Color Country Aussies Cedar City, Utah

I got my first dog from Color Country, Aussies, a few months ago. A beautiful little fellow that I named Dash. He's a good boy for the most part. He has taken to training well, and he loves people and other dogs. I mean, love, loves, LOVES people and dogs. He wants to say hi to everyone. What I didn't expect, and what impressed me most, was the level of care he received from Color Country Aussies. I could sense that they truly love their dogs and have invested a lot of time into them. He was up-to-date on his vaccines, he was in good health, and they prepared me on what I need to do to keep him healthy. I was expecting to just simply buy a dog, I got goodies and a tutorial, and you can just tell he was a loved pup while up there in Cedar City. They clearly want what is best for the dogs and endeavor to deliver it. We've had the usual puppy behavioral problems of nipping and barking, but once I got him into training and socialized, those problems have lessened, but he is still a work in progress, but I have doubt he will be a great dog when all is said and done. But overall, he's a very sweet boy, and I'm very grateful that I used Color Country Aussies.

While we absolutely love our little boy we paid a lot of money to get a toy Aussie as that is the size that would best fit our lifestyle. At 5 1/2 months he is 16” and weighs 20 lbs. Not exactly a Toy Aussie. At this point I’m not even sure he willl be a mini.

They were great at first. Answered questioned, although seemed annoyed by being questioned. I made it clear through emails and phone conversations that we wanted a mini not a toy. She even let me switch last minute to another puppy she was confident would be the size we wanted. I emailed after a vet visit that our pup had a subluxation of his knee cap and was typically heredity( something he may not grow out of which will cause pain and possibly surgery ) I asked for advice or experience on the matter 3x with NO response at all. Also our mini is a toy -5 months now and only 10 lbs and the vet say he will not get much bigger. We wanted a companion for our other dog that could keep up running and wrestling. They have bonded so we would not give him back at this point which is the only resolution they offer on their contract. I would say they care till they get your money

Our sweetheart Hanalei is now 8 months old, so happy & healthy, she just gets more beautiful every day. In early September 2020, at 9-1/2 weeks old, we met her & the pet nanny at the local airport. Hana literally reached up out of the travel crate, wagging her little wiggle-rump like crazy, happy to be received into the arms of my 12-year-old daughter, at first sight! She had obviously already started potty training, and crate training, which was awesome. Over the next couple months, we introduced her to as many people as possible to get her (even more) socialized. Once her shots were all finished, she was introduced to many other dogs & pets for the same reasons. She loves people. If she sees a stranger coming down the sidewalk, she is eager to say hello. She loves to play with other dogs, and I think her favorite game is to block their access to affection from her "people", or is her favorite game "tug"? or is it "obstacle course"? She is motivated by food for sure, so training is easy. She's smart, communicative, strong & gorgeous :) Yes. We will buy from Color Country again.

This picture tells you everything! Ruby is such a balanced dog in so many ways. Many breeders forget about the personality & go straight for "looks." Color Country covers sound health, great personalities, & the look beyond what I have seen with many other Aussies. As a Certified Dog Trainer, I highly recommend this breeder! And BTW, I personally do not use Yelp in my own business because of the horrific, jealous people that go on there & gang up to destroy people's livelihood! I have seen it too many times with other business owners & I prefer to not use it at all. Trust me, this breeder is Top-Notch!

This was our first experience working with a breeder. All of our other pups have come from shelters, so we were pretty apprehensive about what to expect and had a lot of questions along the way. Keisha was awesome to work with, she was responsive to all of our messages and questions. We live in NY and we weren't sure what to expect when picking out a pup before even meeting her, but Keisha answered all our questions about the pups personality and temperament. She really eased our worries and it was obvious she knows all her dogs personally and is very passionate about what she does. We met our pup at the airport with a licensed transporter and she was just perfect! She was clean and calm. Even after a few weeks adjusting to her new home, our pup is just as sweet and smart as Keisha said she would be. I would definitely recommend Color Country Aussies to anyone!

I typically don’t leave reviews often, but both me and my husband felt like we wanted to come on here and share our experience with Keisha and Color Country Aussies. We’ve had our mini Aussie, Nova, for just over a month now and she’s been incredible. Healthy, cute, and extremely smart. I looked at a ton of breeders and Keisha knows what she’s doing. Nova has such an incredible temperament and has been such a joy to have. I would definitely work with Color Country Aussies again and recommend them to everyone who asks about Nova.

Selah is such a wonderful puppy! Beautiful and smart! She is half angel and half Tasmanian devil (she has a scary voice when she is playing with her new sister). She is so smart, she lets us know she needs to go out when she is in her crate for the night. She refuses to potty in her bed and becomes very vocal as her need increases.
