Village Vet at Sterling Ridge Spring, Texas

A good thing I can say about this place is that; when I took my very ill hedgehog here to be looked at, they told me she had a tumor and was dying. it completely broke my heart at the time and you could clearly see it on my face. They were nice enough to wave any charges for the visit. Other times I have visited, I've just never been fond of the vibes I get when I'm there. It just seems like a, let's get this done with and..onto the next kind of deal... although they did help at times it just...was not a home vet for me....

Village Vet is spectacular. Our critter have been care for by them for the past 20 year. They make us feel like family. Michele and Leslie keep the place running smoothly- Love all the docs - Dr. Moore, Dr. Grimley and Dr. McLaughlin are the faves of our Coonhound Earl.

I am so heartbroken by their negligence. The vet we saw, Dr. Lewis, dismissed my cat's weight loss, missed a grade 4 heart murmur, had to be pushed to order labs that revealed his chronic kidney disease, and missed the fact that he was profoundly dehydrated. He is now dying of acute kidney failure likely due to their failure to correct his dehydration in a timely manner. By the way, I am reposting this review because the first one seems to have been deleted somehow...

Dr. Ruth Ainsworth and her lovely nurse provided care for our family dog, Walter, today. I have never witnessed or received such kindness and utter compassion. Our family is so thankful and feels so blessed to have our dog taken care of by a team who truly loves animals and is willing to put their needs first. My entire family will forever be grateful for such a loving and helpful staff at the Village Vet. Thank you again, Dr. Ruth, and to your nurse, for showing us a true act of empathy and tenderness.

The staff is extremely nice and listens to allow your questions and concerns patiently. There is no wait time. We were out of the clinic in 15 minutes. They are very knowledgeable and love what they do!!!

Superb Vet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Vet herself was very compassionate towards our pets which made their experience so much easier. I was given lots of information and came away feeling that this veterinary practice really understands our dogs health.

The Village Vet at Sterling Ridge is an outstanding Veterinary Hospital. We can always have our Pup seen when needed even when requesting help in a minutes notice. The veterinary care is outstanding and very efficient . ObieWan is in great hands from the administrative staff to the vet techs and the veterinarians. We are lucky to have this group to care for our pets. We couldn’t be happier.

I just recently moved to the Woodlands. My puppy got bitten by something not sure what it was. I walked into the office and the staff was so compassion and very friendly to me. The lady on the phone was really hurried and rude. Seemed really calm when they accidentally picked up the line the first time and put me back on hold. Picked up the line again quickly but couldnt take time to even answer my questions before hurriedly hanging up.

Dr. Grimley, Jessica and Sean did a tremendous job by helping us obtain the necessary documentation to move our cat to another country. The extremely expensive moving service wasn’t as helpful as we hoped and the team at Village Vet bent over backwards to make our cat’s transition as smooth as possible. Can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend if you are looking for help moving a pet to another country/international health certificate. THANK YOU!

The vets and all of the staff at The Village Vet are wonderful! They take very good care of both of our two cats and have all worked very hard to save the life of one of my little cats who unfortunately has a lot of serious health issues. We almost lost her but thanks to the love and expertise of the professionals at The Village Vet she pulled through and has thrived for years with the continued care and attention from the people there for her problems. We cannot express the love and appreciation my husband and I have for everyone there! They are all angels!

We have a 6 year old black lab Over priced and incompetent- had my dog and was told that he had a tumor on his ear when it fact it was a cyst - the quoted 800$ to remove a small finger nail size cyst ... another vet outside of the woodlands tested and confirmed that this was not a tumor... They removed the so called “tumor” - from his ear flap... by laser and the doctor did this for less than 200$ - WELCOME to the woodlands where a professional vet puts anxiety and trauma at the most inconvenient time and then pushes you to have your dog take Unnecessary vaccinations that the dog has already ... suggest that you get a second opinion before you just trust them - don’t want to hurt anyone or offend anyone but I have the feeling that they are not in for the animal but for the overheads as per the shocking shocked answer provided by dr aninworth when asked about the cost... overheads ? 200$ vs 800$ same procedures.

Dr. Pedroza was great! She was very patient with all of my questions. She didn't seemed rushed and took the time to explain everything. I was very pleased with the service and care provided!
