Unprofessional people they wait til my appointment time to tell me that they where scared of my puppy (8lb yorkie) that they wouldn't be grooming him today. My pup lives with 4 kids I know for a fact he isnt agressive.

Used to be my go to until they added locks to the carts so you can't even take them out to the parking lot anymore/ don't bother bringing them back to the store half the time. Carrying large bags of food and litter one by one doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Great selection of everything, cheerful and helpful employees.

I took my dog to get groomed twice and both times was turned away with poor communication from the staff on what was needed. I was 5 minutes late & the groomer Briana was very passive aggressive and rude about it. My dog is not injured, and I let them know I had used a cone to prevent scratching. They then denied me an appointment & said I will need a vets notice before returning. They where not empathetic, or accommodating. It was almost like a power trip from Briana. The tone In her voice was hostile. I understand if that’s a policy, but at least be nice when conveying bad news to a client. It’s basic costumer service. Literally going down the street to support a local business, get better service. And a better price. I have gone to petco for 20 years will not go back.

Do all my pet shopping at this store, close to home clean friendly and let you return if you are not happy

The grooming shop adds on so many additional charges at this location. The first time I thought the guy was just being a jerk. Many many months after that this was the only location with an opening so I gave them another try. Same issue except this time extra fees were even more and pup's cut didn't look even. I don't think I will use Petco again for grooming and especially not the Hancock Center store.

I recently had my dogs, Chopper and Mumford, groomed by Brittany and Paula and I was very pleased with how the dogs turned out and their amazing customer service. They were very patient, understanding, and compassionate while working with my two older dogs. They made me feel very comfortable that my little buddies would be well taken care of. I will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Helpful workers! I was browsing and I worker asked if I needed help. I needed a bit, and she helped a lot.

No snakes but ferrets where very good looking

Remodeled. New manager, new district manager, new staff, this old store has been given a new life. I found exactly what I was looking for and scheduled a dog grooming while I was there.

(1) Calling store phone call for curbside pickup and no one to pick up the phone call. (2) Then I have to come into the store. Front desk Maria has no greetings during the whole pickup process. No 'goodbye' and even when I say 'Thank you', no responses at all from her.

Took my Cooper here today for his first grooming appointment. We we're both nervous. The staff was super friendly, they made sure Cooper felt comfortable with them and that I felt comfortable leaving him with them. Paula did a amazing job with him. He went in a fur ball and had so much access hair on his bottom it looked as if he had 2 tails. He came out looking amazing and even had a little attitude like he knew he looked good. That in itself is he enough to let me know he feels great cleaned and trimmed down. Thank you so much to all the staff on duty today, y'all are AMAZING! We will definitely be back! ❤️

Was really disappointed with this location. Typically we adore Pet-Co's services, communication, on time, kind and accommodating staff. We had the exact opposite experience at this store when we had a pre-planned appointment for our pup. No one reached out to us letting us know that we would need to reschedule our appointment due to the staff not being able to lift him (he is 45 pounds). We drove an hour only to be turned away with no solution offered other than a small discount on our next service. The staff was very rude and acted like it was somehow our issue to resolve. Just over all vey disappointing experience and would have taken such minimal effort on their end to avoid but, they refused - i would take you business elsewhere, i know we will be :)

Love the renovation they did! So much easier to find things. This is my go to for my pet's grooming.

Brandie in grooming is the friendliest and most efficient worker I’ve seen/met in all the Petcos in Austin. GOAT ???? This was the first grooming appointment to where my dog didn’t come back in a bad mood????❤️

Me and my family took our dog here and she now has multiple cuts on her and is bleeding do NOT come here

The staff was kind and friendly Brittany,Alex n Paula.n my dog got a great haircut ,bath,nails .A funny share I don't remember his tail it's always been sort of bushy then here was this slick thing wagging

This is specific to grooming; it was my pup’s first ever cut and they did amazing. Communicative at the beginning and end of the appointment. Lance did wonderful, I get so many compliments of how well the fading and cut was done: This was the second visit to grooming, the first time was only a bath. Both instances she came out smelling great and in such a good mood.

The man in the fish section was really knowledgeable of the fish and knew which ones would be compatible with each other. He made great suggestions and was very understanding in meeting my needs for my new aquarium!

Love petco for their specials

I made an appointment for my dog to get a bath and haircut. The day before the appointment they called me and cancelled the appointment because the groomer had an emergency. They said to call back to reschedule. I called back 7 times and left a message and didn’t hear back from them until a few days later. The lead groomer was nice and tried to rectify the situation so I rescheduled my dogs appointment. The morning of the rescheduled appointment they cancelled again.

I appreciate the Petco mission and trust in its ability to provide genuinely to the community. Knowledgeable and very helpful associates service the customer.

Whether I need supplies for my family, or one of the babies AMPS cares for, Petco has great selection and convenient hours!

Liz and the team were very friendly and helpful! My dog was nervous and they made it so easy!
