All I wanted was a vet to write a prescription for my pup, but since they don't sell this medication the Vet would not write it for me.

The staff is always kind and does a great job. Just be aware that they are NOT an emergency clinic and only take care of dogs & cats.

I can not say enough good things about this Veterinary Hospital. Even though our situation was a very sad one, our beloved 13 year, 4 legged family member was in a lot of pain and had to be put to his final sleep. From the initial phone call to make the appointment, to us walking in the door, we were treated with kindness and everyone just knew we, as a family, were grief stricken with the whole thought of letting go of our 'Rocky'. This doctors office even sent us a Sympathy card with seeds to plant in honor of 'Rocky'. That act alone shows the level of care and respect for our animals that is just not seen very often anymore. Again, even though our interaction was a sad situation, I can say with out a doubt, I would recommend this vet for any level of service based on our experience.

Ussually love this place !! But called To Have updated yearly immunizations for both dogs and quoted $224 for both and upon leaving customer in front had issue with her bill and asked for itemized reciept to look at discrepancies. I was Told $452 and that included diet food for Babe. I asked what had happened to $224 I was quoted amd she didn't know? No explanation, not a care in the world. "No sir it's $452." Not sure I'll be back

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with Veterinarians. The team here is very compassionate and truly dedicated to what they do. I really couldn't afford all the testing my kitty needed. The Vet simply just made up a different kind of care plan for my kitty. I never felt to "poor" or uncomfortable. Thank you all for the wonderful work you do!!!!!

I have actually never written a review before but this morning I took my dog who had HGE. He has unfortunately had it before so I knew what to expect. The initial examination was fine as she told me what she thought I told her my experience and what we have been dealing and then she told me her recommendation. The vet tech brought it in a very high bill of everything she recommended as we have been through this before and I remember what we had done prior with my vet of 6 years. I would never mind paying the money as I have many times if I thought it was for the best. I did feel like they try to get you to spend the most amount of money and do the most amount of tests on your animals. I asked for them to just get fluids and they wouldn’t do it without bloodwork which I understand and accept that. I asked for the blood work to make sure he wasn’t dehydrated which they told me to sit in the room for an hour until the bloodwork came back. I do feel as you are making these decisions the doctor should come back in. It’s very awkward as they give you this big vet bill and they go choose which ones you want to do. You ask questions and they vet tech has to go back and forth asking questions to the vet which it would be much more professional and show that you care if she came in and talked to you. As my dog has had this before I started medication that I had previously from this year and took away his food so he was no longer going to the bathroom. I asked if I could leave as I have a farm and live 10 minutes away while we wait for the bloodwork to process and needed to turn out of horses. I even offered to pay upfront. The vet tech who tried her best and went back and forth every time I had a question but I heard someone yell NO, nothing is done yet behind the door and no one came back for the hour until the bloodwork was finished. Yes I am aware nothing is done yet but nothing will be done for an hour until the bloodwork is finished. I truly wished I would have read the reviews before I came. I am looking for a more caring and family atomsphere and that’s not what I found here.

My kitty recently came in to the hospital with an urgent need for surgery. The staff greeted me with empathy and caring during that difficult time. They took care of my baby throughout the whole process as if he were one of their own with compassionate nursing care and quality service. They truly are dedicated to our fur babies just as much as we are.

Such a wonderful group or people, from the sweet ladies at the front desk, to the extremely knowledgeable techs who genuinely love all animals, to the amazing caring doctors that really want to help your animals and are so professional and amazing at their jobs. So grateful to have found this place. I wish that all vets could be like them.

I would absolutely 10/10 highly recommend this place. I have never been to a more thoughtful veterinarians office in my life. These people who work here make sure you completely understand everything that’s going on, give their 100% attention to you and your animal always! They take your concerns and make them their own which I think is something special. Everyone who we have seen here has treated us with the upmost respect and so much love for my baby haus. His Dr. is a blessing from god and she eases me everytime I go! Who’s dog do you know that gets excited to go to the vets office? Haus gets so excited he basically is crying in the room waiting for one of the ladies to give him loves. A big plus in my book is they don’t treat us weird because he’s a pitbull. They have all fallen in love with my baby like I am! I’ve had to come in here during covid when we’re all having money issues and they do give you options and also different treatment plans. They do not make you feel like a terrible pet owner for not being able to afford stuff and I think that’s just incredible. So I will always highly recommend this staff and office! Thank you guys so much!

Thought full, carrying and respectful. Had to put my family members down. Although not a good situation for any dog owner, they made it as easy as possible for us. What they did for us was above and beyond what they had to. They stayed open an hour later just so we could say our good byes. Gave us time and space and respectful for our feelings. Love y'all. Keep up the good work.

I brought my cat here because my vet was closed. Annie was not eating, her throat looked swollen and seemed sore. She was also sneezing. I wanted an injection of antibiotics and a pain shot. The Doctor told me she would not do a shot because the steroid in it causes diabetes. I said my vet does it and it quicker and easier for the animal and me. They wanted to test and treat a virus and a cold and ears with oral pain meds. That would be 4 meds to administer to a cat ”she’s not a child!” An injection would be easier for me and her. The virus med would have to be compounded at Glover’s pharmacy. Lots of money. I opted for the Oral antibiotic and pain med. I spent around $180. I tried to administer the meds to Annie and I was able to get the small pain one in then she snotted a lot out and I was able to have my husband help hold her now that she’s in pain with snot and I almost got 3/4 of the antibiotic dose in with a nice puncture wound on my arm. I thought it’ll be better in the morning with some meds in her. NOPE... neither my husband or me could hold her and now from stress snot is pour out. Back to VCA for 3 shots at another $222.00. Yes now I’ve spent more money. This doctor still said she wouldn’t give her a steroid..... okay but couldn’t we have saved me money by doing this yesterday having a sweet cat with a swollen, soar throat? I do not believe they are good steward of your time or money. I think this Vet is in the business of only making money. The staff are not pleasant either. I’m not sure if that’s normal or if it was personal to me because I ask a lot of questions and want to do what’s best for my animal and my pocket book especially during this time of inflation with my husband be unemployed and now working from home. I hope this helps others because I believe that they will make you feel that you MUST spend all of your money or your a bad pet owner. Post script Texas Litter Control is a great low cost place to get booster for your fur babies.

Rude staff - I speak perfect English - there is no “language barrier” here lady! I don’t even speak 1 word of Spanish! You just need to listen and stop interrupting me. I’ll take my business and pet elsewhere.

I brought a elderly sick cat here and all the staff were very nice. The doctor was very kind and sympathetic. She took a great amount of time addressing my concerns, and taking care of my cat. She diagnosed his various health problems and took the time to fully inform me and address all my questions in detail to my complete satisfaction. She and the staff took good care of my cat and he is much better now. I fully recommend this practice.
