I usually don’t write posts but Nancy and Monica are awesome!!! Adobe animal clinic has been our vet for decades and has always taken great care of our animals. They are professional, knowledgeable, and care for your animal as if it were their pet. Recently Nancy and Monica went above and beyond to care for our lil guy Charlie ( our dog). I would highly recommend them to anyone who has furry lil family members that need excellent care. Thank you to Nancy and Monica.

Most amazing vet! They treat my cats with love and dignity and I can trust them to do the right thing. I will always choose Adobe for all my fur babies needs!!!

I have been bringing my animals to Cortez Adobe Animal Hospital for many years. (more than 20). Nancy Wegner, the vet, and her staff are beyond competent, friendly knowledgeable and helpful. I can’t think of anyone else to take for my pets care.

They did not give any directions for new covid procedures and treated me poorly for not knowing what to do

Very accommodating. Despite myself being a worried, kinda b*tchy, demanding fur mom, they made time in their schedule for my pup as fast as they could and took great care of him. They were very professional and I feel like my pup got excellent care from them. I'm not from the area and they took him right in as a new patient. They helped make what turned into a stressful vacation more relaxing knowing my pup was looked after. Thank you!!!

I Was doing some work with strays through for pets sake. Not only was the lady rough with the animal by throwing the cage onto the concrete from hips height but she was also very rude.

I switched vet clinics recently because I was not happy with the "care more for the dollar than for my dog" approach at another clinic. I took both my dogs to Cortez Adobe for check-ups and possible ear infections recently and was treated kindly and professionally. The doc (Nancy) showed me how to clean and medicate their ears, and then a few weeks later I took them back and she informed me that they are looking great. No surgery needed?! What?? I understand that dogs will sometimes need that next level care(x-rays, surgery, etc.), but when that is the first thing mentioned and then you receive an email to defend the hundreds of dollars that could have been spent (when all the pup needed was some rest) with no question about how my dog was doing...well, I'm out. Thank you to Nancy and Monica at Cortez Adobe Animal Hospital for your time, your professionalism, and your concern for my dogs. Your place was recommended by a friend and I will be singing your praises to all who have pets (I just sent someone your way from the dog park after our visit today). Cheers!

I have trusted my pets to the care of Cortez Adobe for more than 20 years. Through the years each one of my dogs has received expert attention and treatment. My cat too. Dr. Wegner calls to find out how we're doing after a visit and the staff are friendly and super-supportive. When looking for a veterinarian, I look for an experienced doctor who will treat me and my pets with dignity and the most up-to-date options of medical care. I have not had to look for a veterinarian for quite a long time. I have a great one.

the fine folk at Cortez Adobe recently took on my rescue dog as a new patient, and they are fabulous! they took care of her itchy ear, showed me how to wash and clean them, and reviewed her shot record meticulously for any needed shots. they were super-gentle with her (she is a bit skittish, especially of new people) and treated her with very thoughtful care. i'm new in town and so glad to have found an excellent and caring vet! (you can see from the pic that Kara's feeling much better now)

My experience was top notch. Will absolutely be going back. They got me in the same day on a cut that my Rottweiler had gotten. They were quick and precessional. The sutures look great and it’s healing well! The pup was happy as ever leaving there and hasn’t looked back since! They have since called to check up and make sure alls well! And.... Best part is it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to get my pup the care she needed. These guys are great!

Great place! They always take great care of my dog and are very warm and understanding. They always have your pet’s interest in mind! They do amazing work!

I called because my puppy was having serious issues. He couldn't drink or eat and was VERY lethargic. I was told they were not accepting new patients at this time. Ok, fine but this was an emergency, and I was willing to pay. I am so disappointed and will not try to call again nor will I refer anyone to call. However, I am beyond grateful to Vibrant for going out of their way and responding to this EMERGENCY.

Dr. Wegner and her staff have taken such wonderful care of my dogs. I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in. Dr. Wegner gives great explanation of what’s going on, goes over my available options and elaborates the process and outcome of each option. I am very pleased with my several visits here. My dogs are very important to me, and I only want the best care for them. Cortez Adobe provides excellent and genuine care as well as affordable services. Thank you Dr. Wegner and staff! While working around Covid limitations, the staff and vet did a really great job of helping our little dog. Our regular vet couldn't get us in for over a week and and Cortez Adobe Animal Hosp squeezed us in. We HUGELY appreciate their care and concern ! .... and will likely become our new regular vet.

I have taken my animals here for over the last 7 years and they are awesome and I would highly recommend taking your animals here . They care for your animal like it’s theirs. Anytime I’ve ever had issues and need to bring my animals in they have always got me in ASAP and taken care of any issues . I will always take my animals here ,They are a better veterinarian than any place in Farmington and Cortez. Well worth the Hour drive one way to bring my animals Because I know in the end they are in good hands. Also The receptionist Is awesome! Very knowledgeable.

I have to agree with the review below. Don't go to this vet. They truly do not care about your animal. They will not inform you of their COVID procedures prior to your arrival. You won't even be allowed to see the vet, only speak with her over the phone with a horrible connection. Frankly, I'm not quite sure that the 'vet' was even in the building in the first place. I think the vet tech did everything, then had the vet call from somewhere else. When I got home, I realized that the medication I was given for my dog even had some other customers name/information/dog on it. These people are crooks. They only care about getting all the money they can squeeze out of you. Do yourself, and your pet a favor and find another clinic that actually cares about your animal(s). This clinic's response is also inaccurate. Trust me, they do not care about you or your pet.

We geatly appreciate the outstanding staff and care, and in particular, their “curbside service” to take care of our fur baby during this time of quarantine. THANK YOU CORTEZ ADOBE ANIMAL HOSPITAL!

Adobe Animal Hospital has provided excellent health care for our dog. Dr. Nancy and her staff has treated her like she was one of their own pets. Everything that was provided was explained to us simply and concisely without any pressure. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have a system in place to protect their staff and the pet owners alike without sacrificing the human element.

Dr. Wegner and her staff are amazing! We have gone to Dr. Wegner several times before with our cat and they were always so kind and helpful, even though he hated going to the vet and was quite difficult during visits. We recently adopted an Australian Shepherd puppy, and booked him an appointment for a check up and his vaccines. Due to the current Covid restrictions, I was unable to go in the office with him, but I was completely at ease handing him over to Dr. Wegner. Dr. Wegner was very open and informative about what she was going to do with him and gave me a full update once she was done. She was very knowledgeable and even gave me information about what to look out for specifically regarding my puppy's breed. I had a ton of questions and she was so kind in answering all of them and put my dog-mom mind at ease. Their pricing is also great compared to other veterinarians I've been to, and Dr. Wegner has never pushed any procedures that were not absolutely necessary and is very transparent regarding all of the options for pet care. I would highly recommend Cortez Adobe for the best quality care!

We were very happy with the care of cat received from Adobe Animal Hospital when he was seen during the pandemic. We are seniors and really debated about exposing ourselves. Their safety precautions were very good, and we did not even go in with our pet. They handled him with care and were professional and courteous. We felt like they listened and appreciated our input regarding his symptoms. They offered what could be done and let us make the decision, with respect to our current finances. We will continue to take our pets there for their care. Thanks to Dr. Wegner and all the staff!

I had to arrange for a friends dog to get his shots and be neutered and they were great. I live 1500 miles away from my friend and his dog live in Cortez. Monica made the whole process so easy from scheduling to my multiple phone calls to payment from afar. Thanks to all of you.

The staff here is amazing! I showed up close to lunchtime with my dog that had a pretty bad cut on his leg. They took photos and sent communication to Dr. Wegner, who then made room for him immediately. They got his leg stapled up and he was back in business. I have a lab and they do not stay still for long. The communication since the visit has been great. They have called to check on him multiple times, and we are scheduled soon to have the staples removed. Thanks again for taking care of our family.

What would you do after expressing your concern that you can't be with your pets, your baby's even, while the Vet does the examination, and you are told by the receptionist in an exasperated tone "Its just a pet"? Do you just say OK? Or do you seriously reconsider working with a group that has zero empathy for you and your pets? There is a whole lot of things that went wrong with this visit, lets visit the highlights. 1. Not informed of the expected Covid procedures in advance of showing up as new clients. 2. Lacking any empathy for the customer or the customers situation. 3. Lacking options at the time we went ahead with the ridiculous procedures because we needed a health check up for our pets. The clinic promptly decided that this wasn't a good match up and returned our pets to us and told us there were plenty of other places to take them too. Spoilers, at the time, NO there were not. I have NEVER encountered this lack of civility or professionalism in any other of the many veterinarian's I have visited over the years. The only thing I can think from the positive reviews on this site is that this clinic is just fine with dogs but must hate cats for some reason. That's it, otherwise the negative review pretty much some up how we feel. DON'T GOTO THIS CLINIC. Find someone else. I think you'll be better off for it.

I had the pleasure of bringing my dog and cat to Adobe Animal Hospital for their checkups. I spoke with Monica when I was making the appointment and she was extremely nice and incredible to work with over the phone. I was able to book an appointment quickly and get everything taken care of much easier than I am used to. I also spoke with Nancy when I arrived and she was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I now bring my animals there for anything and always have an amazing experience without any worries. My animals are also in a great mood when I pick them up which is a surprise since that hasn't been the case in the past.

We were treated like family. Our dogs are more than pets to my wife and I! Everyone at Cortez Adobe made sure that we were comfortable and well informed. Thanks again!! You guys are the greatest!

We love Cortez Adobe Animal Hospital! Always very professional but friendly. Very clean. Most of all our fur babies love the staff and that’s all that matters. We know they are being loved when we take them in. ❤️

I love the Cortez Adobe Animal Clinic and so does my dog. Any time we have to take him there he runs up to the door wagging his tail and can’t wait to go inside where he knows he will be treated with love. They take such care in whatever animal they are treating and take their time explaining what they’re seeing and how to treat and care for your pet. With my experiences at Adobe I can’t see myself taking my dog anywhere else. I’m sure you will find the same love and care they give and show with whatever kind of pet you have. Therefore I would highly recommend Adobe to all pet owners.
