I am writing on behalf of my sisters experience with Dr. Adams, and how she would come home so upset every time she took her dog in for any visit. My sister loves her dog and gives her the best care she can but Dr. Adams would always speak to her so condescendingly and treat her with such disdain, i could not believe the things she would tell me about her visit. As mentioned by other reviews it was cold and heartless and rude. she did say the girls at the front desk were always nice and helpful when the Dr. would not give her the time of day, so thank you for that ladies. We have moved on recently but felt compelled to share this information, she was so hurtful and not helpful to my sister and her new pup, there was no loving, caring instruction and guidance given, she always felt scorned and lost, the Dr. was curt and disrespectful to my sister, we have no idea why.

This veternarian was extremely rude and insisted on amputating my cat’s leg for alarming prices when it wasn’t even necessary. Do NOT see this doctor she will take your money and mutilate your pet without batting an eye. turns out my cat was fine living with the nerve damage after receiving multiple diagnosis from other local veterinarians. This vet is EVIL AND CORRUPT

I wish I'd have been able to meet Dr. Adams and her staff under better circumstances. My cat, Odin, was ill and they were able to get us in for a check up with little notice. It didn't take long at all for Dr. Adams to identify the problem and present options for us in a clear, matter of fact but compassionate manner. Being a vet is one of the hardest jobs in the world, and being able to level with a client while also being compassionate and empathetic is rare. I'm truly thankful for Dr. Adams and staff for their care and for making our last moments with my best friend full of warmth and understanding.

Stay away at all costs. After spending in excess of $700 the vet refused to approve a refill for my dogs medication from Costco. She pushes hard for you to purchase medication from her as apposed to you going to a pharmacy. If you do not use her, she charges a $5 fee for her staff to call in a prescription. I was able to save 3X the cost for the medication she recommended. I questioned this policy to her staff yesterday & was told I would get a call back -- so far no call back. While at Costco I asked the pharmacist if this was unusual for a VET to charge a fee for calling in a prescription for a sick dog & they said it VERY unusual and the pharmacist rolled her eyes. So to me, it seems like a money grab. The way this VET practices it is obvious profits come before the care of animals. BUYER BEWARE!

I give one star because my dog didn’t die while staying there. Everyone there is clueless. The vet doesn’t know answers to questions I ask. And the staff is not in sync with the doctor. Everyone gave me different answers throughout the day and at the end of the day my dog was still sick vomiting and throwing up. I know have spend $255 which would have been more if I didn’t put my foot down with all the things she wanted me to do. Never going back

Dr. Adams is cold hearted, extremely rude, and careless. Her staff is exactly the same way. Its a systemic issue with this vet. She pushes you to get in and out as fast as possible even if she just diagnosed your pet with terminal cancer. She gave me a quote of how much it would cost to do everything, she ended up doing another couple hundred dollars of extra work that I did not approve. She had many chances to tell me she did the extra work and my bill would be double but I did not find out until I went to pay. The staff are extremely rude as well. She actually held x-rays and information hostage because I politely told her that I should have been notified of the extra work. I asked for the x-ray I paid for but she refused because I asked for a refund on the extra work done that I did not approve. She is pathetic and petty. She should find a new field of work. I was not as upset about the extra work and money...it was the way she and her staff spoke to me after I politely asked for an explanation of the surprise bill. Extremely rude and outright lied about the situation. Her staff then covered for her saying that she told me about the extra work, little did they know I was already talking with Dr. Adams through email and she admitted she should have called to tell me about the additional work. I have most of her complete carelessness, lies, and rudeness all in email. How can you be so dumb as to treat a customer so poorly via email. What a joke that place is.

This vet must only have an associates degree. Does she even enjoy the company of animals. I felt nothing but cold lack of desire or motivation. to start i can't wear masks and was forced to wear one. I would have left but we were already in the room where they check the pet. Nancy asked if i had a mask i said no and said go get him one to one of the girls that works there. I put it on. I absolutely hate this woman and will not go back for any follow ups.

When I had no vet in the area (recent transplant from NJ), PMC stepped up and filled that void with professional excellence. I'm a fan and new client....

I started bringing my boxer, Homes, to this office about 2 and a half years ago. I was previously at a vets office that I really felt was taking advantage of me. He was having a recurrent infection and I kept getting the run around with them. After spending over $1500 in 4 months, I brought him in and the problem was taken care of within a week. We adopted another puppy in our family recently and they are wonderful with her as well. The staff is very friendly and professional. Would recommend to everyone!!

You are always greeted very professional as you enter into the clinic. My wait time to see the doctor has never been over 10 minutes, NEVER. Most of the time, I arrive they have always put me into a room. Dr. Adams is a very understanding vet, she listens to all your concerns very well; Dr. Adams will explain her findings very well to you after her examination. I find her mostly Professional, very reliable and outstanding doctor I ever have used thru the 31 years I had dogs. I have 7 rescue dogs that Dr. Adams cares for, and I really feel; I get treated as if they were her dogs. Pet Medical Center of Clear Lake is very very reasonable on there pricing as well.

Dr. Adams and her technicians are so kind and accommodating. I always feel my concerns about both my dog and cat have been addressed by the end of my appointment. Such a clean and friendly place!

I moved to Austin after years of using Dr. Adams and spending thousands of thousands of dollars with this lady thru 5 animals over the years. And she refused to give my 11 year old dog her meds she NEEDS thru the chewy app so she can charge us 4 times the cost. BEWARE. THIS VET IS SCUM

I echo many of the reviews about Dr. Adams. She is cold hearted and does not seem to care that people love their animals. She is expensive and acts so distant when you need her to be more personable and caring. Go somewhere else.

I have taken my pets to Dr. Adams for about 12 years. As long as I have a pet I will always go to her and her wonderful staff. Very caring and one smart lady.

I've been going to Dr. Adams for about 9 years now. From check ups, flea & heartworm prevention, dentals you name it. I trust her with my babies which is extremely important. I have a older dog and was a nervous wreck when he was getting his dental. Caitie was so sweet and kept me updated to calm my nerves. The reviews that want to call Dr. Adams out for the way she dresses blows my mind. What year is this?! If she is able to give your pet a full exam and get blood while looking amazing, kudos to her! The way she dresses has nothing to do with the care she has always provided for my pets. I will continue to go to Pet Medical as long as I have pets! Thank you Dr. Adams & your amazing team!

Our experience at this vet was pleasant and the staff made us feel welcome and they took care of our fur baby!

I have been going to Dr. Adams for years and she always takes such great care of my 3 fur babies. My pets adore her. From an elderly dog and cat, to a rambunctious pup with a rare heart condition, she consistently provides compassion and quality care. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating. We won't go anywhere else.

After reading some of the Google reviews, I was hesitant to take our Ellie girl to Dr. Adams, but she was very sick and needed to be seen by a vet quickly. Dr. Adams office got us in the same day. The Staff was very friendly and Dr. Adams was very knowledgeable. We were quoted prices on procedures before they were done and she was very upfront about all costs. I am glad I didn't let the negative review make up my mind about Dr. Adams and her staff. We will continue to use Pet Medical Center of Clear Lake.

I called on a Friday to see if I could get my puppy in for her first shots and they got her right in on that day. I will continue to bring my baby there.

After my cat peed on the carpet at night and I woke up to him peeing on his cat bed in the morning, I knew something was wrong with him. I jumped through hoops to make an appointment at his regular vet (NOT Dr. Adams), but they called me shortly before the cat was to be seen and told me that based on the pre-appointment notes, the vet (NOT Dr. Adams) said the cat likely had a blockage and did not have the equipment necessary to help him. The vet (NOT Dr. Adams) recommended seeing a "full service" vet to take care of the cat's needs. Both alarmed that my cat maybe in such bad shape and irritated because someone could make that determination without even laying hands or eyes on him, I called around to see if I could get an appointment at a recommended "full service" vet. Based off of this information, one vet told me that they didn't have time to see my cat and recommended that I go to the emergency vet that opened at 6:00. Not satisfied that it was an emergency (I suspected the cat had a bladder infection based on how he was acting) and still wanting to be seen by a vet, I called another office; this office told me that they were booked and could not see my cat, but that Dr. Adams might have an opening and they gave me her number. I called Dr. Adams, told her office the entire situation, adding that I thought it was just a bladder infection, and asked if they could look at him at some point that day. They told me they could and to bring him in. I did and after examining the cat and running and ultra sound on him, Dr. Adams determined that there was no blockage, but he did have a bladder infection; she gave him a shot of antibiotics and started him on a diet to keep his urinary tract healthy. Not only did Dr. Adams and her staff help us when we needed it, but she also saved us hundreds of dollars in unnecessary emergency vet bills. She was professional and through in her exam of my cat and in answering all of my questions. We are grateful to Dr. Adams and her staff for helping us out in our time of need and we will be returning!

Took one of my four foster kittens here for a small concern. They were great, fairly priced and extremely helpful. I also received several follow up calls and a card sent via snail mail. I also read several reviews prior to going here. It was disheartening to see people complain because the Dr cares about her appearance and dresses well at her office. Clothing DOES NOT define a person. ACTIONS do. Her actions were kind, courteous and professional. The Best part was she was beautiful and I wanted to steal her outfit.

I am very disappointed with the care my beloved pet received. The vet has no tact and told me there was nothing she could do for my pet and I should have him put to sleep. I immediately took my cat to another vet who said with medication my cat has at least another month of comfortable life left! This vet at Pet Medical Center is rude and frankly is not fit to be taking care of anyone (pet or otherwise). Her lack of empathy is appalling, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Our four legged family member Lily has been well taken care of by Dr. Adam's and her team since we found her four years ago. We have never had a family member that actually enjoyed going to the doctor until Lily and Doc Adam's. Hidden Gem in the area right here waiting give her and Pet Medical Center a try and you'll see why we love them.

We have used Dr. Nancy Adams since she was located on Kirby here in Seabrook. She is now located on Nasa Rd. One. Check out Pet Medical Pet Center's website. We have always been happy with the concern and treatment our animals have received. Just like humans, sometimes a pet may need a repeat visit to get the exact diagnosis. I have never had this situation but mentioned it based on other reviews. My family has always found Dr. Adams to be caring, considerate and a true animal lover. Susan Wright
