Good people helping our 4 legged friends. They use volunteers and donations.

I was so sad in seeing this place but it was because of the lack of space and seeing some people bringing animals and having to be turned away. They desperately need more funds and help. The people that were there are absolute angels in doing what they do to help those animals. I did not realize how great a need there was. I am thinking about volunteering myself. But they definitely need a bigger place. Stephenville deserves better. There is so much money going into the schools and colleges and roads now. I hope someone reads this and knows maybe how to get more funds for them and the animals. God Bless.

Expect a 2-4 week waiting period for them to decide on if you or a whole waiting list of people would be fit for 1 pup. Really really poor service. VERY unfriendly. Fb market place always has pups needing a new home without all the hassle

This place was great. My wife and I got our baby Jax from here almost two years ago. He is the SWEETEST and BEST dog ever and was here for several months as I think the 2nd longest dog in the shelter. If you are looking for a great dog, please consider the overlooked ones! I am posting a picture of him the day we got him and him now with his little sister.

Very caring and friendly staff. They make sure the animals will be taken care of. Gave me a hard time cause I'm new to adopting from shelters but totally understandable and my new pup was worth it. Will be back for sure. And donating as much as I can to this wonderful place.

The staff was rude. Honestly it's because I'm a guy you can tell the lady at the desk hates men lol. They refused to let me adopt even though I more than meet the requirements so now I'm gonna buy a kitten from my neighbor so if they euthanize one more cat this month that's on them. Their responsibility. You could tell they didnt want to be there. They treated the process like a unenthusiastic salesman would instead of the philanthropists they pretend to be. Their facility is dirty and minimal. Like what you would see at the Tiger King (honestly though I think joe exotic cared more than these people.) They made an animal lover turn away from an animal. The women there were very accommodating and wonderful. They have me everything they possibly could about our new babe. They really seem to care about their animals and who they go to.

My son got out the gate while I was at work out of town and they came back to let me get him after hours!!!! What a blessing. I have found a new organization to donate to. Thank you so much.

It is a " no kill" animal shelter, all dogs, cats, etc. are treated with compassion. Kennels are clean. They feed and take care of every one. They walk the dogs daily, they provide food and treats. Diane McCoy publishes adds looking for owners of lost pets, also she does a great job finding new homes for the animals. You can visit and find your new best friend, or just visit bringing food or treats.

They are a no kill shelter. They also work really well with the community on social media to help send lost dogs home. I think they do a wonderful job with their limited resources. They provide igloo homes for the dogs and only small dogs stay in walking room kennels. They clearly have limited resources but many rural shelters do.

They do an excellent job taking care of the animals with the limited resources they have. We try to donate bags of food as much as we can to help out. Adopt a dog or a cat and give them a loving home!
