Dr. Knapp is just awesome. She responds with the care and concern you'd want for your kids. I know how busy she is (I have weekly appointments) and yet she always makes time for her clients. I feel like she always wants to be available for "her" pets. (even though you just happen to own them ????). Thank you again Dr. Knapp for taking care of our boys. It's so comforting to have a vet that also competes in the same sport and knows exactly what you're talking about when you have a sports related issue. THANK YOU for fixing my boy! I went into this clinic because my doctor was in the hospital. They have gone overboard to help me with my situation. They have done more than I could honestly have expected. I highly, highly recommend this place. The staff from the receptionist to the doctors are all very caring and it is obvious.At this time I am considering switching from my old doctor to this place for my veterinary needs

My Dog & I have been using Veterans Memorial Drive Animal Hospital for over 14 years. He's as old as mud and just as slow, but they keep him ticking. Great doctors and staff. I would definitely recommend them for your pet.

I don't know about my dogs, but I had a good time. Dr. Knapp, Maria, and the gang always make us feel welcome. Explanations of treatment are thorough and they always give estimates of treatment before proceeding. I'm grateful they're around.

Always a great visit with my fur baby here. He's been going here for years. They are always so gentle and thorough with his exams and make sure to explain everything along the way so I know what's going on. Highly recommended ????

My dog Pepper had a nasty UTI, and they were able to see her the same day. We received very supportive, encouraging and compassionate care and feedback throughout our visit. My girl is now on medication, and I was given clear and easy to understand instructions on what to do if she isn't responding to the medication and pain relief, and also got an estimate of how much the then more detailed procedures would cost me if we have to go back. Receptionist super friendly, vet tech outstanding, and the vet of course top notch on his game. I definitely take all my pets there from now on.

The lady who answers the phone around 3:30 on 10/27/21 is rude and not helpful. My dog came in for a grooming perfectly fine and when I got her, her right eye was squinted closed and she seemed drowsy( mind you my dog is a very lively dog she never acts like this), When I pointed it out they took her inside and brought her back out with a cone around her neck and “ free” eye products for her eye claiming she has a Ulcer on her eye. when I asked her how she got that the answer was “idk”. I called because the groomer is obviously no help and asked to speak with the doctor who prescribed the eye meds and the woman who answers phones Her name starts with a C, told me the doctor couldn’t be reached and the groomer was nowhere in the building. I had just left the place 10 minutes prior to me calling. My dog WILL NOT be brought back and I better not find out that someone hurt my dog.

I have been using this vet for about six months and they are always great. Very efficient and affordable, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10, would recommend ❤️

I had a great experience visiting with the doctors at Veterans Memorial animal Hospital. Making the appointment was easy and fast. The front office staff ladies were very friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate them.They were very accommodating and informative and the prices are great for the service you get. I will be going back in the future for my pups.

We love the staff and drs here!! Even with the Covid procedures they take the time at each visit to talk to you about your fur babies visit!! We are very happy and lucky to have them!!!

I love this vet for my dogs! I been coming here for years! Since I was a little girl my parents will take my dogs here. Now that I’m older I take my dogs here. I would recommend this vet to anyone!

Update: I did not have a great experience my first visit into this hospital. But something told me to go back, I got switched to doctor Knapp on my follow up visits. She has been amazing and so helpful. I can tell she really cares about my dog and is doing everything to help him. She has been very open to discussing natural options with me and has helped me find supplements that will help my dog. I called around and the procedures they did for me would have cost far more elsewhere. I had a friend recommend this animal hospital to me due to our similar interest in holistic medicine. I drove over 30 minutes out of my way, out of town, to see this Doctor because of my friend’s recommendation. But I was a little disappointed with my visit. The doctor didn’t seem to take a holistic approach at all and sent me home with a lot of quick fix medication for my dog’s diarrhea and nausea. Not to mention, they told me he might be sick due to changing his food, but then had me buy new food from them to give my dog that day.

I love Dr. Nape. she has been seeing my dog since the '80s! and would highly recommend this facility

My 1year 10 months old husky all the sudden lost control of his back legs and within 2 days he was moving like a senior dog, can't lay down, jump, sit normally. The doctor gave my husky, pain medicine, muscle relaxers, and infection control if any to be found. I was not very happy paying $500+ for x-ray, blood work and medication. Yet honesty needs to be said, After leaving the doctor we still did it know the exact problem, since it was not a specific condition many factors can be the reason why such as ticks, hips related issues, or muscle tissue problems. Summery, after the attempt of the medication for infection and muscle relaxers, my husky is walking back again and he is recovering day by day. True I was not happy paying for an issue that might be fixed that might not, I am super happy to know my husky is moving, eating, and seems to be healthy once again. The staff did all they can to help, I don't have anything against the way they function. My experience might be similar or different to yours, but give them a chance.

This place is the nearest animal clinic to my house. We have lots of pets, so it was important to us that there's an affordable animal clinic so close to home. We've been going to this place for the past few years and our pets are always healthy and happy after the visit. Pre-pandemic, the wait times were a bit long. However, because of the pandemic, I think the wait times have improved significantly and I feel good knowing that they are also trying to protect their customers by doing curbside drop offs. Overall, really good and affordable animal clinic. They offer a very wide array of services on top of that, which I really appreciate.

This vet family is the best I've had in 50 years! Would not go anywhere else. The girls in the front are fantastic caring and go the extra mile!! The vets are even more!!! I love that this is one of the only places around Houston area I can get my pets chiropractor and acupuncture done for a great price!!!! You honestly can't beat the price for the Houston area! Thank you to all the Dr.s and staff for taking such excellent care of my babies under such stressful conditions. No one likes going to the vet! Lol but it does lessen the nerves to know we will be cared for here! Thank y'all so much and much love from my doggie babies and me!

Dr. Crist is extraordinary! The entire staff is caring and loves each critter that walks in the door. Of course, NOW, owners call when they arrive and staff comes out to take your pet inside for examination and treatment. So, not only do they care for critters...but pet owners...and themselves! These peeps are GREAT!
