I don’t even know where to begin! My dog had a tumor removed from his ear at another vet. 10 days later I brought him back to get his stitches removed. 3 stitches for a giant wound. It popped right open. And there’s nothing they can apparently do except for just let it breathe and heal and put a cone on. I spent my Christmas in tears searching for an emergency room that wasn't a 10 hour wait as blood dripped down my dog all day. Off and on we tried to bandage him and stop the bleeding but for several days it just wouldn’t stick. And they went above and beyond and even though they were busy let me drop him off and took amazing care of him. They were constantly keeping in touch and doing everything they could. Within 24 hours he was healing, the wound was half the size, and he was back to his normal! I can’t thank them enough

Excellent service and bedside manners. Took my fur baby in for diarrhea and not eating or drinking. When Dr. Lewis found out that there was a 2nd fur baby at home he asked if I could bring him in for safety precautions. Not only did he work 1 fur baby but 2 on a Friday! Now that's family it been a long time since I've had such an awesome caring team working together and got the job done. Reasonable prices nice friendly faces lots of fun and laughs. Oh and yes I am talking about a vetinary in 2021!

Appointment was right on time. I was given a lot of information and options on the choices I could make for our sweet girl Lexi. Came up with a plan and got our test results promptly and will pick up her meds tomorrow (just a UTI, she'll be fine!). I'm pretty sure I found our new vet.

I've had great experiences taking my dogs to the My Family Vet clinic.

I have been using My Family Vet for over 15 years for my animals and have loved them. Recently things have changed and it forced me to find a new Vet Clinic. 1. It is extremely difficult to speak to someone live. I called several times and no one answered. The recording says to text them and you get a text after you call telling you to text them. After texting back and forth several times with no resolution, I was frustrated and said I just want to speak to someone live. They then called me. It took over 10 minutes to make an appointment that should have only taken 1 to 2 minutes over the phone. 2. They will not see two dogs at the same time or right after each other. Both of my small dogs are having skin allergies and the vet would not schedule an appointment for both or allow me to schedule one after the other. She said that Dr. Scott does not allow them to schedule that way. I could schedule one in the morning and one in the afternoon or both on different days. That is extremely inconvenient! I have to take off a full day or 2 half days just to take my dogs to the vet. I called another vet nearby and they answered the phone and made an appointment for both dogs at the same time, in less than 5 minutes. And they took all our info since we were new to them. Wow! I canceled my appointments with My Family Vet and will not be returning.

I love taking our French Bulldog, Tugg, to My Family Vet. Not only are the girls at the front so friendly like Charlie, Jose and others (if I could name everyone of the front girls, I would genuinely do so as Tugg would definitely want me to!) I adore Dr. Chan too because she shows genuine care for Tugg - and she is familiar and knowledgeable with the special needs of his breed - which that alone is a definite plus-plus! Since coming home with us, Tugg has been a special boy and we have been to My Family Vet on what seemed to be a weekly basis. Instead of becoming aggravated at us constantly having more appointments and new question after new question. Dr. Chan listened and made sure to touch on each issue or concern. Everyone provides compassionate care and individual attention to Tugg - to where even he loves to come there! My Family Vet is exactly who you need to make sure your special family members are given the best in Veternary care.

By far the best vet I have ever been to! The love and compassion they show to their families is wonderful! They helped me save a kitten, taken my dog in for emergency surgery, and showed nothing but patience and kindness when I had to say goodbye to my 18 year old cat. I will be forever grateful to My Family Vet.

We've been taking our pups here for about 2 yrs. We have a pit mix and a little girl we are unsure of her mix. The staff here is super helpful, knowledgeable, quick with appointments and great with reminders which I need. Wouldn't take my pups anywhere else. They have our trust 100%.

Had a really good time. All staff is very nice and makes me feel like I can really trust them with my kitten. I really appreciate how they did the vaccines in front of me. Usually at other vet clinics they take the cats away from me giving both my cat and me anxiety. I am definitely coming back and I will bring my older cat as well.

Always a good experience when we bring our dog to My Family Vet, except for the wait times are longer than they should be when you have an appointment set up. The attention is good and place is well taken care of.

The staff here is great and they seem to really care about my pet. Their prices are comparable to others and I’m a happy customer.

I have been going to Dr. Scott and her wonderful team of doctors for over 15 years. They have lovingly cared for our dogs (all rescues) at all stages of their lives from puppyhood until the time when we have to help them over the rainbow bridge. They sat with us and prayed over us as we said goodbye to our furry family members. I drive over an hour to get to their location, but it is well worth it.

My Family Vet is the only place I take my precious Angel (Morkie). We love Dr. Scott. In my opinion you couldn't find a better doctor anywhere. Dr. Scott is always friendly, professional and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Staff is very friendly and they get you quickly. I love My Family Vet, Dr. Scott and employees!

Very friendly! Great with our cat though we had to go somewhere else for the cat getting spayed due to the price

I feel MFV charges a bit more than other vet offices and wait times for initial assessment once in a room are quite long. However, the short drive and the friendly, caring staff, large facility definitely deserve 4 stars

All the employees and doctors are so awesome they gave my fur baby lots of cuddles and kisses she went in with allergies and ear infection they gave her good medicine and she is doing so well, I will continue to take my Fluffy here I highly recommend this place to others

I highly recommend My Family Vet. We've had to say goodbye to 2 of our precious pups, the compassion & kindness shown in such a painful time helped us through the process. We're incredibly thankful for them & the love they've shown.

We have been using this place since we moved to Texas back in 2005, it came recommended from a from our veterinarian in California she went to school with the owner of my Family Vet.

Cannot thank the doctors and staff at My Family Vet enough for their very kind and compassionate service to me and my son on August 10th of this year when we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog of 12 years who was suffering from a cancerous nasal cavity tumor. They treated us with overwhelming love and respect when we arrived to have her euthanized. Nobody ever wants to go through the pain and heartache of having to put down a sick and/or elderly pet. They explained the process completely and candidly, making sure we understood how the procedure would go, then led us to a lovely and comforting room with couches, a large comfy dog bed, and children's books on coping with the loss of a pet (the one I picked up and read aloud to my dog was what I refer to as the "Goodnight Moon" of dogs for dying pets.). I asked if my dog could be cremated along with her favorite stuffed duck, and they responded "I don't see why not!" While this was happening, they had candles burning in their lobby next to a sign that they had posted asking other customers to kindly remain quiet and respectful as someone was saying goodbye to their beloved pet, which I thought was a very sweet and respectful gesture. Their fees for the service were fair and reasonable, and considerably less than many other vets in the local area, but it was their gentle kindness in our time of deep sadness that will remain with me and keep bringing me back for the veterinary needs of my future pets. I don't wish this kind of grief on anybody, but considering the short life span of a dog, it is inevitable. I hope that when the time comes for others to have to say goodbye to their beloved pets, they will remember my experience and consider bringing them to the wonderful staff at My Family Vet. Thank you, My Family Vet, for making the unbearable experience of saying goodbye to my beloved Samantha a bittersweet and loving memory that I will always cherish.

My dog needed 2 vaccines, he got those. I felt comfortable having my dog seen there

I'm so happy we found this clinic. The staff are incredible in so many different ways, and they truly care about your pets! Also, the decorations are a real hoot. UPDATE: It's 2 years later, and I just wanted to add onto my previous review. I adore this clinic and their staff. Every single person has been helpful and available whenever we needed them. They go above and beyond to ensure you and your pets are taken care of, and every time I walk into the clinic I feel welcomed.

I love this place so much Dr scott Dr Hendrix are truly so caring and loving understanding and patient. All the employees love and care for your pet as their own.
