Petco Tyler, Texas

I love going to Petco and this is one of my favorite locations it's clean, super big, they have plenty of supplies, and lots of pets to choose from

Better options, more choices for bird supplies than PetSmart or Pet Supplies Plus. I have a parrot a Dog and a Cat and Petco is the best place for my needs.

Their worms, for our bearded dragon are pretty good quality and a really good price.

Not impressed. Dirty animal tanks, fish tanks were Dirty. Could not get help. We used to like going, now I don't know if we will be back!!

Such a great place to shop or even just look around with the family. It doesn't have an awful smell as in some pet stores. Great selection of pets & all your pet needs. They have things your pet need you can't find anywhere else. Also the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They are really knowledgeable about every pets needs. A+

This store had pros and cons, I'll cover both. First I want to make it clear that I came to get some live plants for my Betta's. I did look online first because I have to get someone to drive me over an hour to get there. (I'm disabled and can't drive and use a wheelchair. Online, they had everything I was looking g for. When I got to the store the "fish specialist" was filling a large order of various fish for a person and there was another person waiting to talk to him. Since I was going to have to wait I decided to scope out the plants so I could just point to what I wanted. I noticed that they didn't have what I wanted so I was going to have to see what I could use in its place. Pros: *Big store/a lot of product *Friendly "Fish Specialist" and pretty knowledgeable about fish *About 85% of the store is wheelchair friendly *Pretty clean store, except in the fish area *Good groomers I waited almost 45 minutes so I wheeled around the entire store. Cons: *Online inventory doesn't match store availability *Very slippery in the fish area, no wet signs. I watched 2 people slip. *They don't honor SOME Petco points reward cards????????‍♀️???? *Cashier was extremely rude *Sales associates don't have much knowledge about the pets they sell. Customers were getting false information. I watched a lady looking to buy a hamster ???? as the associate if they bite (it was being bought as a gift for an 8 year old). The associate said, "Oh no, our hamsters are all hand fed and hand raised, they don't bite at all!" She then reached into the cage and all of the hamsters scattered, scared for their lives. The lady decided not to buy one. I would recommend this store to those that can't find what they are looking for anywhere else, and you don't mind not getting your discount.

I have 3 dogs so petco is a necessity for my furry family. My husky gets groomed here and the groomers are always so helpful and nice. They truly care for my pup and she loves them for it.

Do not bring your pet here, brought our dog in for grooming and he was fine . They called and said something was wrong with him. Took him to the emergency room . They said he had a physical injury. We were bringing him to Petco for years. But now they said they do not know what happened. If you love your pet do not bring them there. Management has not answered any questions.

Every dept is easy to identify, no wait time on check out. In and Out was easy- peasy!

The fire skink I got died almost immediately.

Went in today to ask for some advice about my comet goldfish. Zach was in the aquatic department and was immediately willing and able to help me. I had a ton of questions, which he had no problem answering. He didn’t beat around the bush and gave me straight up advice. I currently have a gold and black comet goldfish who I thought was sick. Turns out he just needed a friend (in the picture) that Zach helped me pick out. Zach, you’re awesome at what you do! Thank you for being so helpful, polite and kind!

They have nice things there....they just seem over priced on some things.
