Temple Veterinary Hospital Medical and Surgical Center Temple, Texas

We have been taking our pets to Temple Veterinary Hospital for the past 8 years. I recently went in because our pet was very ill and needed to be euthanized as recommended by Dr. Gosney. They do not have any special accommodation for those facing the task of saying good bye to a beloved pet. You cannot set an appointment time. I was told I would have to sit in a full waiting room (for possibly hours) behind everyone else in line while awaiting euthanasia for my pet. To me that is very cold and insensitive and not how I want my pet to spend his last hours. Nor do I want to sit in a waiting room full of people and cry. We will not be going back to Temple Veterinary Hospital.

This was my first time at this office today to get my puppy his first shots. I only came here because the guy that sold us the puppy had brought him and the vet was already familiar with my pup. Waited for 1.5 hrs to be put in a room, then waited 30 min for the vet to be seen. I was disappointed that there was a wait without any acknowledgement about it from the staff, was disappointed that the vet prescribed 6months of heartworm meds and the lady at the desk decided to disregard and only give me one month. Another disappointment was I called earlier in the day to get an estimate on the overall visit and was told $32 and I paid $77 when I went. The fact that I voiced the concern with the inaccurate estimate and that she went against vet orders, I wasn't even acknowledged for that, just ignored. Overall, disappointed at lack of communication and incorrect formation at customer request. Poor Service.

Very caring people. Treat our pets with the highest level of care. This beautiful little angel needed to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The staff here was absolutely caring and comforting.

Excellent vet office! I brought my dog here after moving from San Diego for a dental cleaning. They were affordable, kind and took great care of my little guy! Looking forward to using them for all our vet needs while stationed here.

Awful experience. We boarded our two puppies and they came back stinking of feces and our one has a UTI. Both dogs have sores on their ankles and feet-likely from sitting in feces. They were returning with a ring of hair loss where they pull your dog on the leash for walks. We also preportioned the exact amount of dog food in individual bags for them- we received SIX entire meals back and both our dogs had lost weight. We have turned them for animal neglect and will not stop until this place is investigated. If you love your animal and they are used to being treated humanely- do NOT board your dog here.

Took my dog to get xrays to confirm pregnancy. She was 6 week along, plenty of time for the puppy skeletons to show on xray. For whatever reason they charge $90 per xray image. I asked for 1 image. They took an image that was so poor you couldn't see anything. Then they took another image that was just as bad. Literally charging me because they aren't good at using their own equipment. Then they emailed me a link to view the images that didn't work, because it required a username and password. I called back and asked could they send them to me directly. The tech said she would send me the jpg images, and she never did. Avoid this place if you are a breeder. Wasted time and money going here.

Excellent as always but had a three hour wait to stay so spoke with Dr by phone and returned home.

Great place to take your fur babies to with loving staff and great doctors!!!!

We had a litter of Doberman puppies and kept two, had their ears trimmed and racked. We took both pups back weekly for re-racks for over two months and still won't stand. They have open sores and scabs on their ears from them ripping the tape off every week. Other vets use a different method rack the dogs ears once for two weeks and done, so I'm confused why they do this method. On top of that we boarded them over Thanksgiving week. When we dropped them off they were supposed to rack the ears for us on a Friday. They failed to do so and let our dogs ears be down for 3-4 days before WE had to find out they weren't racked and insist they do it immediately. Then upon return we picked our babies up and they were covered and smelled so awful of urine and were dehydrated, one had a UTI and couldn't pee. When we called to complain they fired US as clients and refused to correct their wrongs. We spent $1100 on ear trimming and countless hours bringing them up there for re-racks only for it to be for nothing and to have our pups abused. Awful, incompetence! Go elsewhere!

Amazing wish i found it earlier! Great prices and you don't have to pay a vet fee for shots! Ive been traveling to emancipet to get vaccines and found them !! The vet was so kind, and you can tell he loves his job, and animals!

Recently, my pup got off his leash and was lost for over an hour - a handful of staff members took time out of their busy schedules to physically walk the premise calling my dog's name. They went above and beyond. I couldn't thank them enough - shoutout to Shasitty who helped me remain calm and spread the word. Along with Alexis, Amber, Francis, and Raymond for searching for my pup. Not to mention this was nearing the end of their shift. There is no way I would have been able to sleep that night, my lab is home safely because of all of you! I can't thank you all enough for your kindness.

Awesome so far. I’ve had bad experiences at other local Vets. This one seems to be pretty good.

This was such a positive experience! Dr. Cochran was wonderful, very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions with ease! Our pups loved him. The front desk staff/receptionists were so kind and the vet techs were very professional. The wait was virtually none and the prices were more than reasonable! We just moved here from out of state and feel safe bringing our greyhounds to this facility, which was highly recommended to us by friends. Grooming services in-house is also a plus! We hope not to be at the vet much, but we are so relieved to find a trustworthy establishment.

Clean, hospitable facility with doctors and employees who care about every aspect of your pet. Extremely well-performed surgeries. Highly recommend.

Staff was absolutely amazing they were able to save my daughters cat. I could not have asked for better service or care.

Got there around 9 sat until after 10 to find out that a doc won't be there from 11 to 1300. Nah vro I'm good. They didn't acknowledge me while hour. Nah bto, not going here again.

My Siberia husky had hurt her leg and they treated her and now she is ok ????

We found this little one hurt outside of work, I took him to the vet and they were so kind and got him into surgery right away. He is still healing but doing great! The staff at the office are so sweet and loving to the fur babies, they are amazing. Thank you for everything????
