This was an HORRIBLE experience. Terrible. I would NEVER go back. I write this for my sweet toy poodle Bunny. She went for grooming twice. The first time was okay. The second time, I found out after the fact, there was no air conditioning In the heat of the summer. She was there for 8 hours!! When I picked her up, it was beyond hot. The owner was unresponsive when I called and when I arrived you could hear yelling at dogs. The grooming was pitiful. NEVER EVER will I recommend this place.

Miss Joan is the best. She does a wonderful job on our little terrier mix. We also use the self service wash, and have been very pleased with the price and cleanliness. I would recommend highly.

I called THIRTY-FOUR different groomers to find someone that would let me stay right with my baby in case he got scared. This was the only place that said yes! Nathaniel did all the work on my Great Pyrenese and he was amazing! ❤️????

My boy Ziggy Marley ???? has gone here a few times and every time the amazing staff makes him look like a new pup! Love how patient they are and how gentle they handle the dogs. Even helpful to those doing self wash. Really appreciate their kindness and skills.

They do an amazing job! They listen to what you want for your dog and always execute it beautifully. They’re very easy to talk to and work with. Love them!

WORST Experience!! Our puppy was given a horrible haircut..he was cut on both sides of inner legs and groin. Dropped him off @ 9:30, he wasn’t ready till after 1pm. He came home without his collar and full of fleas. He was acting frightened. When I called to complain, owner said she needed pics to see and talk to groomer. I sent them and she wanted me to go back. She finally fessed up she was the groomer but that she didn’t remember cutting him! Needless to say we will not be going back.

If I could give them no stars I would. My pup received the worst grooming job I have ever seen. He was cut in four different places around his stomach and groin area. Also he came home full of fleas and his collar was missing.

I took my dog here for grooming the other day. The owner is extremely rude and seemed to be on her high horse about something. I couldn't wait to get out of this place. My card was not working properly (one of those chip issues if you use your card a lot), and the owner implied to use a card with money on it.

THE OWNER IS VERY VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. This was probably one of the WORST experiences I had and most HUMILIATING. My friend had just bought 3 puppies and we wanted to get them all clean and ready, so I recommended her this place for the self bath section because I had previously used it with my own dog. We go in with the puppies and ask how much it would be, one of the ladies told us $12 each, which sounded reasonable. However, her attitude was not friendly at all, she right away asked if they had fleas, obviously we responded No. My friend and I started giving them a bath and we were trying to figure out how to get colder water because it was coming out super hot, we asked and they didn't even bother to come out and show us; so okay we figured their customer service SUCKS. But we were on a mission and super excited about our puppies! We are in the middle of everything and the lady decides to tell us to wear our masks, at this point I didn't even realized we had forgotten our masks, to which we replied we didn't have them, but we were almost done. Just to clarify, there was NO ONE else in there, it was an honest mistake from our end, we decided to be quick and finish up. At the end my friend was looking for her wallet to pay and she finds her mask, so I tell her to wear it because "you are going up there to pay, I'll wait for you by the door." The Owner, this very mean lady, came out to charge her and got very mad because we were not wearing masks, my friend tried to explain that she had just found hers and that I was the one that didn't have one. the Owner got extremely rude, she told us that it was her business, that she requires the mask, she even started to yell at us, but we were just trying to pay and get out. And to be honest and fair they didn't tell us until we were in the middle of the bath and it's not like we are going to leave the puppies all wet. I was so so embarrassed that I even suggested that place to my friend. I don't usually write reviews, and I know how important they are for a business, specially small businesses. As a business owner myself, I can say I have never ever treated someone like they treated us. It was an honest mistake and she could've been more understanding, also there was no one around to put in harm. This was just plain rudeness. I don't know how people can take their dogs there and expect them to be treated nice. I am never giving them my business again. And I believe customers, if you care about your babies, please find a better place. If she is the owner and she treats her clients like this then I can't even imagine how she treats dogs.

As always, great service and my dog Manor'd always happy-go-lucky to see these wonderful ladies.

My review is in reference to my friend's bad review, were the owner replied about mandated masks. When we got into their store we were not wearing a mask, we did not see the sign but instead of her asking us for a mask she went ahead and gave us the pricing for bathing 3 puppies. Since they did not demand it from the beginning we did not know it was "mandatory". When we finalized with our service and went ahead to pay she demanded to wear a mask next time we come in. I clearly said I am sorry we didn't have one and we were already bathing the pups!! She started yelling at me in a rude way!! I never write reviews but in all honest the people working here have really bad customer service. It was an honest mistake and we apologized for it but she was super rude and unprofessional, we were about to leave and still she yelled at us on the street! VERY DISAPPOINTED ON HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS AND PUPS.

It is close to my house, I called and was able to bring my dog in for a wash and nail clip , all in about one hour and very reasonably priced . The staff is very friendly and professional. I have been there before and definitely will in the future.

We're new on San Antonio and we try to found some trusted place for care us baby and finally we found the right place. Very professional and passionate with what they do!! Great job!!

Charged me for a haircut but they only bathed my dog. No hair cut at all. Scammers. My dog was shaking when we went back and tried to correct it; overall bad feeling and would not recommend.

I have a 18 yr old dog and every time I take him to get groomed at other places, my dog came home scared. The day I take him to wash shake wag my dog just walked in like he was at home.. since then every time I take him he comes home prancing and happy he loves his groomer. It's good to know there is place that takes gentle care of older pets.

I was extremely disappointed with Wash Shake Wag. I had an appointment on a Tuesday at 1:00 pm. I called ahead of time since I was running early to see if I could bring my dog in any earlier. They said that was fine. I arrived around 12:45 pm. The groomer told me it would be 2-3 hours max. So I went to run errands and back home. It was around 3:30 pm, and I still hadn't heard anything from them, so I decided I would drive all the way down there. Mind you, I chose this place that was around ~20-25 minutes away due to their reviews. Anyway, I showed up around 3:45 pm, and I asked about my dog's progress and when they estimated that she would be done. The groomers looked confused and had a hard time trying to decide what dog was mine. I had to physically step back where I saw my dog hadn't even been touched yet and had just spent over 3 hours in a crate. Never will I even attempt to give this place my business again. I would expect better communication if they were running that behind. I would have also appreciated to not have been offered an appointment. They are unorganized and over booked. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

First time customer! We recently moved to San Antonio and were in search for a self serve dog wash, happy to say we found a gem! There are three self serve stations. They offer grooming services. Staff was very friendly and explained to us where everything was. Great tools to get your dog cleaned. Atmosphere was very calm and peaceful. Which is perfect if you have an anxious dog. We paid $18 for a 50lbs Aussie Mix self wash service. Not bad at all. Definitely reccomend and we will be back!

I was hardly given a second glance when I walked in, I had never been to this location and wasn't sure how they wanted me to do things. They were not welcoming and the "high velocity blow dryers" were about has "high velocity" as a three star hotels hair dryer. Plus they have you clean up after yourselves, which seems like a weird complaint but every self service dog wash I've been to they do the cleaning for you, which is why the price is what it is. Not worth my money and sorry to say I won't be going back.

ive only taken my dog here once but he loved it and we will be returning very soon! i have a 6 year old pitbull mix and the staff were very attentive and treated him so wonderfully. hes very nervous and anxious and i told them to please handle him with care and they did exactly that! plus the service was super quick! i dropped him off in the morning and an hour later i got a text saying that he was ready to be picked up! he was bathed, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and they even gave him a super cute bandana!!
