This is an excellent facility. Doctors and staff are exceptional! Dr. Bulavas is a 5 star surgeon. Have been using their services for 15 + years. Highly recommend!

Hands down, the best Veterinarian and Boarding Kennel we’ve ever seen. Our dogs get so excited when we pull up in front of the building!

Took my dog in for a UTI. They ended up finding a big sized blood clot in her tummy. The vet was very informative and super kind. I'll be taking my dogs here from now on!

Really disappointed in the office staff. Communication is terrible and they have treated us terribly when we try to ask for support, clarification, or even simple respect. They are really rude and blame their patrons for their own mistakes. It’s a real shame because we love DR Kelly and have gone here for years. Well, as of today, “went”.

Being newer to this area, I chose to bring my dog here due to the location and Dr. Kelly ended up being the vet that saw her. She went above and beyond communicating with me by phone several times throughout the day, updating me on my dog’s status. Sadly, my dog had very serious liver issues with very advanced diabetes, so I ended up taking her to The Animal Emergency in Conroe for her further bloodwork and care. Unfortunately, upon further investigation and consultation with the vet there, we agreed it would be best for my little elderly girl to be put to sleep. Although the outcome was not a happy one, I felt Dr. Kelly at the Animal Hospital of The Woodlands was so very kind , calling around much of the afternoon in order to find a place that accepted CareCredit to help with the costs incurred. This clinic even sent my family a Sympathy card for the loss of our dog, even though she was put to sleep in Conroe. I felt that was such a classy move on their part, making me feel better that my little girl was in good hands her last day here. I feel when the time is right for our family get another animal companion, I would not hesitate to use Dr. Kelly for the veterinarian.

I have been taking my two dogs (Maccew McConaughey & Yung Cheech) to the Animal Hospital of The Woodlands for awhile now and not once have I ever had an issue with them. They've always welcomed us with open arms and make my dogs feel very comfortable every time. The communication and care from the doctors and staff is by far the best I have seen and experienced. I assume this is why they continue to rank #1 for Best in The Woodlands. Thank you Animal Hospital of The Woodlands!!

Took my Boxer in because he was acting lethargic. The receptionist 1st said they couldn't see him, then offered to if I gave them $700 upfront. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend them.

We absolutely love The Animal Hospital in The Woodlands. We have a 7 yr old black lab that has battled skin allergies his whole life. Because we have moved a lot over the years he has seen multiple vets with no success. Dr Kelly was so sweet and got a treatment plan in place and he is doing awesome. We also have a new Maltipoo pup and the service and grooming for him has been excellent. :)

Great Staff and Professionalism. We had just moved back from Colorado to Texas and our dog had extreme issues one morning. Brought her here, the closest to the house and the staff did everything to help our girl. Thank you!

This place has been so wonderful to our family. They have taken excellent care of my cats - even saved one’s life as a kitten. I absolutely trust them and would recommend them 100% and they’re priced, too.

This place is NOT CHEAP but they are professional & the only vet closeby out of 3 that would see my dog in an Emergency situation when I had not been there before (& I had been to the other 2 vets I called). That says a lot in my book!

They are a little pricey, but we do love this place. We found them because they were so close to where we lived at the time, but we still go there even though we moved. They were very helpful when we brought our dog in after he ran into a bolt at our apartment complex. The surgery called for tubes to be put in and they were very helpful on how to care for him. All our animals also love coming here, which makes vet trips easy.

We switched to Animal Hospital of the Woodlands almost 5 years ago. We have been nothing but pleased ever since. We are long time pet owners and have dealt with many vets over the years as we have moved around. The folks at AHotW are as good as it gets. A recent visit is a perfect example. We came in with our two dogs and one cat. Dr. Kelley and her tech, Krystal, were so warm and welcoming to the pets. Well, to them, not pets, but “the kids.” Instead of putting the dogs up on a cold metal table, both Dr. Kelley and Krystal got down on the floor with them. While accomplishing the needed assessments, they loved on the dogs and gave them quality attention. Throughout the process, they were pleasant and communicative with us. By the end of the day, we had a follow-up call to review the post-visit lab results. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Animal Hospital of the Woodlands to anybody in the area looking for a vet!

One of the worst experiences I've had with a vet ever. Our vet referred us to Animal Hospital of The Woodlands for our dog's international health certificate. From the beginning, very little was done to facilitate the process and communication from the vet has been minimal. I have had to reschedule our flights TWICE because I relied on their knowledge and expertise in terms of the timeline for our dog's health certificate. TWICE they were wrong and TWICE I've had to pay fees with the airline to change the flight. I am now going to have to do this for a THIRD time. Two weeks ago I called and spoke to the office manager who is one of two people at the practice who deals with international health certificates. I asked if she was sure that no more tests were needed for our dog before our dog had his final physical. I was promised that all was good. Last Monday I got to the vet for this exam only to find out that there were two more tests that needed to be done. "We didn't know" was the lame excuse. So, as the 'experts' they did not call USDA to clarify what was needed to for the health certificate? Blood samples were taken and I was told the tests would take three to four days. It's a week now. I just spoke to the office manager and she is blaming the lab. What an absolute shame. NOT happy. I asked what she thinks the solution is and as could be expected she had none. After all, it's only a case of our flights being changed AGAIN, racking up our financial loss to more than $800 in flight changing fees. What a shame. She promised to have the practice owner call me tomorrow morning. I am skeptical; however, if he does, it will be interesting to see how this complaint is solved.

Not even one star!!! I just took my dog who was clearly in a state of emergency (not moving and with diahrrea) and said they were all busy and could not attend her for another 2 hours. They have been my vet for several years, I have always thought they charged a lot but was okay with it is since I did not want to move my dog to a different vet. They constantly send me reminders of what my dogs is due for (more money for them). Now that I take her for an EMERGENCY they cannot see her. WILL NOT COME BACK and DO NOT recommend you to go with them in the first place.

If your loving pet gets hurt inside their cage, they dont take responsibility for that; they will always put the blame on your pet and not on the type of cage they enclosed your pet in. After everything, you have to pay for all medical treatment and medication after such injury in their facility, that's their Policy. Think twice if this is the kind of place you would leave your loving pet to be taken care of, because this is a true situation that happened to my pet when she ripped out her nail in their cage, with a potential chance of infection.

Being new to the area, I was terrified to find a new vet for my baby. We landed on the Animal Hopsital of the Woodlands. For standard vet check types of appointments, it was fine. However, when it came to what mattered most-my dog’s life, I am devastated to say that they were unsympathetic and absolutely not the type of staff I would recommend to anyone in such a situation. In short, my FIVE year old black lab was taken in for diarrhea, vomiting, and weight loss. We decided to put him on antibiotics for two days after blood work revealed an extremely elevated white blood cell count. Mind you, in my state of paranoia, I failed to realize I bought 10 days of antibiotics even though it was only supposed to be for two days. It wouldn’t have mattered though, because he never made it to 10 days. I came back three days later for their suggested checkup and more pricey blood work which revealed continued elevation of the white blood cell count. The antibiotics were not working. They explained that these counts suggested he could be dying and something is seriously wrong. I waited for over an hour laying on the floor crying, holding my FIVE year old lab. They suggested an x-ray, which I agreed to. Again, we waited. On the floor. Alone. Scared. The x-ray showed “something” they could not make out. They suggested I go to emergency surgery elsewhere right away because they were not equipped to take care of such a serious operation/post op care. I took off immediately, but was chased out the door by the vet tech asking if I wanted him to run my credit card in to the front desk. WHAT?!?! I’m trying to get my dog into emergency surgery and you’re chasing me for payment? Long story short, my boy did not make it through the surgery. This was October 12th. Going on three months now and NOT ONE employee, vet, vet tech, NOONE, has called to check on how surgery went, much less offfer condolences for what actually ended up happening. I think that’s what I’m most upset about. I left frantically, balling, hyperventilating, in what ended up being the worst day ever, and not one person thought to pick up the phone. Extremely disappointing.
