing our dog has other internal issues he has made it a point to check that these medications are working while not causing other problems. He is extremely friendly and willing to take the time to come up with a medical / scientific plan to help with our animals. The staff have been great as well... we have called with questions, medical record requests, and they have always been friendly had fast with our requests.

Well staffed and friendly. Costs are acceptable and results have been positive for my cat with diabetes. Just three visits to monitor her sugar and we have her controlled.

We just moved here from MN with our cats. Time for a check up and we are very glad and super impressed with our choice of Red hills animal Hospital. Dr Farnsworth and his entire staff were super pleasant and helpful. Samantha B. is our favorite assistant. Very glad we chose them. Thank you!
