I took my dog, Panda to this vet. They were really helpful and they were so nice to panda, who was really shy and a bit nervous. It made me a bit nervous when they took panda to the back, and I couldn't be there to watch the examination. The lady at the desk was so patient with me when my bank decided to lock my card for some reason. Thank you so much. I'll definitely will be back. :) The vet took the time to answer questions, and share their findings and recommendations.

Open on Sundays but don't have vets staffed on Sundays so they can't help. Don't bother calling if you actually need a vet on Sunday.

No trust for the owner and your opinion and experience. My dog needs special care, of our 16 dogs she is the ONLY one needing this care, I know dogs especially mine! Now that they have a new vet in house, they want us to come in and do the same thing the previous vet already did, do you not read charts, can you not trust the previous one that tried the same tricks you are going to? I Have records from our vet in another state and a letter, they have the records from when we saw Thrive last year. I asked to speak to the technician or vet and all I got was the call center woman going between us relaying, beyond frustrating! Off to find a new vet! ????

Found a wounded kitten near this place, so I called for help. I spoke to "Loyd" on the phone.... to try to get help. Loyd could care less. Offered no help, no suggestions. Just kept saying I should have made an appointment. WHAT?! I'll never bring my animals here!

The tech that took my anxious and reactive dog back refused to give him any time to calm time before refusing to treat him. Won't be coming back again.

I recently moved to the area and brought my dog here for yearly vaccinations because we have been to other Thrive locations in the past. The staff at the Watauga location made the experience so positive for both me and my dog! I have a German Shepherd that tends to be a bit anxious and feels over stimulated in public spaces and this staff made us feel so comfortable and were so accommodating and mindful to create a calm environment where my dog was happy and comfortable the whole time. This location is a little bit far from my house but worth the drive for me and I will definitely be returning here for all of my pet's veterinary needs!

We took our pup havanese poodle to this vet! Every one was super nice and friendly. They gave her, her shots and was so gentle with her. I also got a nice trim and nails clipping on the house we appreciate the staff here. Thank you for caring for our puppy

They really do consider the little things. When I took my cat in for an unusual swelling in his ear the first thing one of the kind ladies there did was place a cover over the examination table for comfort.

First couple of visits went great, felt listened to. Last time I took my cat the vet didn't even talk to me about test results. The vet tech didn't seem to understand them other than to say what the vet recommended. They also sent me home with a kit to get a urine sample myself. I cannot get my cat to pee in the nonabsorbent litter so I called today and they told me no one will be in until Friday to call me back. UPDATE - Got a call from the medical director and he explained that they are currently understaffed across DFW. He also took the time to explain the test results to me and his personal recommendations which helped me feel better. Still waiting on a couple more updates but I like the communication I'm getting now.

We had an appointment set with this facility for Tuesday; however, I called them on twice on Sunday, twice on Monday because although our cat was still drinking water, she had stopped eating and was throwing up. I attempted to ask simple questions such as “are you able to perform surgery if needed, are you able to do blood tests, and are you able to do X-rays?” All the person would say is “You said that the cat is throwing up. We considered that an emergency, take it somewhere else.” The person that I spoke to today said that they had the necessary equipment to treat our cat & did I want to keep the appointment- hello, no, she is being treated somewhere else because your representative previously said “take it somewhere else”….so cancel today’s appointment for our cat.

First visit here was amazing. Brought my kitten in over a week ago to get her first check up. Dr. And everyone was very nice and informative. Dr. Told me that she would be ready to have her first round of vaccines when she is 6-8 weeks old. She is currently 7 weeks. I scheduled an appointment for yesterday and when I got there to check in they told me she has to be Atleast 8 weeks old, This was a different doctor that would be seeing her. Very frustrating that I was told different and even petco’s website says 6 weeks for first round of vaccines.

I’ve been taking my girl here since she was a pup, she’s 10 months now. They always are SO good to her, always super informative, and are so kind! My girl and i LOVE thrive and will continue to use them.

New to the area and was worried about finding a new vet for my furbabies. So glad we came here first! This was our first check up since the pandemic. I was worried about how impersonal it would be but Dr was great. Very detailed phone conversation at the end. I didn't feel rushed at all and understood everything I needed to do for them. Found our forever vet!

I wish I live closer I’ll definitely bring back my puppy. Everyone was very nice, and kind enough to take care my baby. After being in traffic for over an hr on 635 I was running late. Thank you so much

These were THE nicest veterinary technicians I have yet to meet at a vet clinic to date. They answered all of my questions, eased my worries when dropping my dog off, and gave me adequate treatment for my dogs condition. I appreciate you all!
