On the Spot Pet Care American Fork, Utah

Took my Portuguese Water Dog pup here for the first time for doggie daycare and was very impressed right off with how kind the employees are! The check-in process was quick and easy. It was comforting to be able to rely on someone experienced to watch my pup when I was in a bind. I loved that he was able to socialize with so many different breeds under the careful watch of employees. It was reassuring upon picking my puppy up that he had been well taken care of during the day (bonus that he was well tuckered out after playing all day!). Next time I need a dog sister I’ll be using On the Spot Pet Care!

After my third visit I think I will make them my permanent veterinarian. very professional. They treat your a little guy as the little client they should be. Me and Riley are going to get pet insurance before our next visit though.????

This was great place to take your pet. They took good care of my cat. Even left me a report card and a note of how he was doing every day. I would highly recommend this place.

They treat Duke like royalty

This place is super easy to access if you’re in the PG area. My dog seems to love it, they’re pretty friendly, and offer a lot of shade.

Our dog always comes back exhausted, he plays so hard! I love that they give a daily report card, it's nice knowing that they love and care for our pup as much as we do.

I've got a year old GSP. We have used On The Spot several times and have been very happy every time. My dog is always excited when we get there which tells me he likes it.

One of the best dog care facilities I have experienced. Friendly & professional staff and top notch infrastructure for the dogs to exercise and play. Website functionality is the best I have seen.

We’ve left our dog here quite a few times and have been impressed. The dogs are able to play outside where there’s shade and are not kept in crates. They write a little note about what happened each day. Our dog hates being alone and seems to be happy here.

My Sasha rose loves loves loves doggy day care at One the Spot.. we have also boarded her for a week and I think she thinks she's on vacation too! Sasha and I highly recommend !!!

They use to do a good job but their customer service has gone downhill (My last experience I got there before they opened and a young kid pulled up at the same time he pointed out very rudely that they weren’t open yet) and also soap has been left in my dogs belly fur the last 2 times. I walk out of there paying $100 with the tip for my dog so it’s hard for me to be ok with first an employee being rude and then the soap not being washed out on here belly.

As a former employee here I could say a lot about this place. I think the outdoor boarding and daycare is a wonderful idea it just wasn’t executed properly due to poor decision making. All I will say is, if you love your pet, don’t take them to On The Spot. Edit: If you can’t tell already by all the replies to negative comments; Lori will say anything to make it seem like these reviewers are liars or have some sort of vendetta. I left this review because I saw first hand how poorly many things were handled. Lori’s passion isn’t for animals it’s for money. Your furry companions deserve better. Not even to mention that I quit. As for using the services, I have brought my own pet before and based on that experience and my knowledge of what goes on, I will never bring them back. I find it funny that you mentioned a “safe environment.” Considering the condition of the building you might want to find someone else who can provide that for you since you can’t.

The dogs are kept in by chain link fences and unfortunately my dog can climb them (did not know that my dog could climb fences prior to taking him). They told me he climbed out not once but twice during his day there. So be aware that the fences are climbable.

They always do a great job with my fur babies!

They are in a convenient location for me so I took my dog here for grooming but they did a hack job on his ears. I feel like a trim doesnt mean cut his ears off and stay true to the breed you are doing. Shihtzu should have ears that hang down somewhat and the hack job wasn’t even on both ears so he looks extra goofy. I would like to know who is good here because I was not happy with the results.

Not sure if this place knows how to cut ears on most dogs. The ears aren't even and it will take months for my dog to have ears that look normal again ????

We came to Zion with our dog, Pepper, but the Airbnb didn’t allow dogs so we boarded her at On the Spot. Our dog is pretty complicated and they were SO accommodating and understanding. They even stayed open late for us to drop her off when an accident on the highway delayed our travels. They were first class, would highly recommend their services and expertise for any type of dog. What relief they gave us! Thanks On the Spot!

This is a great place to bring your dogs! My dog has alot of fun here and comes home clean and well exercised every time he boards here. The owner is friendly and genuine. The staff does a great job-they have even taught Max how to sit and stay until his name is called! I recommend On the Spot to any dog owner.

Well I take our two Yorkies I do pretty good job most the time are you point out the mistakes that's a good place to go get your haircut recommended.

Can't board medium to large dogs.

I love bringing my dogs here to be groomed. Their groomers do an excellent job and genuinely care about your dogs and their wellness. They are timely with their grooming too. Nothing better than being able to pick up your dogs at an appointed time.

Disgusted by the gross NEGLIGENCE! My dog was RETURNED EMACIATED AND SICK after board my dog for 10 days. I chose On the Spot because I had used them for half day dog daycare while at school. I gave them detailed instructions on feeding along with a plastic cup with a 'fill to' line in the bag of dog food. When I returned to pick her up she was so emaciated I could see every vertebrae in her back. The bag of dog food had barely been touched. I took my normally 60lb dog to the vet the next day and she had lost 8lbs in the 10 days she was at On the Spot. Furthermore, during her half day visits she would return home so thirsty she would drink a gallon of water at once. It is my belief they limit food and water to cut down on having to clean dog waste. WE WILL NEVER BE RETURNING AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TRUSTING THIS BUSINESS WITH YOUR CHERISHED FAMILY MEMBER!

Great place for any size dog. The groomer here is the best!

My husband and I want to thank On the Spot for taking such great care of our little guy Pepe. They really took extra effort to get to know him and all of his little quirks. He is a strange dog that we adopted late in his life. They were patient and kind to him and to us! We were very impressed with the manager and staff, They have obviously been highly trained and are very knowledgeable about dog behaviors. They clearly love and care for all for the pets in they have there! Thanks for all you do for people and their pets On the Spot!

Somewhere along the line they stopped doing grooming and is just a day care? I have brought my dog for over 3 years, just for her yearly grooming for summer. They were booked a month out, but I waited and did it. They did a fantastic job! I do love them because they dont cage their animals which my dog does better that way. But I felt like they said if I don't routinely get her groomed then I cant come here. They want regulars were you get groomed every 12 weeks or sooner. My dog has never needed that much. She definitely isnt a show dog and is just our emotional support dog for me and my girls since my divorce. So I might have to find a new place to groom her.

I called them on Wednesday and they weren’t able too get out new little Harley in to get trimmed for 6 weeks. I asked them to put me on the cancellation list and they called me back 10 min. later. I wanted him to have a good experience for his 1st time. A bad experience can really scar a puppy where grooming is a necessity for a Yorkie. Lori and her staff have always done a great job, a little hard to get into sometimes. Especially in the summer. But my dogs have always had great experience’s with her and her staff. Thanks guy’s Harley looked great!

Great place to get our dog groomed! Always do a great job and reasonably priced! Only drawback is there is usually a pretty long wait to get in.

We prepaid for some services with On the Spot Pet Care but before we could use them, our dog passed away. The team issued us a full refund and was incredibly empathetic and supportive. Our dog loved his time here -- this is a great place. Thanks again.
