My wife has been taking Sophie here for a while. Finally was able to go and the experience was awesome! Dr Jon took care of our little girl and explained everything to us. The young man assistant was fantastic as well! If you want fantastic service and great care for your pet come here!

Our baby was in there for 6 days with parvo and I called every day to check up on her and they were super nice and let me know how she was doing through the whole thing. My baby came out so much better and they were SOO affordable. I will continue to use this vet. Very great place to go to!

Dr. Marice is the best! He’s been our family vet for 35 years. He loves little dogs, and I’m sure big dogs and cats as well. He is the best diagnostician I’ve ever seen.

I've gone to Shelley Drive Animal Vet and Mike Maris for probably 30 years with my precious fur babies during that time. I can attest to the fact that Dr. Maris is the BEST.

Just took my dog Chubbs in for the first time emergency bone break. Our normal vet is Lindale but they were booked up. Shelley Drive Animal Clinic warned me that they were fully booked today, but to bring him in and they would try to work him in. Less than an hour later they had given him X-ray, gave me a very detailed run down of what was going on, and the wonderful staff (front desk, techs) all were so friendly. When I got done my bill was all under $250. I was shocked. Thank you so much Shelley Drive Animal Clinic for making a difficult time so much easier on us. Dr. Justin Twomey was amazing.

Front desk girl had know idea how a bulldog was bred. Never go again..

After battling extreme itchiness with our shih tzu for about a year, our previous vet said we would need to be referred to a dog dermatologist and it would be upwards of $1,000. I'm I'm glad we came here and got a second opinion. The vet basically said this breed is notorious for chronic skin allergies later in life. And we would probably need to keep him on apoquel. He increased the dose and no more itchiness!! We now have 2 other dogs and go here for everything. I only rated 4/5 because there is a long wait time for appointments (like a month out) which means they are great! Just a bit understaffed for how great they are haha.

My dog came down with parvo like symptoms and we immediately took him to Shelley drive vet. They took him right in, and had him all fixed up in a matter of three days! The last time I had a pup with parvo she was at another vet for 4 days at a cost of over $1800. She made it, but that vet wasn't nearly as nice and quite a bit more expensive. I will not be taking my animals anywhere else.

They don’t make vets like Dr. Maris anymore. He takes the time to explain and ask questions and is very conservative/fair priced.

I have used Shelley Drive Clinic for 20 yrs. I only trust this group with my fur babies...no one else!! They are the most caring staff, most professional in all of Tyler. If there are fully booked they will find a way to help. The Vets are by far the BEST. I recommend them to everyone.

I've been taking my dog here for 4 years and they have been great every time I've been. They're prices are very reasonable and the people are definitely animal lovers II drive 30 miles each way because of those qualities.

1st time I've been there but the staff and Dr. Carlson are very friendly, the facility was neat and clean. I took my cat in as a walk-in but it wasn't busy. I was invited to sit in the waiting room, waited less than 5minutes. Waited in the room less than 5 minutes for Dr. Carlson and then after he assessed my cat, we were taken care of and on our way in less than 20minutes. The fees for what my cat got done were less than expected! 5 STARS!!! ????????

The staff at Shelly Drive Animal Clinic staff are attentive to details and so helpful. I took one of my dogs to be seen on a Saturday. They saw us as an emergency because I was not a client. They helped me with my dog as I had my hands full with my adult special needs daughter (she had a mind of her own). My wonderful Catahoula dog passed away on their lunch hour. They were so compassionate and wonderful, carrying my baby to my truck. Will continue to take my critters for their needs and care. THANKS to all who work there.

In my experience by far the best Vet in east Texas, not only for the obvious reasons, nice capable vets and staff and fair pricing for services rendered. For me the intangible is the welcome omission of the hard sell shrouded in a facade of care and attention. Not fancy or pretentious just excellence.
