Staff very good with our dog.

We have been taking our fur babies (cats and dogs) to Dr Bruce Fusselman at Lake Cities Animal Clinic for 22+ years. They will always fit us in their schedule, are reasonably priced, and our animals are happy to see Dr Bruce. He is gentle, knowledgeable and empathetic, as is his entire staff.

My family has been bringing our pets to Dr. Fusselman for probably close to 30 years now. Now that I'm older and married and we have pets of our own, we continue to bring them to Dr. Fusselman despite living in east Plano because we trust him so thoroughly. We have seen a couple of other vets for emergency reasons and it seems many of them push unnecessary services/supplements/Science Diet on you. Never once have I felt like Dr. Fusselman has suggested a service or procedure that I felt was unnecessary and he has always been a proponent of raw diets for our dogs, despite likely losing out on some kick backs from dog food manufacturers. All that to say Dr. Fusselman is a genuinely great vet and I absolutely trust him with the health of our dogs which are a part of our family.

My experience with him is, he will take the time to educate you on your pet's condition, why it's happening, and what kinds of treatments there are. He will tell you straight and not try to upsell you anything. He is a trustworthy and generous. Thumbs up.

We have used this clinic for nearly 20 years. For various reasons, I have had to use other vets in the area, and Dr. Fusselman is my hands down favorite!

I called to get an estimate on a wellness exam, was told they are not accepting new clients and got hung up on mid thank you. I understand if you are not taking new pets but I was just baffled by the abrupt phone call and tone of the person I spoke with. I don’t think I will ever take my cat here if they start taking new clients.

We have been with Dr. Fusselman for the care of both of our dogs. During those 8 years, Dr. Fusselman has been very attentive, caring, and reasonably priced compared to other vets in the area. Often when I have had concerns he has been available to talk briefly on the phone. This is especially helpful since he’s able to give me a few tips without me having to always bring my dogs into the office. I highly recommend his practice!

I had been a loyal customer of Dr Fusselman since 2009. What had me hooked was the personal attention that he gave during each visit and he always gave a fair price on his services. However; I noticed a steady decline on the quality of service and his prices continued to go up. Whats really upsetting is we had somewhat of an emergency with one of my dogs a few weeks ago and I called to bring him in and I was told that the Dr would not be in until 4PM and I was calling around 10AM. What good is your doctor if he is not around when you need him?

Dr. Fusselman is an awesome vet. I lived in Keller for years then moved to Fort Worth, I still trek back to Southlake for the old and new dogs. He helps to explain things so you understand and wants to help you make the best decisions for the care of your dogs. He truly cares about his patients and their owners. I won't go anywhere else, I've tried (for convenience where I live) but always end up back here. He's simply the best!

Wonderful care that is honest and practical! The whole staff is caring and compassionate, they have the best interest of the animal as a guiding principle. So different from other practices which seem to mainly focus on how to make more money from upselling useless services and products.
