I’ve been coming consistently for care for my African Pygmy Hedgehog. Every time I’ve come my little guy has gotten exceptional care. I am beyond grateful that my beloved pet is in good hands. Dr. Goodyear and all the techs are always super courteous and caring, and extremely knowledgeable. They also handle my pokey little guy very well, despite thousands of quillls! Would highly recommend this place if you want your pet to be cared for by people who genuinely care for the well being of your animal!

Expensive but always very helpful and caring. My dog can be particular with who she interacts with but even then they still managed to do all of the tests she needed.

They were absolutely amazing I found the lost dog that was in really rough shape I gave him a bath and cut off as many mats as I could before bringing him in to check for a micro chip and then they were able to get the rest of the mats and trimmed his long nails they contact the owners and once they got there the vets make sure they understand how important it is to groom your dog to the owners so thankful they cared about the sweet dog

I was able to make an appointment and not have to go in and wait for 3 to 4 hours. Very friendly staff.

We’re not coming back here again. The towel they had our kitten on had what looked like blood stains. I also felt extremely unsafe and uncomfortable coming in and seeing someone at the front desk with a handmade “Trump” necklace. On top of the clear statement her necklace made, she didn’t acknowledge me at all the entire visit. She only looked and spoke to my partner. It was very disrespectful and knowing what the name on her necklace implies made me feel even more uneasy… Just overall bad vibes and not very professional… I would have gone to a different place originally if I’d known how this visit would go.

Be careful of this place! I have been taking my pets to this vet for over 30 yrs. with no issues. Last week, I took my cat in because she was vomiting. My cat is skiddish, cautious and not the best patient. Dr. Goodyear examined her and then a tech picked the cat up burrito style to bring her in the back to draw blood and cut her nails. Another tech came in and said they had problems as my cat moved her paws and they split a nail but vet said she was fine. We took her home and my cat was so traumatized she would not come out of her cage for several days. The vet called to tell me they needed to do another blood test as they saw some blood. I notified them that I didn’t know what happened but something must have as my cat will not come out of her cage. I told them I couldn’t bring her back as she was still traumatized. They said they would let the vet know. My cat finally came out and that is when I noticed a gouge in her tail that was not there before. I did not hear back from the vet. Needless to say, I will not be going back and I would think twice before subjecting your loved pet to this cruelty.

The Doctors and staff are always so friendly and very caring towards my pets. They have evening hours available which I think is a rare find and very accommodating. I haven't used their boarding services, but if I ever need to, I feel confident that my fur baby will be well cared for.

I have a 10 year old kitty named Cas that I've had since she was a baby, and she recently stopped eating. Of course I was super anxious, and my kitty does not normally like people that aren't me. Dr. Looper did an amazing job. Cas took to her immediately, they were extremely gentle and good with her (and me). My anxiety was totally assuaged, and the whole experience was so easy and pleasant, including payment. Clean, professional, efficient, and they clearly care about the animals they're treating. I'd definitely recommend them to any pet parent.

Got an apt quickly which was good and when I got there the vet techs were super sweet and attentive. But… the vet “roy Z” was very impatient and dismissive. My pups was sick and vomiting what looked like blood and all he had to say was if he was gonna die he’d have died. And offered a sedative. Then said to reschedule with another vet cause when he examined his mouth area he yelped. He said ugh I cannot even examine him. It was just a very unhelpful experience and I hope that my next visit will be more caring.

I was so excited about this place for my new puppy given they were nearby, offered a variety of services (including urgent care), listed as an AKC Pet Insurance provider for my pure bred, and had good reviews; but that perspective quickly ended when was shockingly brushed off! I was all ready to schedule a first visit, until a puppy injury occurred first. I looked to see if they were open within minutes of the injury & rushed over. I was clearly distressed & full of tears as I asked the clinician at the front desk if a vet could take a look at him. Sadly, she didn’t even say hello, look at my pup, or acknowledge any type of urgency, but rather asked me if I’d been there before. When I said I was new, she told me to hold on while she checked to see if a vet could help me. She returned about 10 minutes later & suggested I go to an emergency clinic, and doing so would probably save me money too. Who said anything about money?! No vet checked him, touched him, or even asked what happened. I thought they handled urgent care, or I wouldn’t have rushed there. They didn’t even look or ask to see if there was an injury. I was a bit shocked for a vet clinic to literally turn me away without even looking at my pup. How is that “providing expert medical care and valuing client relationships”? Well, it ended up being a blessing because I found a great staff at the 242 Animal Hospital! They were more than happy to take a look, care for my pup, and even console me. Turned out nothing was broken, he was just shaken up a bit. They did a thorough check, no X-rays needed, and he walked fine. They now have a new patient, and even better reviews! Almost grateful for the rude and discriminatory behavior at the Veterinary Medical Center of TW. I’ve lived in The Woodlands 43 years (almost as long as they’ve been in business) and now realize why I hadn’t been there with my pets. The competition is too great for them to act like this. I’ll be letting the AKC know as well.

Great service & even better hours! So relieved to be able to get our sick cat in on the weekend without having to pay an urgent care surcharge for an upset tummy!

They held my dog hostage and forced me to pay a ransom for services they never provided. I called to ask to be refunded for their error, but urimately I had to go to my bank to get the ransom back. I won the dispute, but I would mever recommend this place to anyone and in fact advise people to avoid using them. So my recommendation is to avoid them at all costs they are not interested in customer relations. F-

Overall a WONDERFUL vet. Answered all of our questions and got our road side kitten all fixed up! HIGHLY recommend

This WAS my family vet. My dog was recently exposed to a bat. It was recommended that she receive a rabies booster. I called but they would not get my dog in. It takes all of 5 minutes to give a shot and they would not assist. They will no longer by my vet - things happen that don't allow for planning and they did not seem to care or offer any solutions.

Very nice service! Our dog was super sick, but after visit and prescription our dog was healthy. They are very professional and services very affordable! We went there half year ago. I am going to shedual next meeting ????I definitly recommend

Dr Hendrick is a blessing to my family and my li'l Phoebe...have looked for a vet like him since moving from Indiana 8 yrs ago! Very pleased with staff (Carlos) also, I now have a permanent clinic and comfortable...!

Last night I saw my senior cat had blood in her urine and called this place as soon as they opened. I have never been here before and they were one of the only vets open on Sundays. They were able to squeeze me in and I can not thank them enough. Every one of the vet techs that helped me were extremely sweet and careing. Dr. Smilie was outstanding and very compassionate with letting me know what was going on with my cat. They do not price gouge like previous vets I have gone to as well as compassionate and professional. I wish there were more stars to give. I will be switching practices to them. If you are looking for the best please go see them.

Really good at what they do. I had a bad experience on what was probably a busy day and they went above and beyond the next day to make sure my dog and I were taken care of the following day. I really appreciate that professionalism and care. Dr. Looper is awesome too. Couldn’t ask for a better vet - very informative and helps you understand without going over your head. She shows a genuine care.
