My Ori loves this place so much... he's always so happy to arrive & LITERALLY cries when he has to leave. The staff is so attentive & kind. I highly recommend this place.

I love picking up my grand dogs Dwayne and RocketMan! They are both always happy and excited to see me but also exhausted from visiting with all their friends throughout the day!

I was very hesitant to board my dog anywhere because I never have. They wanted to do a trial run with day card beforehand to see how she did and evaluate her. The staff made me feel very comfortable about leaving her in their care. After boarding, she smelled and looked amazing. She didn’t have any disruptions in behavior or eating. Love this place!

We love this place! After using other local options we found the right place! Prices are great and our digs always come home happy and tired! We highly recommend Family Pet Retreat!

Lucifer loved this place he cried for about a week after getting back to Illinois just to go back.... He would grab is doggy backpack and want to leave at 7am to go here but we were gone but trust me this place is the best.......

Do not take your pets here!!! I thought this place would take care of my puppy while I was out of town. I called everyday to check on her and all I get us she's doing good she's fine. So the day my mom goes to pick her up my puppy eye is BLUSH RED. They want to explain about it being a cherry eye but yet their not vets to diagnose her with anything. I asked why no one called to inform me and their response was " we dont want to scare you while your away" F that I should know anything that's going on with my puppy. I will never take her here again

My two GSD spent 2 nights and there were no issues, one of the best boarding, the staff are friendly, professional and followed instructions.

Staff has always treated my dog Kanan like their own pet. He loves his time there.

I just took a tour of the facility and it looks nice and clean well be letting my cat stay there probably in August or September and I hope that the facility employees do take good care of the animals

Absolutely the best kennel in Houston. Such a nice group of employees who always take care of our German Shephard Pebbles. Prices are affordable, and the best in town. These guys genuinely care for your Dog. They are also groomers.

They took good care of my dog while I was out of town for the weekend. I purchased grooming services, and my guy was clean, freshly cut and smelling great when I picked him up! I'll use them next time I travel!

Everytime we take our dogs to the family pet retreat they get so excited. This is the only place I feel comfortable talking my dogs when we go out of town. I highly recommend them!

We have left our two babies with them several times now and wouldn’t take them anywhere else. They are so kind and take such good care of our dogs. Even though we usually go a year between stays the staff remembers such specific things about our pups. “Oh Lucy and Lucky! Lucy is so cute with that funny face she makes when she is playful”. That really let me know that the staff interacts with our dogs and it shows their genuine love for animals. The first time we left them for 2 nights, then 4 and this year we had to leave them for 8 nights over the holidays. I would not feel comfortable leaving my babies anywhere else for this long. The staff never seems annoyed when I call to check how they are doing and give me details of how they’ve been and what they’ve been up to. If you need a safe loving place for you fur babies this is it! They are in little bedrooms with toddler beds, not kennels, and they get plenty of attention. 100% recommend Family Pet Retreat!!

My dog seems to like it. Nothing fancy just a good and affordable place for the furr baby

The facility and staff here were nice and attentive, however my dogs left the place with this weird chemical smell on them. Not sure if we would return.

Staff is awesome! Love this place. Its the only place I leave my dogs.

The people here really love the animals. We took our 6 month old puppies here while we were on a week long cruise they were happy and healthy when we got back. When we got there they were playing with the other dogs and didn't want to leave at first.
