Dr. Emerson is the best veterinarian in Waco as far as I'm concerned. We've been using him for many years now and will continue to use him until he retires completely. ????

Courteous, professional, and thorough. Medical charges are fair and they've always taken great care of our little ones.

These folks are hard working, helpful, friendly, and care provided is within our budget.

I can't rate on actual Veterinarian proficiency. I visited to get a feel of their office and costs. Very nice receptionist and willing to answer my questions. They have 3 vets so they are well covered. They are a small place and I am considering moving my pet's care to them. I like that they are a small business and have a good location in Waco.

I called to see if they would see my elder rabbit for a quality of life visit, with hardly any exotic vets in the area I was really hoping I could find help here. I explained my situation to the receptionist who told me the next appointment available was next week. With plans to try the emergency vet next, I asked her if I could book that appointment as a plan B. She then proceeded to ask me "you're going to make him suffer that long?". I've been trying my best to find a vet clinic who would my rabbit so he wouldn't suffer. Hearing that really felt like a slap in the face. Thankfully another clinic understood my situation and made arrangements to see my rabbit.

My cat was taken care of.

Most of the techs are really nice, and reasonably prices. I just started going to this vet and every time I call to make an appt, the receptionists is always so rude and acts as everyone knows nothing about animals. I will be going else where after this next appt..... one rude person can run away so many good clients. It really is a shame. It’s always the same lady that is very rude...

Very friendly and efficient. This was our first time at LAAH. My dog has been dealing with IBD for years, and it was time for her annual check up. I already knew what I wanted, complete blood work including a urinalysis and heartworm test, and a refill on her medications. Everything was done within an hour.

I have been taking my pets here for routine care since 2006. Prices have been reasonable, convenient location, etc. Last week, I found my dog severely injured and took her to the emergency clinic in town. They told me she had a hip break and dislocation but told me I was lucky that Lake Air Animal Hospital was my vet, because they would be best vet in town to handle this. They sent me home about 10 pm and told me to get to LAAH when they opened at 7:30 the following morning. I called them at 7:30 to let them know I was on the way and arrived at 7:45. A vet tech came outside and told me she couldn't help bc she has a bad back and I have a large dog. I offered to call a friend down the street to help but she explained we weren't allowed in building due to Covid and that I would have to wait for another employee to arrive. I waited about 20 minutes, (an employee arrived after about 10) and the vet tech came back and said I could be waiting up to an hour because their fax machine was down and they hadn't received my dog's xrays. I left and checked back in around 9; they assured me that I was still at the top of the list. They called back around 9:30 and said that while the doctor had not reviewed the xrays, they were not going to see my dog because they do not deal with broken hips. I explained that as my regular vet, I would still like him to see her and discuss treatment options and potential paths forward. The vet tech refused. I asked for a phone call with the doctor and she refused. She said he was busy and I asked to be called back later in the day. She told me he was not going to do that because he was busy and didn't want to and that her hands were tied. You can understand that I was beyond upset, as the is my vet of 14 years that accepts walk-ins, to be told that I can't be seen or have a brief phone call. I pleaded and begged and she coldly refused me. I returned only to get my pets' records and to tell them that I will absolutely never be back. All in all, LAAH doesn't care about your pets or about you as a pet owner, and it shows in a time of crisis. If you need a vet that actually likes humans or animals, try Cottonwood Creek.

Avian - highly recommend! My Avian friend was very very sick and most likely not going to make it but, to my great pleasure, the care and attention she got here saved her life. She is healthy and happy now. Thank you!!

The staff is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend them for sure.

Watched our burgers sit in the to go bags while they waited for fries and tarot tots to be cooked and bagged. Needless to say, the buns were soggy soaked goo when we got home 1/2 mile away. Dine in is always great. Taste is delish but something's gotta solve the ruined bun issue. I HATE wet bread.

Dr Emerson sold the clinic. Crystal is super friendly & efficient. The staff from the new owner's office is not as friendly. The prices seemed to go up & service went down.
