We have had many many pets at this vet. We recently had a neutering done and they charged us $280 unauthorized to clean our dogs ear and do a cytology. They claim that the front office staff had called us to approve of it but we didn’t get any phone calls from them. By the time they called us with the cost the procedure was already done putting us in an extremely hard place. We ended up paying for it because we felt guilted into it. They are nice people but we’re starting to look elsewhere for our pets. We have over 10 pets with them and they are becoming more and more difficult to work with. They have left poop samples dropped off on counters forgetting to give to the vet techs. They have extremely long wait times. One front office staff put us in a room and forgot to check us in until 45 minutes after our appointment time and asking 3 times. Very disappointed in this vet office because we’ve been with them for over 10 years.

Amazing. We took our sick elderly dog there to say out goodbyes without any past experience with this vet. (Our normal one couldn’t find a time to help her even though we’ve been with them for 12+ years ????) They were so compassionate. My family was absolutely floored today, however, when we got a letter from them in the mail. Inside was an outstandingly thoughtful letter signed by all the veterinarians wishing us well. There were so many sweet words of condolence and comfort that brought tears to my eyes while reading it. What came next was the most incredible; they had made a beautiful clay shape with our sweet dog’s paw print and her name, completely painted and outlines with metallic paint. I seriously have no words for how incredible this was. Thank you so much VCA Woodlands for the beautiful closure.

I’ve been taking my dog to this Vet for about a year now. I was extremely satisfied with their low cost vaccine clinic. However, the support staff and some of the doctors are unprofessional. They’re rude and do not care about their guest or their pets. You’re check in, place in a room for 2 plus hours and no one comes in to check on you or your pet. When you do ask how much longer your mistreated by staff. Needless to say I will no longer bring my dog here. It’s such a shame. I really wanted to like them.

I wish I could give this place zero star. They just want your money that’s their main agenda. First impressions are everything. I called the during business hours When I was finally able to get someone on the phone, the lady I spoke with was rude. I was asking simple questions about the services offered and all they told me was my dog was not in the system which he was then proceeded to tell me it’s $1000 for what I needed done, refused to tell me what is included with that price, told me I needed to have blood work done. Who I spoke with has not an ounce of concern for animal well being. This place is a joke please please please don’t waste money here.

Today was a very sad day for me. I had to put my sweet dog down who was almost 16 years old. However, everyone there was so helpful and very kind to the very last end when another vca refuse to see us in. I really appreciate all their help and letting us come in to see what we could do. Rest in peace precious.. You were such a great pup.. And thank you so much vca woodlands.. me, my family, and precious appreciate it. (Some pictures of what she looked liked then and now

Money is their bottom line. This is not my regular vet, my dog was bitten and I panicked. I was estimated $1,400-$1,800 for a quick couple stitches for my pup. I called our normal vet and they can fit her in this week for HALF that at $800 and laughed out loud at the audacity this clinic has trying to take advantage and rip off pet parents. I’m just upset I already paid to get blood work and antibiotics done here for another $500 which my normal vet also included in their $800 estimate.

Johnathan and the staff were so thorough and concise and throughout our entire experience! They made my family and my pet feel very tended to. They made sure that we totally understood all the treatments options available for our pet, as well as kindly and transparently broke down the price range for all services so no hidden fees jumped out at us!! I’m pleasantly surprised every time I make a visit here. VCA vet teams truly know their craft, and out of multiple veterinary tries in the past, they are the facility who was able to finally heal my chronically sick pet of their ailments! Definitely recommend this team to help you with your fur babies!!

I wish I could give this place zero star. They just want your money that’s their main agenda. Got their first time left extremely disappointed. They never talk to me about my pet health just talked about buying this and that. That never check my pet Infront of me so I don’t even know if they check him or not. This place is a joke please please please don’t waste money here.

My dog is never good around new people but when I came to pick her up she didnt want to leave. This will be the only place I come to, to get her groomed.

The employees were very nice and informative. They really took great care of my dog! My dog is very nervous when it comes to shots, but they had a lot of positive affirmations to her. They also took the time to explain how vaccinations work. the different monthly plans that they have are phenomenal especially because it allows you to stay up-to-date with your dogs records and if anything happens to your dog in the interim. Definitely love it there!

DO NOT COME HERE. ITS A SCAM. All they do is take your money. They kept changing my dogs diet when he was eating just fine. They kept charging for all sorts of unnecessary medicines. Definitely do not recommend. It’s a waste of money and they do not know what they are doing.

*UPDATE* I was contacted by Jodi this evening and although she couldn’t change the experience I had, I certainly appreciate her sincere apology and following up with me to find out exactly where things went wrong. Thank you Jodi. You are very sweet. If I could give 0 stars I would. First impressions are everything. I am a first time pet owner, the place where I purchased my pet told me I had to come here for his first visit for them to cover it. I called the first time, repeatedly during business hours and no one picked up. When I was finally able to get someone on the phone, the lady I spoke with was rude. So I schedule the appointment, because as I said, first time pet owner and I have no clue what I’m doing. Get to the appointment 10 minutes before time and go to the door to find out I had to call them to let them know I was there. That part is understandable due to COVID; however, it would have been nice to know the check in procedure upfront during scheduling. I was out on hold for 5-8 minutes just for the lady to tell me I would have to wait another 25 minutes or more (because she couldn’t be sure how long) despite me having an appointment. Why am I scheduling an appointment if I’m not going to be seen at that time. I wouldn’t give these people a penny at this point. Hopefully, other new pet owners know better than to come here.

The Vets here are nice and they did what they could with my limited budget. I will say they're WAY over priced, for a FeLV test I was charged 150! I had left VCA to get a 2nd opinion on my kitty. They retested him for 15$ with a discount! The VCA care club is NOT AN INSURANCE. I wasn't told that but told "Care club covers everything you'll need"

I had used this VCA as my dogs primary vet for a while. I moved vets a couple years ago because we had a bad visit, I felt they were not concerned with the comfort of my dog. A few days ago we discovered he had a tumor rupture. I brought him there knowing we would have to put him down. Obviously a devastating experience for my daughter and I, but they were great in handling my dog and very understanding and supportive to us too. Nothing could have made it a good experience but I am so thankful we went there. And in the future I will definitely use them for our primary vet again. Thank you VCA Woodlands for your help and support!

Took my cat in for an ear infection and the team was so sweet to her. I opted for the inside visit versus waiting in the car because I had a lot of questions. Everyone was great about masking and social distancing. Dr. Green examined my cat and was very thorough in answering all my questions. I even got a decent quote for a procedure my cat has been needing (other places have quoted me $100+ more). First experience at this location and I would definitely return.

Very thorough and clean. The staff is amazing and the Dr was wonderful. I did read all the other reviews prior to coming and disagree with the over priced comments. I personally love my pups like I love my children and I would pay for great care. VCA you rock!!

Care seems average. They are definitely a "money grab" Vet prescribed an antibiotic for my babygirl and wanted to charge me $93.00. Luckily they provided me a paper script that I took to Kroger Pharmacy to fill and only paid $11.99. The Dr. Did not perform the examination in the room where I was, they took her out to do it so I am not sure to what extent the exam was.. I asked the vet tech if the Dr looked at her ears and her answer was "I think he did" but didn't bother to go ask to make sure. So I called them 2 days after her visit to ask a question about something she was experiencing and the person that answered the phone went to ask the the Dr. and he said I had to bring her back in and I would be charge $52.00 ,office visit instead of $68.00. Probably will not return to this facility.

The staff are super. They have everything you need in one place. I’d love linger hours, but they are super helpful!

They were there for me when I put my pet to sleep. They let me grieve and then sent a paw print and a card! Very compassionate team!

First, the folks are very nice and good to work with and do well with the pets. But a rotating door of staff who actually sees your pets and exorbitant prices (just had a minor procedure plus teeth cleaning done at a local non-corporate vet for $1000 -$1500 less than the price of just the procedure at VCA) is this vet's downfall. I started going to VCA's for convenience, but with time and as I've changed cities that convenience has been greatly out-weighed by outlandish costs and major dissatisfaction with the care offered.

It’s unnecessarily fearful to not let people come into an animal clinic because of a human virus, but at least they’re still open and willing to provide service over the phone and bring the medicine outside.

I do not like to write bad reviews but employees are rude except the blond lady at the front desk. The first time that I went there went pretty bad, so I asked if I could have someone else next time that I come for my cat. The last time that I went there they didn’t even want to let me go in the room with my cat (I found it very questionable, my guess was because it was the same lady from the first time. I think that her name is Jodi). Also, The black hair lady at the front desk had an attitude with me telling me that my kitty was under weight (when he wasn’t), and asked me if I feeded him enough (he gained 2 pounds in 3 weeks so this question was totally inappropriate). She also got an attitude when she tried to sign me up for flea products delivery each month, therefore, I said no because I did not want to have to deal with this vet ever again. Employees only care about your money and nothing else... Prices are very high ($40 for rabbies vaccine and $120 for exam), and the work is poorly done. I will never come back to this place!! I do not recommend this place for your fur baby.
