Starnes Animal Clinic Tyler, Texas

We moved to Tyler 18 months and found Starnes Animal Clinic. Very happy here. Have great knowledgeable experienced Vets!!! And the Vet techs are awesome at helping and caring for my 4 fur babies. And it’s easy in & easy out. Prices are fair & better than most in the area.

Always gentle and caring with my animals ...even in their passing...they are very compassionate with the owners who have just had to help their animals cross Rainbow Bridge.

I was amazed at how fast and efficient the staff was and getting my schnauzer in for an annual- even without an appt scheduled- they were busy with other clients but still got me in - awesome and super friendly staff

Yes the people are nice . But this vet charges crazy amount money there way over priced. I spent 25 dollars pre cat just to get a light turn on . I spent almost 400 dollars two weeks ago. Go back and spent almost 110 dollars just for a light to get turn on . 12 dollars just to cut a cats nails . Overall the place is nice just the prices is little to high

Took my dog in after a fight with 2 other dogs and they stitched her up. Never saw the vet as she was in surgery when I arrived and when I picked up my baby. They discovered she had a UTI so we are treating her for that too. Love their hours.. all day Saturday and Sunday afternoon, which kept me out of the emergency clinic. I give them 5 stars as the clinic appears to be professionally managed and the vets are knowledgeable. I will followup with them rather than my regular vet on the UTI.

I like this place. I must say the first time was better, Today i felt rushed out. But my kitty is healthy.

I absolutely love Dr Shirey. He is amazing and kind. He is not only knowledgable about animals but about the community he works in to. I have visited other vets when Starnes was booked up during an emergency and I must say that I have never had the excellent care anywhere else in Tyler like I get here at Starnes. The vet techs, receptionists, boarding personnel, doctor Shirey and just all the staff are great. I can’t love this place enough. My entire family has brought a total of 8 dogs over 15 years to this clinic utilizing all of their services and have not ever been disappointed. We loved Dr. Starnes and we love Dr Shirey too. Will never go anywhere else. Compassionate. Kind. Safe.

The staff here are AMAZING AND SO CARING!!! I called them two hours before they were closing and told them about my fur son Romeo ???? he wasn’t able to urinate still after talking him to his local vet and they told me to bring him in. I asked if it was a problem because I see they are closing soon and I live in Henderson! They said not a problem at all because they are concerned that his kidneys could rupture ???? It’s now one hour and thirty minutes after they have closed and they are still taking care of my poor Romeo. They didn’t care about it was closing time they truly are trying to figure out what is wrong and they are keeping me informed and updated constantly! They are a Godsend and I would recommend them over and over ????

Got the cat fixed and rabies shot...it was quick and painless well for me lol cat is doing good. They got us in and out in good time

Absolutely amazing. Had to drop my cat off to stay at starnes after going to the emergency vet and they took him right away. They called me at least twice a day while he was there which calmed me down tremendously. But it didnt stop there. After I picked him up, everytime I called to ask a question they always had an answer. I'll be taking all my pets here from now on. Allistaire and I really appreciate it. Thank yall so much!

I board my golden retriever here and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and my dog loves them!

I called this morning (at the end of TEC hours) after calling/ attempting to get in ASAP to 6 other vets including my primary for a minor (to me major) emergency with my dog and was told nothing was available from all of them. I was a blubbering mess by that point and even thought THEY DONT HAVE A CLUE WHO I AM, I couldn't even tell them who I was, they told me to head that way and they got me in instantly. Every person there was so sweet, they got history on her, did tests, and gave me answers. I will shout praises for Starnes from the roof tops and I will be using them from here on out. THANK YOU!

The staff at Starnes are relatable, professional, and take a true interest in pets. They helped us with through the loss of our Doberman with empathy and compassion, and they now provide care to our new puppy. We have used several different vets, but are now vested here because of the level of service. Prices are very reasonable.

I really like this vet clinic. The Vet was very good with my cats. All staff I encountered were friendly. The only negative is location but that's only because I despise Broadway. I highly recommend Starnes

I felt such a sweet atmosphere when I went to drop off my baby girl Luna the other day to get fixed. You can tell the people love the animals there. Thankyou for your business.

Update: they reached out to return my calls. Perhaps if they were planning to be out of the office then some.sort of answering machine message could have been created for potential customers. Either way, I appreciated their callback.

Brought a rescued dog here from 11th hour rescue and it was taken immediately taken in and treated immediately. The dog lost an ear but is doing very well and is planned on being set up for add option since he has a very gentle temperament. Thank you All at Starnes ! ❤️
