Park Animal Hospital Provo, Utah

The staff there is super kind and patient with pets. I have a lab that loves meeting new people. Even the doctor said that our lab was super friendly and that he just loved her. I went there about 3 or 4 years ago and had my family pet cat put down. It was a sad day but they were very kind and thoughtful during the whole process. I will always take my pets here.

The staff are caring and as accommodating as they can be, even at a time like now when they are short staffed and have to be cautious about Covid. My dog had multiple services here, and each visit has gone as well as it could go. Appointments are a little far off but the quality of care is good. The doctors we saw were compassionate and explained every thing thoroughly.

Love them they are the best!

Took my cat. She was sick. They cleaned her teeth. She got even sicker. Took her back. No medication nothing. Maybe kidneys. Well she is dead now. Birds i took before to get there beaks trimmed. Dead. If you want your pets do not go there. Hate them now.

I hate this place. I don't know how it has such a high rating. I've been going here on and off for 2 years, giving it chance after chance because it's the closet vet to me. The waiting times are ridiculous. When I arrived for my appointment, I called in and waited 20 minutes for someone to come out. Several other people who arrived after me were seen to, so I called again. When someone finally came out, they said the vet wouldn't be able to see my dog for at least another half hour. What's the point of making an appointment if you don't even get seen until 50 minutes after that anyway? This is very typical of the service I've received for the past 2 years and it's been even worse before. If they're simply short staffed, they've been so for years and clearly don't know how to fix it. They are also consistently more expensive than other vets I've tried.

We don’t regularly go here, but we found out they’ll come out to the car to euthanize when our vet wouldn’t. Such a good experience! The techs were so caring and accommodating with whatever we wanted to do. When Dr. Ogden came out, he was also very caring and thorough in explaining the process. The best part was hearing them say my dogs name, especially at the moment she passed. She’s not even a patient there, but for them to treat her as one under their care, really was a big deal for me. She was able to stay comfortable on her bed, and not be stressed by going inside. So incredibly grateful!

We have been taking our dogs to the vets and groomers at Park Animal Hospital for several years, and could recommend them to anyone who is looking for kind, professional, and friendly care for your pet.

The care given to our Standard Poodle who tore a toenail was great. Dr. Ogden called us mid-day to explain the treatment and how our boy was doing. He was very thorough and patient with all our questions. That being said, this office is very overwhelmed and understaffed which is concerning. When we first called we were told that appointments were booked out over 2 months. We were grateful that they agreed to take our dog on an urgent care, drop-off basis. We sat in the parking lot for over an hour after the time we were told to pick up our pet after his treatment. Our dog is recovering well and seems comfortable so we are happy and relieved but.....What the Heck??? ....is going on with the Vet Dr. and Tech shortage????

My dog had (has) pain in his hip. I made an appointment to have him checked. I was told that due to COVID policies I couldn’t attend the examination. I disagree with their policies, in that if an animal is suffering from pain and the visit is not a routine visit, the owner should be able to attend so as to be aware of how best to help the animal cope or recover. Going elsewhere.

I have been going to Park animal hospital for years... some appointments have been good, others not so much. For what ever reason, they are short staffed right now and their service has declined severely. The office staff don't seem to care much. They are overly paranoid about COVID even almost two years after it started, they will not let you come in with your pet to the visit. It kind of defeats the point of being able to ask questions or express concerns to the vet. It did not used to be that way. It is so sad to see it decline.

I took all my dogs in to get fixed! This staff is amazing and great to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone. This same vet took care of our dog a few years back when we had to put him asleep. The way they handled it and comforted us was amazing.

Update: a year later in bringing my dog back for his annual exam, I had absolutely no wait and everything was great! 5 stars I've had good experiences with their after hours emergency staff, and I like the veterinarian and technicians. The downside is that I always end up waiting for the appointment for a minimum of 15 minutes but on average more like 30 minutes. If you can't see me until 9:30 how about telling me that's when my appointment is instead of me arriving at 9 and wasting my time? They need to double their front desk staff too.

I have taken my dog to them since the day I got her! All vaccines, her spay surgery and when she fractured her toe. They have been really great with treatments and have very reasonable pricing. They aren't always great about answering their phones but they follow up with you about your future appointments which I love! They called, emailed, and texted to confirm my dog's appointment and fit us in for an emergency appointment a few months ago. I have had great experiences with them.

BEST VET YOU COULD GO TO!!!! The people at Park Animal Hospital have gone to the ends of the earth and back for me. I was illegally evicted for having a registered ESA (that's a whole other story) and I had nowhere to for my cat or I to go. So I called Park Animal Hospital, they told me they were fully booked and didn't have room to board another animal. I then explained the situation and that they made room that hour for my cat to come stay there until I found a place to live. They did this knowing I had no idea when I could come pick her (my cat) back up. My cat had to stay there for two weeks; they called me all the time and gave me updates on how she was doing (the office was still closed for people to come inside due to covid) Because of my anxiety, I struggle when I do not have an animal around. I was so stressed from the eviction that the nurses there set up a room with blankets, water, and toys for me to go inside and see my cat (who I had not seen for 2 weeks). The best customer service I've every received in my entire life The people at Park Animal Hospital are angels! I believe they would do anything for their customers! They have the best hearts, and I know they would do what they did for me with any of their clients. They all deserve a raise! Once again, thank you to all the nurses and doctors for moving mountains for me! <3

They saved our cat on a few different occasions when he needed emergency surgery. They have a great staff of people who really care about animals. I highly recommend them.

We have been taking our dogs here for years. They always take great care of us and our fur babies.

I absolutely love Dr. Christensen (sorry if spelling is wrong) he made me feel like a good dog mom about the fact that I feed my babies a fresh food diet and even shared a recipe of his with me.. the techs are always so nice and cuddly with my babies.. prices were no where near as high as I thought they would be... thank you Park Animal for taking such good care of my Chewy, Bean, and Reesa...

My family has been bringing our pets to Park since I was a little girl. We got a new dog during the pandemic and due to long waits everywhere we chose to go to a different vet who was closer to our home for a minor procedure. How does the phrase go "You don't know what you've got till it's gone?" The level of communication, care of pets and their owners at Park Animal Hospital is unmatched. I will not take my pets anywhere else! They are willing to spend time with each appointment to ensure comfort and an understanding for all patients. They've made a new generation life-time returning costumers. Thanks for all you do!

I bring my pup Gus here for boarding and I feel like he always comes back super happy! Leaving him is never easy but I love how much they love him here too and it makes it a lot easier. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of him! ☺️

We had an emergency and had to rush our dog to the vet. They were the only one available and were very kind and attentive. Our dog ended up passing away and they were very sensitive about it and comforting. They have these kind of situations all the time I’m sure but they make you feel like an individual not a number. I am definitely going there with my next pet.

I was very pleased with my dog's hair cut. The groomer was older (a good thing) because my dog has a bad heart and she immediately put me at ease as to how Buster would be treated.

Looked after my cat over the weekend, this was the second time he had stayed. They are so sweet and played with him, he seems to really like being there. Highly recommend them for boarding your family pet

We had to put our 22 year old cat down and have never experienced this process before. Someone recommended this place, so I called them with the situation, they were able to see us same day. They were extremely sensitive, showed compassion, and guided us every step of the way. Our experience was so much more comfortable than I expected, and it was done with so much love and care from the Dr and nurse. For a situation that every fur-parent dreads, this place made our last moments with our cat memorable and comfortable, down to how tenderly and lovingly they carried our precious cat out of the room after she passed. We received her ashes and memorabilia in wonderful and caring packages with a note. We highly recommend this place!

We've taken our pets to Park Animal Hospital for 44 years. It was called Alpine Animal Hospital then. I think Dr Purvance was the doctor in those days. Dr Park was always very kind and caring for our animals. Sometimes we saw Dr Creer too. More recently, since Dr Park retired, I don't know the names of the doctors. But, the aides that have brought our cats in and out from my car have been wonderful! (Covid times ????) Always kind and helpful. I've been told by some people that their prices are high. Idk. I like them and will continue to refer my friends to Park's.

The whole staff made a very sad time into a peaceful calm time. We had to let go of two longtime friends/family. They had became in more pain and suffering than they should have to endure, without hope of getting relief. They had enjoyed 15 years together with us. They passed on togather peacefully because of the skill and kindness that Park Animal Hospital offered them and our family!

Saved my dogs life!!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Good experience with my pup. I wasn’t a fan of not being able to be with my dog during his checkup due to covid but I am happy with the way that they were set up to be able to still see patients as well as communicate with owners

I took my cat in to get a check up on and the staff was very friendly and quicker than expected. I was concerned about the curbside service where I stay in the car and the staff member picks up my pet. However the vet tech that helped me was very pleasant and friendly. The vet called me to go over my concerns and the care options. He was very informative and I did not feel rushed at all. When the vet tech brought my pet back out to me, they made sure I understood everything they vet went over and that all my questions were answered. Overall an amazing experience and I will definitely be using this vet again!

Friendly staff, good covid precautions, great with animals and their owners
