Petco Orem, Utah

The Petco is never too busy, the staff are always helpful and friendly. Selection is good and they generally have whatever I'm looking for.

Always have what I need

Even though it wasn't my local Petco I was amazed with the service and help! Great experience!

I know they are a "big box" pet store, but unlike the local store across the street, they are always clean, and have nice clean cages that are appropriate for the animals. The local store across the street has crammed too many animals in small dirty cages in a small retail space with big price tags. Bad business model if you ask me. I'll be shopping here instead even though I try to shop local as much as I can.

Good store just didn't have the right brushes we needed

We walked in and walked out. The store seemed to be in disarray. Items stacked in the aisles, a variety of toys strewn in different boxes. It just looked like a mess in there.

The Orem store has the wholehearted pouches my cat will eat while your Spanish Fork location does not. Why doesn't that store carry your own brand name product?

The staff is so stressed can't answer questions with out falling apart, ???? ???? I just needed 1 item but stacking dog food is more important.. prices also are horrible... not a challenge to be nicer and answer questions... try Amazon for better results for your pet...

I love to come look at the cats.

Went in for cat food for my picky 11 year old tabby. Had a pretty good selection to choose from. Went home with some food I hope he will like. My only complaint, only one register open and I was in line for appx 20 minutes.

Took my dog to get his shots the doctors are really cool they know how to take care of the animals

Service and selection at this location was better than the petsmart near my home. They were very knowledgeable on their fish as well.

Everything is so disorganized and messy, it feels really second rate especially when compared to other petco stores in Salt Lake County

My dog got what he needed

The cashiers and associates inside the store are helpful and kind. However, a girl in the grooming section ignored me when I went to check on prices. She had tattoes and color and short hair. (I am not discriminating just giving details). Luckily one of the groomers came and talked to me nicely. I had a great experience inside the store except for the lady in the grooming salon.

Website doesn't work all that well. Everytime I search anything it loads store information. Ball? Stores near me Food? Stores near me. Anything else? What Stores are near me.

Friendly employees and plenty of pet supplies. The store comms will drive you insane after a few minutes, "Call waiting... Line one." Haha

I had a grooming appointment for my 3 dogs at 8 AM I was there at 7:50 and no one was there to open the store until 8:45. so for almost an hour I waited to drop my dogs off for grooming. When they finally opened I was told they could not take my dogs because their existing record (made by the Spanish fork grooming store) was wrong and they will not be able to do the services. So after waiting weeks for this appointment all they could do is a bath. they need to get their situation figured out because how does size ratings change between stores? How do appointments get so screwed up? How is it they are not open for grooming drop off at the appointment time? Too many strikes for me to ever go back.

Great selection of aquarium equipment and decor. I dont think I'll buy another fish from here though, 3/4 died within a day. The other fish I got from a different pet store are thriving.

They try. Not perfect but you can count on them giving it their best effort. I had a small miscommunication about a particular service that was not ideal, but the follow up conversation resolved the issue.
