Very attentive and super kind. I hate going to the vet for obvious reasons, but they make the experience as nice as possible!

For routine care or intensive care this is a great practice! The staff couldn't be better and Dr Dreiver is awesome. You're beloved family member will get excellent care here with caring people. Feb. 25, 2019 Let me update this..... this is a place where routine care is done with great intensive care! Wow, a great staff and wonderful doctors ....the best!

Expect to wait anywhere from 25-45 minutes in the waiting room for the vet to come in and see you. Before moving, I took my puppies to Sienna at 6 Veterinary Hospital and they were always always on time. If I ever had questions or needed prescription refills they were able to help me over the phone, but this place makes you pay $75 to come in for an unnecessary appointment. They act like it’s in the best interest of your pets health, but let’s be honest, they just want your money. It’s a small vet, and there’s no one ever in there. I decided to write this review after my puppy had a terrible reaction to her third round of shots. She had an enormous amount of pain around the injection site and body aches all over. When she moved around in her crate she whimpered, and if I tried to pick her up to take her potty she yelped as if her leg was broken or I was severely hurting her. This lasted almost 36 hours. The vet was closed when the reaction occurred, so I researched what anti-inflammatories were safe to give puppies after their vaccines and what dose to give her. It was either that or pay over $1500 to take her to an emergency vet for a reaction I knew was common and would pass. She had no other symptoms. When I was honest with the vet about the decision I made, I was shamed and spoken to like a child (I’m 27) for giving my puppy an unauthorized medication. Then after she was done shaking me, the solution was to only give her one shot instead of two… The vet wasn’t going to give my puppy any sort of additional pain medication or anti inflammatory until after I told them I would be taking her to another vet… Then her attitude changed, and she offered to give her a take-home anti-inflammatory for afterwards as well as a preventative one to take an hour before. I left anyways. Even if this hadn’t happened, I was pretty close to switching back to our old vet and driving the extra 15 minutes just for the complaints earlier in the review.

Dr. Driever and the staff of Animal Hospital HWY 6 were caring, efficient and, as always, awesome! We have been taking our pets to them for years and I have nothing but good things to say about this vet clinic.

Great vet team. They are passionate about what they do and are very caring with pets. They do a great job discussing and explaining about our pets' medical condition, overall health and treatment recommendations.

Animal Highway 6 is the best Vet Clinic in the area. I have been to several vet clinics and the professionalism, reliable care, trust and cost is by far the best I have ever seen. Being a veteran, I can also see the team work and care that the entire staff exhibits. They truly care about their customers and animals. I would not go to another clinic for the care of my animals.

We have been loyal to this location for 25+ years. Staff is incredibly kind, friendly & goes above and beyond to assist anyway they can. Dr. Scott Driever is topnotch, is very experienced & knowledgeable. All his advice & guidance has been successful. Everyone there really loves animals & it shows.

The Vet Tech and Vet were nice. However I’m so disappointed. I called to ask if they would do a neutering consultation for my rabbit. I was said one vet can surely help me. I was told at the end that they don’t neuter rabbits. That’s why I initially came in the visit for. I don't know why I wasn't told that they do not neuter rabbits from the start. I could have saved time and visited another vet. *UPDATE* This clinic really cares about their patients and customer service

I have been bringing my dogs to Animal Hospital Highway 6 for the last 25 years. Although the staff has changed over time, the great service has not. I highly recommend Animal Hospital.

For more than 15 years, I've trusted Animal Hospital Hwy 6 for the health needs of my personal dogs as well as the many Italian Greyhound rescues I have fostered. Unfailingly, the care has been top notch, but Dr. Driver's interest in dentals and diagnostics, takes it to a new level. The staff is efficient and very sensitive to their patients' needs. They are a lovely group of people.

All of the staff were absolutely lovely! Everyone had a great attitude and seemed to really enjoy what they do. The doctor spent a lot of time with me answering my questions and helping me understand how to be a more responsible pet owner which I truly appreciated. I feel like they care about my pet and will help me provide the best environment for my pet to thrive.

evacuating town & pup got a barbed fishing hook stuck in his nose, they responded quickly to the situation, allowing us to be back on the road shortly after. highly recommend. thank y’all!

I've been coming to this animal hospital for 15+ years and I cannot say how wonderful this staff is. Even if you only see them a couple times a year for checkups, they always make you feel special. But when the time comes for serious medical decisions, they really do step up. I cannot express the gratitude to them during the best and worst/sad times. They do such a professional job and really do have you and your pets best interest in mind when making medical decisions. Thanks to Dr. Driever and his staff for everything.

Great veterinarian! They are extra careful with your pet at this veterinarian. They caught something that was missed at the budget vet that I went to before so I will only be coming here from now on!

Absolutely the best people ever. My furry baby was attacked by another dog. I rushed him over having never been there before they took him in immediately with no hesitation. The dr or one of their staff called me every morning for 2 weeks to check on us. I can not praise this group enough for their care and compassion. I am going to take my baby to them going forward

We've been going to AHH6 since the day we moved to Texas 24 years ago, and we'll be lifelong clients. Dr. Driever, his fellow doctors, and the entire staff are extremely diligent, thorough, and compassionate. The follow-up and personal care are unlike any I've seen with other doctors when I have lived out of state. And when I've lived in Houston outside of Sugar Land, I've never even considered taking our dogs anywhere else. 5 stars x 3 dogs = 15 stars!!!

I've been taking my female Chihuahua, Angel, to the Animal Hospital Hwy 6 for almost 4 years. They are wonderful. They provide prompt, courteous service and are very accommodating. I trust them immensely and you can too. I highly recommend Animal Hospital Hwy 6 for your pet's care.

We LOVE Dr. Driever and his team! They are professional, caring and great to work with. We drive 25 minutes to visit this clinic and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

All of the staff, from the front office to the vets, are dedicated to the care of the animals that walk through the door. I have used Animal Hospital Highway 6 for many years, and they are simply the best! They feel and treat me like family, and I know my pups are getting the very best in care. My pups love all the vets, especially Dr. Driever!! He takes all the time necessary for the appointment, and likes to answer client questions and educate us "pet parents". The vets give me follow up calls personally - something that never fails to impress me!

I've brought my dog and cat to see Dr. Driever for 10 years now and have seen Dr. Kurzdiel for several years since her joining the practice, and they are both wonderful. Very thorough and I trust them both completely with my fur babies (which is a big deal for me!). The vet techs (especially Anna and Casey) and the office managers are so kind and caring. They are an amazing team, who do great and thorough work, and truly care about your pets and the pet owners.

Everyone is incredibly friendly and the service is excellent.

Even during a global pandemic, we had nothing but a personal experience. We called when we were in the parking lot, and they came out to get our dog. When Dr. Driever was finished with the exam, he called to give us a report. Then the shots were administered, we were able to pay over the phone, and our dog was returned. While it's not ideal, we knew that our dog was in good hands, and we appreciate them!
