I couldn't be happier with critter care or with Dr. Plummer. After having a very negative experience with a vet in the area, I brought my cat here when he was very ill. While he ultimately wasn't going to have a good outcome, Dr. Plummer and her staff went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible for us and were so kind and understanding. This is definitely the vet I'll be taking other pets to and recommending to everyone I know.

Price is very reasonable for neutering $350-390 depending on weight. I got my dog neutered and it was a simple drop off at around 7-8 and pick up in the evening. The Dr is very kind and gives a personal call when the surgery is over with comment to call if any further question. Highly recommend! My new go to vet!

Omg this place is amazing !! The staff were sooooo good and sweet ! I’ve been to 3 other vets and no one has been able to trim my baby’s nails as he turns super aggressive when his feet are touched! But we got it done here ! Safe to say this is his new vet ! ????????

I couldn’t wait to give Dr.’s Carmen & Plummer & staff the praise they deserve! From the moment I handed my dog over to them for emergency surgery for Pyometra I knew my dog Nyla was in the best hands and care possible. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and caring they kept me up to date throughout her stay and recovery. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone seeking veterinary care for their pets!

Recently my vet of 3 1/2 yrs retired & I knew I needed to find another that knew Bulldogs as much as she did....I met Dr. Plummer years ago when I was asked to take a stray bulldog to her....she had been abandoned & was in obvious heart failure???? Dr. Plummer agreed she was in extreme pain & helped to end her suffering....she was extremely compassionate & caring through the entire procedure....I never forgot about that, neither did she. Lola went in for a 'meet & greet' last week and I know if she needs any procedures in the future, she's in good hands with Dr. Plummer???????????? Her staff was very friendly and got us in right away(Lola does have a specific prescription she nds & it was going to run out soon). Their prices are reasonable and their facility is less than 5 miles away from me❤????????

I have been taking my little girl, Journee to the doggy daycare for almost a year. She loves going here and gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. They all know her and everyone is super friendly. They also helped us when her allergies acted up. I also have them trim her nails.

We absolutely love Critter Care! Dr. Plummer and her team are professional, love animals, reasonable prices and the facility is clean! Our Yorkie loves doggie daycare, grooming and boarding. Critter Care has been our go to for over 5 years. I highly recommend their services.

I inherited Dr. Plummer for our dog when I married my partner (had been going there for 10 years). After 12 years of care (5 years with me), we couldn't have found a better Vet for our dog. Clinic is clean, prices are reasonable, and there is no pressure to get treatments and workups. Dr. Plummer works with you to figure out what is best for your pet and has amazing pet-side manners!

Know one knows Bulldogs like Dr. Plummer. We first came to Dr. Plummer because she was highly recommended for her expertise with brachycephalic breeds and her use of surgical lasers. From the start we we're extremely impressed. First, the whole staff refers to your pet as "your baby". They take the time to really listen and make you feel like you are their most important client. When you have an emergency, they fit you in. Dr. Plummer calls you personally with test results. Dr. Plummer is honest and trustworthy. She doesn't preform unnecessary surgeries or procedures. It is a well known fact that many vets view Bulldogs as "cash cows". I can attest that is not the case at Critter Care. After opening our Bulldog's stenotic nares Dr. Plummer invited us into the surgical suite where she explained, while showing us that our dog did not require palate surgery. Not many vets would be so honest. Dr. Plummer has treated 4 of our personal Bulldogs as well as many Bulldogs we foster for Bulldog Rescue. We've used her services for complex dermatology, heart, orthopedic, gastrointestinal and urinary issues. She has preformed 5 surgeries and end of life care. Each and every time my husband and I have been truly impressed with high level of care she and her staff provide as well as the kind and compassionate atmosphere at Critter Care.

I would give 3.5 or 3.75 stars if I could, but since there are so many 5 stars reviews.. I will give 3 for some critical awareness. I'm a little torn about this clinic. If there is a life threatening issue and if I am keeping up with it (or perhaps the issue that my pet had was "straightforward" in regards to treatment-- not easy to explain) and being involved.. I think I would continue to trust Dr. Plummer. I feel like something has changed over the past few years. The office staff isn't.. that great.. There's something about communication with/within this office that feels off. I can't put my finger on it. Most recently, my pet was ill in regards to 2 symptoms. I asked the office after the appointment is the follow up is complimentary as it is a follow up (I'm accustomed to medical follow-up appointments not having a charge, unless you needed x-rays or something then the x-rays would have a charge, etc.) however the office staff did not want to answer how much it would cost. Maybe it is not socially nice to ask for prices, but I would like to make sure that I have the correct amount in my checking account as they charge fees for using a credit card (What vet does this? This isn't an asian establishment either). One week later, I mentioned to the nurse who called that symptom 1 cleared but symptom 2 did not. The nurse did not follow up with the doctor. A week or so later.. symptom 2 got worse and I am charged for a completely new issue. Why is there lack of communication between the nurse and doctor? It seems like if I ask questions because I am a "clueless person when it comes to my pet because pet =/= a person" nearly all of the nurses and office staff are so reluctant to explain anything. I could be begging them to sell me services and they still would not explain. Are they afraid that I am a super cheap-skate? I just want to make informed decisions. I get the feeling that dogs are loved more here-- it makes sense since it is easier to love a dog that loves everyone whereas cats are more.. stoic? ___________________________________________ Long story short-- Stay very involved with your pet's health (as you should anyways..) They don't seem to take questions from a "pet 'owner' who doesn't have the same common sense as them/just wants to learn" very well. (Maybe I just don't fit their client stereotype... ) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear CCAH, if you're reading this. Please find a way to stop charging fees for using a credit card. Or lower the fee to 1%.

I love Dr. Plummer and staff. I've been going there for years. She helped me through Gracie's cancer all the way until the end. Now they are taking excellent care of my dogs Jaden and Jackson too. I selfishly never wrote a review because I didn't want it to get crowded. But I trust them with my Shih Tzu babies. They are the best!

Ridiculous! Overpriced! $543 for spay and lab work. Never will go back. Procedures are still the same with just as skilled professionals elsewhere! The receptionist had the nerve to clap/ snap back at my objections and say I " should keep in mind that they may do it ' right' at other place JUST because it is less expensive!" How can a receptionist determine level of expertise of places that are more affordable and perhaps for the underprivileged or economically challenged??? Since when do you argue with customers??? I believe I was more disturbed by the manner in which she responded to me than what she said!!!! Indicating her condescending manner of addressing me!!!! I've had decades of customer service management experience and NEVER did I snap back or argue, even if they were wrong! Customer service is of the past!

I have been taking my dogs to CCAH for about 15 years. Dr. Plummer has been so loving and caring in taking care of my dogs. She has even called me to check on how how they were doing. The staff has always been helpful, friendly, and professional as well. I know I can trust Dr. Plummer to be honest and genuinely concerned about my pets health.

I first dealt with Dr. Plummer back in 2019 when I had a feral momma cat I needed to be spayed and she was very flexible with me getting the cat in to office. Then recently I took my older cat there who was very ill and my current vet charged me over $500 and really didn't help. Wanted me to have ultrasound but place sent me to could not accommodate me for several days. When I told Dr.Plummer what was going on and she immediately told me to bring him in to get him started on some fluids. Sadly to say he has alot of issues and whatever treatment we give him will not help him. So now I have to make that hard design that every fur baby mom doesn't want to make.

I love the care that my pet gets at Critter Care. He is very timid and the keen observation and time taken to calm him is just so special. I highly recommend Critter Care Animal Hospital.

I've had the pleasure of adopting a dachshund from out of town that was a patient of this animal hospital. Alice was the utmost professional on the call that I made to request the medical record. I received the information promptly and greatly appreciate the time they took to expedite my request. Judging by the reviews, I would have her continue to be a part of the critter care family if it wasn't over 4 hours away. Thank you for the attention to detail.
