If I could give a zero star I would. I am so saddened, filled with emotion and utter rage, all at the same time; by the recent visit my awesome beautiful fur baby, who has been a member of my family for ten years was subjected to. I heard about Spa La Paws through the next door neighborhood app., Beth Haire was highly recommended. I decided to give her service a try since my fur baby was older and doesn't do well being crated for a long period of time. I used her service for about a year and thought it to be a pretty good fit for my needs. One visit I walked in and saw a fur baby who had recently been bathed, placed in a crate soaking wet and left to shiver, I found that odd and a bit unsettling; I am an avid animal lover, so I made the decision to look else where, just based on seeing that incident. I decided recently to try her service again since I didn't have any problems specifically with my dog; the staff Beth and her daughter appeared very friendly and quite jolly. I dropped my fur baby off and was supposed to wait for a call to pick him up. I arrived early, entered her establishment and to my HORROR, Beth was in the mist of grabbing and hitting my docile, less than 8lbs toy poodle, while being held in the neck harness and being groomed by her. I felt a tremendous RAGE! Beth was shocked to see me and immediately tried to act as though she was just trying to move him. I was in such shock, I just stood there. She told me I would have to step out so she could finish him, I stepped right outside her door and watched her closely through the window. I stepped back in when she finished, paid and immediately left. I got in my car and just started to sob. I could not believe my eyes, I immediately called family members to tell them of the abuse I witnessed on my fur baby. I am contemplating filing a police report for animal cruelty. I will never take my fur baby there AGAIN! People beware all smiles are not good smiles. REBUTTAL to Beth Haire's response. I know exactly what I saw, she abused my fur baby. He was not slipping or moving, I witnessed her abuse towards him. I have absolutely no reason to give a bad review or make an accusation without cause. I normally don't do reviews, my time is valuable and I will not spend it debating what I witnessed. The review system is in place to acknowledge your experience with a business, I DID JUST THAT !!!! Perhaps you do need cameras to police your behavior. Blessings

These ladies did an AMAZING job with my shihtzu mix fur baby! Told them how I wanted his cut, and they did exact to what I asked. My baby was so happy afterwards, which is not at all normal when he's gotten groomed before elsewhere. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place!!

Beth has 30+ years in grooming...she is awesome..and her daughter is right there with her in the grooming talent and customer service...

The best groomer that has ever groomed my dog

When we arrived the owner refused service and gave us an excuse by saying dog was matted. Our puppy had same amount of hair as previous visit. We won't be going back to establishment. Plenty other places to give our business to.

Absolutely love this groomer! I have taken my Shih Tzu's to other places and they've been traumatized by the lack of patience of the groomer just trying to get another dog done. Ms. Beth took wonderful care of our fur babies (we have 4). She was honest when I brought one of mine in for a grooming and he was matted beyond grooming. I'll admit, I brush my dogs but definitely not as often as I should (life happens and we get busy) and for that I couldn't blame Ms. Beth for having to take his coat down shorter than I'd have liked but I totally realized that was on me. My fur baby was much happier with a short haircut than the knots up against his skin.

I’ve known Beth for 36+ years and the heart she has for ALL animals. When we were in town we dropped our beloved Snickers off to be groomed. He came back so happy, clean and sporting a cute bandana. Thank you Beth for your special care for our fur baby. ????

It was ok. Too hard to get to and park. They don't let you come in so it was kinda rough getting my dog in and out. He looked and smelled about the same as when I took him in. Cute bandana. I will go back when it's not a holiday and not so crowded.

Emateurs... Do not know how to cut hair ! They just totally shaved my daily brushed Cavapoo - no knots. Easier for them... I could have done that .Place is dirty.... On second and last visit there my dog freaked out in fear when he saw the same dog groomer : who knows what takes place inside.... ! Stay away,,,, Expensive too !

I was very displeased with the lack of professionalism I received from this business today. I made an appointment for my two senior chihuahuas expecting to have a relaxing spa day for them both. While standing outside completing the required paperwork, I had them in a small carrier. All the while, the employee stood outside as well and tapped at their carrier and speaking to them. They began to bark. I was talking to her about their personalities and she appeared uninterested because she continued to taunt them and tap at their carrier while they barked at her. When I completed the paperwork, she began to tell me that I may need to take them to a vet that has a groom on site due to their temperament. She then asked me to take them out of the carrier one by one and hand them to her. I handed her my pet and again, the employee starts tapping at my dog and seemed to be provoking her versus making her feel comfortable. My pets have been groomed regularly for their entire lifespan (14 years) and I’ve never seen anyone in this profession treat them this way. I expected her to reach her hand out for them to smell her or perhaps even pet them but not tap and taunt. It seemed she was unfamiliar with their breed. Total waste of time!

Lovely place, dogs look so forward to going!

They are great at keeping to their schedule and getting your dog in and out quickly. My poodle always looks wonderful when they are done with her!

They nicked my dog's ear and didn't say anything about it. They were late opening the door as well

I have always been impressed with Beth's love and patience with her furry clients. You can ask her to comb out the rats in their coats and if she thinks it is going to cause a lot of pain and stress to the dog she will not do it. She thinks of your little friend first. She loves animals and her care for them definitely shows in her grooming, and how much they look forward to being all prettied by her. She has years of experience and it is her passion. I love that she doesn't keep them all day. An hour or two and they are ready to go home. Thank you for the care that you give. You are NOT just another groomer, but you are the best. Thank you for your dedication.

I was pleased trying Spa La Paws! I love the fact that you can bring your dog in on appointment time and then pick them up right after. My dog isn't used to being crated and that didn't have to happen. I really wanted to be sure she had the bichon full face groom and I couldn't have asked for better. She looks fabulous!

Incredibly friendly staff and excellent customer service. These ladies know their stuff and treat our dogs as if they were their own. You can’t beat decades of experience and knowledge. Pricing is on point with other groomers; remember they are offering a specialized service, and you get what you pay for. I’ve never had a good experience with a ‘cheap’ groomer or a chain franchise. Wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else.

I’ve known and trusted Beth with my pets for over twenty years. We have followed her since 1995 and wouldn’t dream of using someone else. She truly cares about her clients. We refer to her as Aunt Beth at our house. Definitely part of the family!

Beth and stephanie take great care of my fur babies. She always let's me know if they notice anything out of sorts of my sweet pups. Have been going to her for years and I would go to no one else. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a loving groomer who will take care of your dogs and not crate them.

My pup is literally there for 1 hour and comes out looking, smelling & hair feeling great plus she seems happy when I pick her up (not stressed like at the last place)....don't miss your appointment tho, they fill up fast and charge $40 for no call no show

Beth has been grooming our families pets since 1992, we followed her throughout her career because she does such a beautiful job and we were so happy for her when she decided to open her own shop. Our dogs love her and the staff she employs has the same love for dogs as she does.

I love this groomer! They were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous, and they did an amazing job grooming our Abby! Best part is that they don't keep your dog for 8 hours like most other places, they had her groomed in about an hour! Won't go anywhere else!!

My Maltese loves it when I take him for his grooming, Beth and staff are very loving and caring ladies. They take good care of my little gem and they provide quality grooming services. I recommend them to everyone.
