We would like to thank Fuzzy Friends Rescue. We have been looking for a dog for 6 months for our Dad. Then we found Fuzzy Friends on the internet. When we got there we were greated with the most friendliest staff. We found the perfect dog with Ember. The staff was very helpfull with the adoption and helping us find the right dog for my Dad. I would highly recommend the Fuzzy Friends Resue to anyone that is looking for their fur baby. Thank you for all of your assistance.

So a disabled vet that recently lost his wife was turned away from this facility because he doesn't have a veterinarian record for the last two years. Well he hasn't had a dog in over 10 years so why would he have a veterinarian if he didnt have a dog? Such a waste of time, DEFINITELY AVOID THIS PLACE

Found our new furbaby here at Fuzzy Friends! Beautiful facility with caring and loving staff interested in finding loving forever homes for their charges. Terry helped us find and adopt our sweet girl Sunny (formerly Sally)!! And Cindy was super helpful with kennel habits and feeding tips!! Awesome rescue facility in Waco!!!

Fuzzy Friends is awesome!!!! I was allowed to visit with several dogs as long as I needed!!! The person who helped us was named Terry and she was absolutely the best!!!!! This is the second time I have adopted from fuzzy Friends this time was as good as the last time 11 years ago!!!

Very friendly staff. Animals options are great, animals seem to be well taken care of and ready for there new homes. Highly recommend this place over pet stores. Not so fun fact but most pet stores have puppy mill pets. So rescue a pet from a shelter ❤️

Wonderful place! Personal are terrific! Private rooms to get to know the dogs on a personal level. Just wish you could adopt puppies younger than 4 months. You can tell that these animals are well cared for and loved.

Update: After speaking with the founder of the rescue, I understand more now about what happened. She agreed that the way in which things were handled would leave me feeling this way, and was very kind and apologetic. Hopefully this will help dealings with others in the future so that no one else goes through this! Communication and transparency are important and she seemed committed to ensure the staff there understands that as well. Very disappointed with this place. I contacted them about a certain puppy, and was promised, in writing, that when this pup was ready I could adopt her. I even spent almost 2 hours there visiting her with my current dog, my mom, and her dog. Everything was great, then when we left started getting phone calls about all these physical problems (none of which were exhibited while we were there) and that they didn't know when/if this pup would be available. None of these "problems" were mentioned while we were there? What was the change?? I've no doubt they decided to promise the dog to someone else and were trying to get me to back out. When I didn't, they never contacted me again as they promised they would. Don't deal with this place if you want honesty and fair treatment! You won't get it here.

Over the past 9 yrs I have worked closely with Betsy and all the wonderful staff at Fuzzy Friends Rescue. Not only are they hard working and dedicated in saving lives, they care about the people wanting to Adopt as much as the animals. The facility is clean and inviting and the care these animals receive is unsurpassed. They take pride on placing each animals into the right home so both the owner will be happy as well as the animal. They take saving lives very seriously and dedicate each day to giving these lost and abandoned sweet souls the new life they deserve. You can’t find a better place to find your new best friend. In my opinion they are the best and every dollar you donate to them you can be sure will be used to save a lost soul in need. I always laugh and say that if i come back as a dog , please take me to Fuzzy Friends Rescue. McLennan County is so fortunate to have such a wonderful No Kill Facilty. Thank you Fuzzy Friends for all that you do to save lives. You are appreciated!

So we had a total of 3 dogs including the 2 dogs that we adopted from fuzzy friends and was looking to adopt another after our 3rd dog dog died (he was over 15 years old). Due to large vet bills of trying to save my dog's life & the 2 surgeries for the other dog due to knee problems, the vaccinations were a couple of months behind but we made an appointment to get the vaccinations done but the appointment was 2 weeks away. We put in an app for a new puppy and was verbally threatened by a staff member that they were going to take our dogs away and also sent this email to me, threatening to take my dogs away. I was looking forward to bringing my dogs in to show them how great they're doing for the meet and greet. Now we're terrified that they will try to take my dogs even though they will have their vaccinations up-to-date by that time which is 2 days from now. We will not be back & will adopt elsewhere. They never inquired about whether or not there was an appointment scheduled but decided to attack & threaten us verbally and through email. For what I was going to spend on just 1 dog there, I can save a total of 4 dogs at the humane society! They are overpriced to say the least & their dogs are incredibly skinny...skin & bones! I have added the email that was sent to me by them. This is unacceptable, unprofessional and incredibly insulting that rather than do their due diligence and ask a couple of simple questions, they would've seen that we had everything ready to go for their vaccinations and heartworm tests! This could've and should've been handled better but instead they went on the attack and threats without any evidence. I would strongly not recommend this place to anyone ever.

Wonderful place to go to get a fur baby just hate that you have to be 21 to even be considered as a possible person to let adopt

We were selected to adopt out Toby and drove 100 miles to pick him up. Callie met us and was very professional and helpful. It was love at 1st site when we saw Toby in person. They give you time to get to know the dog you want and let us bring our other dog to see how they got along. If I were to adopt again, I would choose Fuzzy Friends Rescue. Thank you for helping us get our little love.

this place is great, they seem to treat all of the animals very well and are so nice to work with. i highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a new pet or making a donation if you love animals.

Very disappointed in the application process. Submitted an application several weeks ago and no follow up at all. Called and found out that apparently because they couldn’t verify my vaccination records with my vet, my application wasn’t moving forward. But there was no effort to contact me to get more information. I guess the need for caring homes is low right now. I had 2 cats for 19+ years and was looking forward to starting a journey with a new kitten. I will be looking elsewhere. Please improve your customer service.

Fuzzy Friends was awesome!! They answered all my questions before my husband and I scheduled an appointment to go meet one of their adoptees. We meet our new addition to our family today and everyone at fuzzy friends were all extremely nice and informative. I appreciate them more than they know!!! I would recommend anyone to adopt or donate to them.

I have not yet adopted from here but just from looking at reviews and pics they look amazing and them being a no kill shelter really shows me they care for there rescues so when I do adopt I will definitely be coming here !

The best experience. Very clean environment with friendly staff. We were introduced our furbaby. He was clean, shots up to date and well groomed. The staff provided us with goodies to take home for our furbaby. Pleasant and friendly place

My husband and I adopted Sandy about 9 months ago. We are so happy she is a part of our family. Everyone at Fuzzy Friends is so kind and hardworking.

Adopted my best friend here in November 2017. Bear is the best dog anyone can ever ask for. I will forever be grateful to this place for giving me such a loving and loyal dog.

The people and the pups were wonderful but tooo much red tape to actually get a pup...im still looking?

The front of the house staff is not friendly. We went in to look at the dogs and to fill out an application. And we're not treated with kindness. My friend is 73 and looking for a pet to love. When we tried talking to them they were short with their answers and acted snobby. The back of the house staff was ok but still not what you would expect if you were going to pay $260 for a pet. We went to the humane society and was able to get a pet. The staff took their time while we played with the dog in the fenced in area and even packed us a goody bag of stuff for my friends new fur baby. I know fuzzy friends helps out the humane society but do you really have to be so unfriendly to people???
