I brought my dog here due to her rapid breathing & throwing up. Without any tests, the doctors came back to me saying my dog had pneumonia & that the only options were to pay 2000 or put her down. After hours of crying & them constantly …

I was sent here by our veterinarian! Our vet said we need emergency surgery… luckily there was a doctor there who was very confident she could remove the foreign body materials without cutting him open! So that was awesome! My only reason for the low stars is because of the estimate I was given at the beginning was around 2,000 I ended up paying 4,300!! My dog stayed 1 night and had 1 operation! and the receptionist were SOOO UNPROFESSIONAL! And clueless about what was going on. I told them two times I was picking up my dog from discharge and the two ladies continued to keep saying something about my dog having surgery tomorrow? I had to tell THEM what was going. Also if you don’t have at least 4,500 you cannot even leave your dog there for the night! And even if they promise you all that money won’t be used its gonna be used I promise you! These people are sneaky about draining your money while you cry and worry about your pet. But I had to give 3 stars because I will say my dog is doing much better! I definitely would never say the price was fit for the situation but at least I have my buddy back! If you’re case isn’t an emergency I highly highly recommend making an appointment with atascocita animal hospital! When my dog had surgery with them it was MUCH more price efficient

Worst place to go. Waited 3 hours in the waiting room my dog was not seen. Others animals were seen before my dog. They made me pay 65 dollars to contact poison control because I gave my dog aspirin for pain which is approved for dogs. I just walked out worst place ever to take your animals

I have nothing but good to say about this place. My puppy swallowed 30 motrin and by all accounts he should had passed. This place was aggressive and saved his little life. He is doing great now thus far. Highly recommended.

Dr. Butts was so kind and comforting during such a tough time, we were a mess and she gave us clear options and information, asked if we had any questions and helped us find a reasonable option for our dogs surgery. I sincerely appreciate everything they did to help us save our family dog, we have 7 children that would have been devastated to loose him!!

Had amazing service on Saturday! Our pup Hayden got into a scuffle at the dog park and hurt his eye. Had a decent wait time for it being a Saturday and an emergency vet. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

That Animal Hospital is a Joke! This was my 2nd time going due to it’s the closest to my house. The 1st time they said” we have a dog in surgery now and said they can’t help at ALL”! It says 24hr Emergency Vet but really it’s not at all! I just brought my dog again in and again we have 1 vet and can’t help you! That’s wasted time that is valuable due to it’s an “Emergency”! SMH just not a 24 hr vet and also the staff were not compassionate at ALL! I do not recommend ever going there!!!!

Was able to spend my dogs final moments here before he was euthanized. It was an emergency as his kidneys were failing rapidly. I called ahead and asked if there would be a wait because he was in so much pain. They said they’d be able to start immediately, and my family would get to be with him the entire time. The staff was very understanding and let us have all the time we needed to spend with him, before and after the procedure. Thanks again to all the staff here.

Emergency clinic? Took dog for possible poisoning- told to call an Animal Poision Control Center to get referral for the vet at Blue Pearl - did so - all they were interested in was collecting $65 - when they got the money was told that would be a 4hr wait. Go somewhere else.

If i could give a rating of 0 stars i would, this place told me my dog was not going to make it and actually wanted to put him down, i decided to leave and go somewhere else and now my dog is up and running around playing like normal, the psychological damages they gave us was the worst experience ever....

My boy Jack had some urinary issues. Took him in to BluePearl. They took him right away. They explained what was going on and made me at ease. They were so great! Thanks to Dr. Harris and the staff.

Had such a wonderful experience here! The staff are amazing and so friendly. This also operates as an ER option for those unlucky pet owners, but the front office staff is so sympathetic and lovely. We saw Dr. Hinton for a very specialized surgery for my fur baby, Monty. She was fantastic! The care and love they showed Monty had me right at ease. I would recommend them to anyone seeking an ER vet or a speciality animal hospital in the Houston area.

I took my dog tonight, the manager was amazing and while they could have charged me a lot of money they didn’t. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much Blue Pearl and thank you so much Jessica. I really appreciate your honestness!!

We rushed our Great Dane here and they were AMAZING with him and so kind, patient and understanding with us. Unfortunately he did not make it. I was offered the paw print and when I picked it up I was incredibly happy with the way it turned out. They definitely put some time in this piece. I absolutely recommend this hospital. They handle everything with such respect and you really feel how much they care.

The reason for this 1 star is because we payed a lot of money to only know what has happened to our dog they did a urine exam and other things but never called us for the results or told us what was happening we payed for like $1,500 and more but Barely did nothing nor the ultra sound that they said they where gonna do.

I went to Blue Pearl today as a recommendation from my dog's vet. I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews. Let me tell you, I was so pleasantly surprised! From the office staff, to the technician and to the wonderful vet, they all did an awesome job! They were very professional, helpful and explained everything so thoroughly. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Thank you Blue Pearl! :)

If I could give 0 stars I would! I wish i would have read the reviews before taking my puppy there! Like i saw in a review THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY! I took my puppy in bc she fell from a pretty high distance. I told them from the beginning that i just wanted to see if she was okay or if it was a serious case, not minding to pay the consultation fee.. but it turned out to them that she needed surgery and to stay with them for 2-3 weeks (which i found crazy & the fee for that would have been $1000/24hr) when I told them that at the moment i wasn’t going to be able to pay for it all at once (because they dont do payment plans) ; one of the assistance told me that they have an option where i can sign a paper agreeing to giving away my puppy to a rescue/foster team (which i found very rude because i felt like i was being told that i did not care). They refused to give me back my puppy after i told them many times that i was going to bring her back home and take her first thing in the morning to a vet. The assistant stated that a vet would be even more expensive than them. Anyways….. I do not recommend this place at all!

Took my 7month old kitten on the 10th with a fever of 106.8. They took him in right away. Tested him for everything. Made me feel comfortable that he is being taken care of. We were only there for 2hrs which was shocking how quick we got out of there. My kitten is feeling so much better after the medication they gave him.

Do not go here!!! Go down the freeway to conroe animal hospital. These people lack empathy and want to make money off you. The only reason we were here was because vet recommended them for scanning services. They told us we would get taken care of through emergency over the phone and then when we showed up they said we'd have to have our pet in hospital until next day to get a scan even though it was 9 in morning. If you're an emergency hospital why can you not treat an emergency until the next day? You just want to profit off people that love their animals. Please beware! They want your pet to die and then make money off it.

Please listen to these vets if they tell you your dog isn't ready to go home. I did not and lost my beloved pet. The vets here may be abrupt and insensitive to your feelings as an owner but their job is saving animals and they put that task first. Learn from my mistake and let the vets here do their thing.

This is a very expensive place, but it IS a 24/7 animal hospital so you really have no choice if there's an emergency and other clinics are closed. This is what happened to me as I had an emergency with my dog but the staff were very upfront about the price and even offered to help find more affordable places if we were unable to pay. Fortunately, we were able to get my dog treated here and I eventually took him to a more affordable place for additional treatment to lessen costs. I could tell the staff really cared about the well being of my dog, as they helped me find other clinics that I could go to that was less expensive and also checked to make sure these clinics offered services that was needed to nurse my dog back to health. Overall, I am really grateful that this clinic is open 24/7, as I don't know what I would've done if I couldn't find one that was. Now, despite the fact that this place is wonderful and the staff is great, I have to reiterate that this place is very expensive. Their services are reliable, and you can expect the utmost care for your furry friend, but the prices are steep. Just keep that in mind.

I came here around 6:30 pm through the recommendation from my vets office after my dog had eaten a pound of chocolate. When I got there the wait time was pretty high however, my dogs case was highly emergent and I was able to be seen quickly. They did a great job of explaining to me the progression of illness and what measures were to be taken/expected. Additionally they were able to help me manage the cost. They gave me a high estimate, but also explained that the cost is variable and dependent on the needs of my dog. I was very thankful for all that they did for my dog. I left her there for two nights and was delighted to recieve text updates and images from her care takers. The doctor called me once a day to discuss treatment and plans. They also were able to give me all the information I needed for insurance purpose before I left the facility with my healthy dog. I would 100% use BluePearl again in case of an emergency. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!

Long wait time. Made me call an animal poison control line which refused to talk to me until I paid 65$. I thought the vet would figure out if there was a poisoning problem???

Not off to a good start. Seem money hungry. They can’t even give me a guesstimate on what the repair of a torn ACL will cost unless we come in for a $200 assessment. Other clinics have given me prices ranging from $3000 to $6000. We have X-rays and initial assessment from another vet and surgeon.

We took our Yorkie here at 3 am due to rapid breathing. We were immediately checked in and they immediately took our Yorkie in the back. All of the doctors and nurses here are extremely knowledgeable and explain everything in a way that you can understand. They do not rush you, they take their time when talking to you. They really care about all of their patients. They let us go in the back to see our dog before we went home. I was surprised at how many people were working in the back at that time of night and by how extensive it was. There were easily 25+ people in the back working and I instantly knew my dog would be safe and well-cared for. No, it is not cheap as this is a full veterinary hospital. However, they do not nickel and dime you, as overall their individual rates are a bit less than the regular vet. For example, I paid over $800 for an echocardiogram at my vet office and paid a little over $500 for the same thing here. They do talk to you about cost up front because they don't want you to be taken by surprise. Overall, our experience was great, in spite of the anxiety we felt with our dog being so sick. The doctor called every time when she said she would call, we were never left hanging. We even called once at night just to check on our dog before we went to bed. If it's the middle of the night or after hours and your dog is having an emergency, this is the best place to go as your dog will have a fighting chance. They provide thorough instructions upon his discharge as well as an itemized bill.

BE CAREFUL!!!! It can turn into a hustle opportunity if your not careful. They were about to do a surgery on my pet on something that was non existent for 3,800 when all my dog needed was to me “fixed” for thousands less! I wish I had that veterinarian on tape.. she talked as though my pet had no chance of making it without this surgery. AND SHES NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES THIS! Please get second opinions!!!!! They get you at your most vulnerable moment. AND DON’T BELIEVE THIOSE 5 STAR RATINGS.. they get people to do that to “overshadow” the seriousness at hand. Get second opinions people! Please. These doctors are not like they used to be!

Our chaweenie was seen here after a dog attack and we were very concerned i honestly didn’t have any money at the time and so they were kind enough to rule out internal bleeding by x-ray but then they s said he had a collapsed lung. The assistant then came in the room and the first question she asked was if we were going to get a second opinion???? No why would we??? Then she proceeded to tell us the dog probably wouldn’t make it through the night. I’m not sure why she said that because the very next day our dog was almost 100%. I’m just confused why they would ask if we were going somewhere else and the try to prepare us for our dog to pass away.
