Mackenzie was such an amazing technician. She was informative and patient with our crazy hyper dogs. Very sweet and professional. I felt comfortable leaving my dogs under her care and I appreciate her attention to my doggies. Thank you MacKenzie!!!

Checkin is straightforward and great instructions! Our Tech Mackenzie was awesome!!! I brought two dogs and she was so patient and loving with them even though the husky jumped on her and almost bit her, she handled everything so kindly!! I was very impressed with the service and will definitely come again!!

I’ve been bringing my cat wero since I adopted him. The staff has been very welcoming with wero and have taken the time to get to know him to ensure he has a pleasant visit. They truly want the best for your pet as well. The staff has been quick to address any concerns I have. They also have been very reliable, the thrive staff has fit me in their schedule despite me coming unexpectedly in a busy day. I highly recommend their services. However I have not had a good experience booking an appointment online. I suggest you call to set up an appointment instead. The staff at the bandera location in San Antonio want your pet to thrive and they make it so affordable and easy. Thanks Thrive. Side note: They are a clinic not a hospital. If you have an emergency don’t show up they probably won’t take you in as they go by appointments. This place is not a hospital.

Dr. Lana Bush and her team were great today as usual. Dr. Bush followed up with a call from another previous when Carlo had pneumonia. She recommended we come in for Xrays when Carlo was coughing a lot after we just adopted him from ACS. We thought it was just kennel cough, but the doctor's concern and follow-up saved this pups life. Xrays revealed lungs full of fluids. Today, Carlo is very healthy and full of life and well cared for by our veterinarians and staff at Thrive in the Petco near Bandera & 1604. We travel 30 minutes away from home to get the best care for our baby.

THRIVE was very welcoming for our visit. On time and very quick. My dog was very content and got her puppy checkup done! The staff was very informative about the different memberships, vaccinations, and any questions I had in regards to my pet. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner.

We couldn't be happier with the folks at Thrive. We were at a private vet, and we got pretty generic treatment. After switching to thrive we have gotten nothing but excellent treatment and great custo.er service, they even call us and text us several times. DR. Peter's is great she really cares, and the office staff is soo very helpful and kind. We have four Schnauzers and they don't ever resist going. I was very worried about my cat. This was the first time she was sick and the staff went above and beyond, answering all my questions, making sure I understood, and was very committed in giving my fur baby good care.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating, but I would only bring my pets here for very basic things. One of my cats was bleeding from the gums and she got antibiotics twice. After three appointments and no sign of improvement I took her to a more expensive vet with better reviews and turns out she had rotting teeth which THRIVE staff was unable to identify and diagnosed her incorrectly with an infection. They're good for vaccines and standard exams though.

They are our defacto vet. They are generally pretty responsive and quick. Visits are smooth and doctors are great

Did not use their services. They refused to provide anytime of range of potential cost to have my pet fixed. Required me to pay $40 exam prior to sharing their base rate for the surgery.

I made a same day appointment with Thrive and they had one available! It was very fast and efficient, probably the fastest vet appointment I have had. Makenzie was a great tech and handled Mae so well, such a good experience!

I’ve taken several of my pets here for routine stuff. This is not the place to take your pet if they suddenly become ill. I tried to take my cat in today to get her eye checked due to an unknown injury. It took several minutes for me to get greeted with two people at the front desk and no one in front of me. I was frowned upon for not having an appointment. I didn’t plan on my cat’s eye getting injured. The person I spoke with was dry and lacked compassion. I probably won’t be returning.

We took our three dogs here for awhile. But after covid they begin enforcing all online schedules and no walk-ins which is very cold. I tried to take my dog in for some antibiotics because he got bit in the face near his eye and but they refused to see him and pointed me to emergency care hospitals that normally take 24 hours to see your pet and cost 3x as much. So much for taking all three of my dogs here. Animal West Bird hospital down the road is a bit more caring and professional and seems to get us in faster than this corporate chain. For basics, this place is okay but when you really need their help this is not the place to have a relationship because they just parrot corporate policy instead of being human.

Terrible vet. We brought our sick dog in talked to the vet which was very nice. She convinced us to get bloodwork done and they would call us the next day with the results. Got a quick call saying they were in but the vet would call us Friday. Thursday night into Friday Skyler our dog took a turn for the worse. I tried calling multiple times and could not get past the receptionist. I asked to talk to the vet as my wife and I were talking about doing the peaceful thing and putting her to sleep. Was told that the soonest I could get in would be on the 8th which was 8 days from the day. We ultimately did put Skyler down later that morning. Got a phone call from the vet this afternoon with the results. Little to late.. terrible customer service.. should be ashamed. Debating about contacting my CC to get my money back got the bloodwork.

Mac was the best making Lola and I know we were in the best hands.I had a great talk with her about Lola and her upcoming surgery. I hope all thrives have their McKenzie and get the same quality of understanding and care as we did.

Mac always is so sweet and personable when we come in and we can tell she cares so much and makes our dog dodger feel at ease in her company!!!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences going in with my kitten, Ash. Ash was a little shook after first visit but second visit was much more comfortable and handled better. Super fast service and easy to fill out mobile forms. Not busy at all. Front desk, vet techs and vet are awesome and friendly. Pretty inexpensive for new patient wellness, vaccines, dewormer etc. Nice monthly plan as well. Courtesy reminder texts and easy confirmation. Decent location. Definitely recommend this place for your fur babies!
