I have an EXTREMELY difficult cat who was sick and I was pestering the staff with questions on what to do. They shrugged it off and my boy is doing great! Office even called a few days later to check on him. Fantastic place.

I took my puppy there for the first time. All of the staff was great & took that care of me & my pup!

I took my dog in for the first time to get a checkup and vaccinations. Everyone was so excited to see my dog and they were all friendly and professional. I barely waited 3 minutes before they brought us back and the appointment only took around 10 minutes. The vet was very friendly and he and the tech did everything they could to keep my dog calm and comfortable while they examined him and administered shots. I would recommend Layton Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a good veterinarian!

Love a doctor Maxfield and the staff at Layton veterinary hospital. Been going to them for years and will continue to do so. Very professional and I never feel like they just want my money like some vets.

Some may think $140 was a lot of money for a simple answer from my wise and intelligent vet, but my expert friends were incorrect. I was ready to fumigate my home and go thru the process of eliminating fleas. Turns out the specks on his tail and the ripping out of fur by my cat, was a result of an inflamed/aggravated gland on the top of his tail. Oh, and part of that charge was for the medical soap, that only needed one application. Available appointment slot, accurate diagnosis, accurate solution, my cat is cured, again, and I'm on to other things in life! Thanks, Dr Scott Maxfield.

The Layton Vet Hospital was by far the best vet clinic we have been to. They treated us wonderfully and were incredibly kind and considerate as we did get bad news. Dr. Fawcett was so careful and took the time to explain our options. We will continue to use this clinic for all of our animal needs.

For a new puppy mama, these guys are friendly and really informational. I appreciated the info. They gave me a quote for her spay so I can prepare. During the exam, they were very kind and treated my puppy so great that I bet she will be happy to go back!

Showed up 15 mins early as requested. Had to stay in the truck with the pups because of covid. I dont have the best air conditioning Filled out paperwork and than waited 45 mins. nobody came out to give me a timeline or help in any way. Watched three other individuals show up and get seen. I waited a week for the appointment. I do not recommend this place. Absolutely horrible service.

We have been with Layton Vet Hospital for 20 years. Dr. Fawcett and his team are the most friendly, compassionate, professional people we could ask for. We truly feel like family when we are there. We recently had to put down our 14 year old dog which is the hardest thing you ever visit a vet for. I cannot express how grateful our family was to have Dr. Fawcett, SynDee and the rest of the staff to take care of our sweet fur baby and our family. We are forever grateful. You couldn’t find a better vet! To add to our experience, our puppy recently had a reaction to her vaccination. We didn’t know that’s what it was. When I called at 8:30 am in a panic they did not send me to the emergency vet, but had me come right in. They knew exactly what was going on and had her taken care of in less than 15 minutes. I just love these guys so much!

I LOVE Layton Veterinary Hospital! My dog is diabetic and they take awesome care of her. Dr. Fawcett actually listens to concerns and put her on the right medications, now she is a different dog. She is happy again. Their prices are so affordable. The staff is is phenomenal. Keep up the good work ????

The person behind the desk was rude and blunt about how should wait in the car. But I was happy with the care my pet got.

I took both my cats and my dog at the same time and the vet and vet techs were absolutely great! I'm new to the area, and I learned a lot about what my animals would be faced with in this area and how to best protect them from the troubles they would have here in UT. Thanks again!

Scott and his team are phenomenal. I can count in the highest level of care every time I take my dog(s) in. They are a group of individuals that WANT to care for your family members. I would trust them with any issue that arose.
