Amazing help. We have been having a rough time with a new puppy because of problems with constipation and other bowel issues. After 5 other vets, this is the FIRST place where we finally felt like we were getting help. The staff here helped us to be seen right away, and the veterinarian was amazing. She has been more helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive than the 5 other vets combined.

Do not waste time and money here. They will set you up on a plan and say they can cancel it. Then they will not cancel it and will find a way to continue to charge you even if you put a stop payment on them. If you call to resolve the issue, they will keep you on hold and never speak with you. It's a trash place who doesn't care about your animal. They just care about money.

Always a kind and detailed experience. They're very accommodating and willing to let me help out with my nervous baby girl. Going to the Vet is stressful, yet they always make me and my Trinity are safe and heard. The wait times can vary, mostly on the long side however I also recognize that I'm not the only person there. When they do get to me, they're very kind and generous. Never felt like I was an inconvenience for them and they always do their best to make my baby feel safe.

They have been wonderful. I took my puppy there and put him on the wellness plan and even as a pitbull, he was very loved and cared for every time I took him for shots and checkups. We had to put him down just recently at 14 years old because he couldn't use his back legs anymore, they took very good care of him his whole life

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!! Coming here was a horrible experience. The veterinarian here refused to see my dog who might have PARVOVIRUS (one of the most deadly viruses for dogs) just because I was 9 minutes late to my appointment. They did not warn me this was their policy over the phone, even though I told them several times this was my first time visiting their clinic (and that in other words, I would have no idea they had such a strict policy about showing up late) -they didn't think to warn me that even if I show up just 5 minutes late their policy is to reschedule the appointment! My dog has had horrible diarrhea for almost 72 hours, she could be on her death bed right now and they refused to see her - they weren't even busy! They said she only had one other dog she was attending to! No other vet in waco can see my dog today, and I told them have no other options but they still refused to see her. -Just because of 9 minutes. I cannot believe how ugly this experience was. The receptionist was sweet at least, and tried to apologize that the vet refused to see her. But I am never coming here ever EVER again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, somewhere where they are willing to extend their work day by 9 minutes if it means they can save a dog's life.

I went to get my dog shots, and I thought they were putting me on a payment plan for the shots. However, they put me on a wellness plan that cost me $52 every month. Then when I called to get taken off the plan, they just gave me a corporate number that keeps you on the plan until a year has gone by. I feel like if they can sign you up for a wellness plan at the hospital, they should be able to take you off of it there.

I used my free vet check up coupon from my PetSmart puppy package. I was excited to have my baby checked out. Instead I felt like I agreed to a sit through a time share presentation. I felt like a hostage dealing with the nurse. The nurse tried to hard sell us on all different types on treatments. Most of which my regular clinic offers for a fraction of the cost. The room they put us in wasn't clean before bringing us in. To be cautious we never sat down. They weighed my puppy incorrectly. They said she was 4lbs. She's actual 3.72lbs we found out her proper weight the following day at her regular clinic. Normally I wouldn't care about a simple oversight. However with small dogs these things matter. Certain treatments are dangerous for dogs less that 5lbs. My baby is chipped and up to date on her vaccines. When I scheduled my appointment I wasn't told to bring in her records. When the nurse questioned me on vaccines it seemed like she thought I was lying. She asked if I can prove it where's her records etc. etc.. The nurse called my regular clinic and get the records. She even verified I had an appointment the following day to get my puppy's last shot. I was slighted offended. Not enough to address it. The vet came in after what seemed like an eternity. I lost track of time dealing with the nurses high pressure sale tactics ????????‍♀️. At that point the nurse took my puppy. My puppy wasn't keen on being held, but she didn't put up a fight. I promptly received a lecture from the vet about the need to socialize my puppy. Had the vet asked I would can could have explained that I walk my puppy everyday through Cameron park. She receives at least 2hrs of socialization time daily. I take my responsibilities as a dog owner seriously. The vet WITHOUT my permission instructed the nurse to give my puppy a treat. I shut that down immediately. I've never introduce my puppy to low quality Kong spray cheese. I never intended to. The nurse promptly told the treat when I told her NO. At that point the vet chastised me. She told me a lot of what happens at the vet is painful and our pet need treats. At which point I reached into my pouch and handed my puppy a natural jerky chew that she loves and it's not coming from a cheap disgusting spray can. I understand some people think that's an acceptable treat. I want to give my puppy the best chance to have a healthy life so I always opt for natural high end for and treats. This has been the worst vet experience of my life. I want to get my puppy the rattle snake vaccine. I didn't even inquire if they have it. On principal I refused to give them my business. To end this on a positive note the the high pressure sales nurse was pleasant. Given the situation.

I don't know where to start! I have never felt more comfortable with a vet or vet hospital before. My poor Shih Tzu Ripley had a bad experience with ONE AND ONLY ONE groomer, and Banfield opened up their office and time for 3 days, too make sure that he was okay. Repeated phone calls from not only receptionist, but also the vets that took care of him. I would trust Banfield with ALL of Ripley's veterinarian needs.... Thank you Banfield...????❤️????

I called and asked if they can help me with a cat. That is from a colony of feral cats that I take care of and they told me I probably needed to go to the emergency clinic. That they couldn't help me. I don't know if it was because the time was about to be closing time or if it was cuz she's from a feral colony. But whatever the case is. I think that's sorry as hell.

Banfield has always been professional through out my 10+ years of being a wellness member and fur baby owner. But more than that, all employees take your feelings into consideration; treat your pets as their own; go above and beyond; and most importantly correct mistakes made with either you or your pet. They are worth the money and their wellness plan topples any insurance. I highly recommend any banfield, because the Waco, Denton, killeen and college station hospitals have all shown the same character and been there for so many of my pets first shots to end of life organizing. They even remember your soul babies as you do annually and all, always by name. My passion is theres and I'm lucky to have such a great team to work with. The hour drive is always worth it. Thank you Banfiled.

WORST EXPERIENCE for my pet Pom Teddy we have ever had! We went in for flea medication and the rude vet sold us on Heartworm medicine even though Teddy was negative. And then said that Teddy pro has baby worms in his heart and I need to test again in six months. The vet didn’t ask about the fleas and she was totally insensitive. Poor Teddy is now in pain with needless blood work done. I don’t understand how a veterinarian can be so insensitive and ruthless. She has no place working with animals. I will never go back! FYI: Heartworm has nothing to do with fleas because it is caused by a mosquito bite, not a flea bite. Apparently the cost of $250 included a full exam, but the vet of course didn’t let me know about anything else whereas I doubt Teddy was examined. Although he did have an odd odor when I received him back and his sweater can’t be worn again without washing it. This experience was so horrible, do yourself a favor and do not go to this place. On top of all this, my appointment was for 9:30 and Teddy wasn’t seen until almost 10. It seems like money is more important to these people than animals.

I've been with Banfield for the longest time, I moved from El Paso Tx Banfield to the one in Waco Tx. Strictly speaking about the one in Waco Tx, I would not recommend it at all, my dogs have been sick and when I call in to see if they can be seen that day they tell me the closest appointment available is in 3-4 days. My dogs are my babies if they are vomiting all over the place and dehydrated I want the attention I pay for that same day not days after. This has happened a couple of times. Lastly, when going through economic hardship I asked if I could do other types of payments for what I was left hours being transferred to different departments when they finally said that I could but it could damage my credit. So overall, vets are not bad but Banfield has grown so much that they do not have priorities straight I would recommend to just support local vets instead.

New vet put my 3lb Yorkie under anesthesia for teeth cleaning, started waking up then collapsed on the table, went into cardiac arrest and died. 4 years of this same routine with no issues until a different vet took over. Said they weren't going to send me the bill, got a bill, talked to two reps for Banfield that informed me I shouldn't have a bill. Now it's on my credit.

The staff and vet were considerate and loving to Bella for her first visit to a vet. She had blood drawn, but was not traumatized. In fact, she loves the blanket she received at the visit. Here is a picture.
