I watched my dog on the webcam at the end of boarding playtime. She didn’t come to the employee when called. The employee then tried to pick her up, and she ran out of fear. The employee then chased her, and when she did finally did catch my dog, the Camp Bow Wow employee was so mad that she literally THREW my 12 lb dog across the play area in retaliation. We called the front desk immediately, but Management only told us they would look into it. Imagine being out of town and unable to immediately pick up your dog from a terrible place where you witnessed them commit a VIOLENT, ABUSIVE act against your dog. EDIT: This event happened 2/12/2018. I have not been back to the location since. However when a friend mentioned glowing reviews here, I logged back in to see my earlier review was no where to be found on Google.

The staff at Camp Bow Wow Kemah are extremely welcoming and always take good care of my boys. I always know my dogs are going to have a great day and be well taken care of when I drop them off. Kristin, Riley and Madison do an exceptional job and you can tell they take great pride in their work and have lots of love for all the dogs.

By far one of the best dog boarding businesses out this way! Milo always seems to enjoy himself and is always on the move when I check the webcams, and I LOVED the pictures that were sent with my cuddle package; Very good quality, clear, and he seemed so happy! I always recommend Camp Bow Wow to my friends who ask about dog boarding in the Galveston County area. The pictures below are from Milo's cuddle package.

We have had the most WONDERFUL experience with Camp Bow Wow Kemah!! Our nervous rescue dog has been brought out of her shell by the gentle & patient staff! We were sold on them months ago, but will now be lifelong campers after our most recent experience during Hurricane Nicholas! My husband & I were out of state during the storm, and our Bailey girl was at camp with her friends! When the weather forecasts escalated from Tropical Storm to Hurricane, we were contacted to be made aware a staff member would be staying at the facility overnight with the pups to make sure all was well! We received updates from them multiple times per day letting us know all was well with our girl! They staff here are OUTSTANDING!! I would (and have) highly recommend them to any dog mom or dad!!! I love, love this place and my dogs love it too! Everyone is friendly, courteous and very helpful. I love the web cams so I can check on my pups when ever I want. What drew me to Camp Bow Wow at first was when I board my dogs they can all stay together and they get to play all day instead of only getting 30 min play times that other place do. You need to check it out. Come let your dogs play in the day care!

I have peace of mind when I go out of town knowing the girls are at Camp BowWow! I am able to check in on them via the cameras. And, my girls LOVE snuggle time!!

These people know and love dogs. My dog has so much fun and just loves to go back! She gets as much or more care, love and attention at Camp Bow Wow Kemah than she does at home. Love this place and the people!!

Daycare was a good value. And staff was awesome:)! They seemed to care about my dog. And good Customer Service. They had the most convenient location of all the Camp Bow Wows that I've taken my dog to for boarding & daycare.

Our Sadie had a blast when she was boarded for the weekend. I love that we could watch her play on the camper cams, and everyone there is so sweet! The flexibility of extended hours for drop off & pickup is so convenient. She played so hard, she slept all day when we got home!

They love Güero and treat him like a king, even when he is naughty.

Camp Bow Wow welcomed us with open arms and cheerful spirits! I was very anxious about leaving my beloved puppy in the care of new hands, but they surpassed my expectations and made my baby a very happy camper! Definitely will be returning for many more stays!

This was my first time using Camp Bow Wow for boarding. They blew me away! From beginning to end, they were thorough in their screening/approval process (for the safety of all involved), very helpful in explaining services and accommodating to schedule needs. They answered all questions I had and you can tell they care for the fur babies just as the owners do. I even received update pics on their "one on one" extra cuddle time which made my day. I felt completely at ease leaving my dogs in their care and highly recommend this facility!

I dropped off and picked up my cousin's dog and the front entry looks great but just through the door to the kennels it looks so sad and there are so many wining dogs. Their dog was exhausted and so thrilled to leave. Not very expensive and a needed service. The staff seemed nice. Could be so much more.

The convenience of times available. The size of the facility. The kennels are HUGE. We like that the dogs are separated by size and personality and can go inside and outside during the entire time the facility is open. The staff is amazing!!!

Great great great place for my puppy!!! I was hesitant of leaving my baby just because I guess you would think who’s gonna take care of your pup like you?you know. But omg they are all about the pets there. That n you the customer. I love this place because my baby loves this place!so I definitely recommend this place!......I tried writing another review just because of how much I love this place. The young ladies there are super sweet n the whole atmosphere there you can just tell caters to your loved ones n every time I go I just grow to liking them more n more!!! Also I just want to express my gratitude to everyone at camp bow wow!! I love y’all guys/gals!!

Our dog loves going to Camp Bow Wow! And I love that I found such a great/safe place to leave our baby while we’re out of town. The staff is very friendly and wonderful with the dogs, and I also love that we get to see him on camera. Of course he’s always happy to see us at pick up time.. but seems like he doesn’t want to leave the place!

The comfort I feel when I drop off the dogs and they are genuinely excited to go back just gives me such peace of mind. When my 2 pups board there, I know they are taken care of. I personally love the special days, like the end of summer pool party. The pictures are too cute! The staff is just amazing and everyone is so nice.

Super friendly staff, they put up with all of my questions and gave me feedback on my dog when I took him there for a long overnight stay (about 10 nights). Good staff, great pricing. I'll be purchasing the 20 day daycare pass soon.

We are new to the area and the staff here are fantastic. My puppy had never been to daycare and he warmed up immediately. He had so much fun. The staff was great with him. We will be back!
