I took my 5 year old pug for a follow up because she was clearly pregnant. Took her dec 17th at 3:30pm which they suggested to wait another week to do X-rays and sono because she looked not far enough. They gave the ok that she looked good and sadly passed away at 6:30pm SAME DAY!!! She clearly was not looking well, we expressed our concerns and nothing further was suggested. I don’t know about dogs, vets do, they should’ve made the choice to check on her pregnancy more throughly. Now my best friend is gone, I’m devastated. I lost my girl who could’ve been saved same day at the vet.

Came in on a budget with a senior cat to see my options on which testing that i could afford. Nurse was very sweet an insisted the doctor was good with budgets and could help me find the best route to go. As soon as the doctor came in i felt rushed and like the appointment was just over. Feels to me like you were upset you werent gonna be able to get that full expensive price out of me. Rude. Doesnt seem like you care about the animals just the money. I just moved here but i will be choosing to go with the other vet down Fredericksburg.

I had to bring in my small Chihuahua to be euthanized and the procedure was very abrupt. No compassionate care whatsoever regarding my tiny pet from the male veterinarian doctor. If I had known the whole euthanasia procedure was going to be like it was, I would have gone somewhere else.

They don’t respect the hours or appointments even if you call and they tell you to bring your pet.????????????

This place used to be so good I don't what happened but the customer service is getting worse you have definitely lost a reliable customer and his animals. I hope you teach everyone about the basic concept of kindness and professionalism.

Don’t take walk ins always busy. No vet is there early when they open. Not very Accommodating

I have lots of reason to believe this clinic didn’t thoroughly examen my dog Bella . I took Bella in because I thought she was pregnant. I needed a check up and vaccinations , and I asked them to check if she was pregnant, the vet tech told me (after I had to remind him that I had asked ) that she wasn’t pregnant (showed no signs). After 1 week she started leaking milk and went into labor , long story short the puppy sadly didn’t make it . I had trusted the vet and vet tech and when I called the clinic (after my dog showed symptoms of labor) the tech just recommended emergency treatment. No apology for the wrongful examination / didn’t even acknowledge it.

We took our dog for the first time to tvh and were impressed with the high quality of the work and customer service they went over everything and the prices before hand they were affordable and most of all our baby loved them ❤

We are new to TVH, but we came here because my daughter used to bring her dog Jayme here and gave them high praises. None of our dogs in the past would go into a vet's office willingly, but our dog Morris loves coming here! We boarded Morris here for a week and I was worried because he'd never been boarded before and it was going to be for such a long time. He must have had a great week because now whenever we pull into the parking lot, he's so happy he can hardly contain himself lol. He's being treated now for things that have required return visits and ask I have to say is, "Let's go to the vet" and my 60 lb dog is dragging me to the truck! Dr Stribley and the staff are amazing caretakers of our beloved, and we won't go anywhere else. Thank you Texas Veterinary Hospital ????

They open pretty early in the morning so that was nice, cause we had an early morning situation with my dog Lola. I was able to get her in the same day. Which is awesome. If your a 1st time client the office fee is waived. And they do accept CareCredit Cards (life savers). Large parking lot in case it gets busy. You have to call the office to check in, and stay in your car, obviously due to Covid measures. Wasnt expecting that, but rather safe than sorry. Overall our visit was great. The staff seemed friendly and the vet tech raved about how sweet my girl was ( I am biased and of course think mine is the sweetest ) so I appreciated that. Cost was about what I was anticipating. So I'm glad it didn't seem like there was any overcharge. I did forget to ask if they take military discount but I'll ask next time I see them.

Welcoming, efficient front desk staff, caring vet, no pressure for expensive testing, and very reasonable (with free first exam: $37 for an injury evaluation, a nail trim, and a rabies vaccine). Very happy to have found them.

Excellent customer service, going as fast as they possibly can. Great communication.

This vet office is amazing. I live 15 mikes away but this is the only bet my girl can go to. They are very accommodating to her needs and very hands on and loving with her. Only get my Frankie will go to.

I was devastated to pick up a young feral cat from spay surgery and find out she was a nursing mama, and I was not informed about it before surgery. Texas Veterinary Hospital said cat must have pre-surgical exam the day before surgery, they would keep her overnight, and do surgery the following day. I suspected cat may be pregnant but wasn't sure. I picked her up after surgery and was then informed the cat already had babies and was still lactating. I am sick to my stomach they didn't notice this during the pre-surgical exam and contact me to let me know so I could postpone the surgery. If I am interested in saving one feral cat, I am surely interested in saving her babies too. As it is now, I can't let mama cat outside because she just had surgery. Meanwhile, a litter of nursing kittens has probably just died due to lack of milk/food and in the sweltering heat. All this happened after waiting in my car the day before surgery for OVER AN HOUR after my appointment time just to drop off the terrified poor cat. They have only curbside service so I had to sit in my car (running and AC on since it was 98 degrees) for over an hour just to be seen and cat taken in. After paperwork and almost $600 payment, I had been there for an hour and a half in an idling car. I have had success with this clinic on and off over the years but there is no way I can go back after this. Mama cat is fine and I am walking my alleyway and asking neighbors to check their backyards but it is probably too late to save the babies.

They have always taken great care of my animals. Been going here for over 10 years. The doctors are knowledgeable and all the staff very caring. Their prices are very reasonable.

We truly enjoyed our service their. We had taken our dog to be treated and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Very professional as well.????

Arrived for my 11:30 appt & called to let them know I was there, however waited almost until 1 o’clock... calling them multiple times in between to let them know I was still waiting, each time they said I would be next. Eventually they told They had to emergencies come in, OK I understand. Still waiting. Then they came out and asked if I could just reschedule. I told them listen if you would’ve told me an hour ago that I would’ve need to reschedule on behalf of the emergencies, I would’ve completely understood. Instead I took time off of work, and waited in my car with my three dogs for almost an hour witch no communication from y’all other than when I called you to let you know I was still waiting. Additionally called right after I left to speak to the manager, she said she had no idea that I had been waiting, even though the people who kept letting me know I was next said that she was aware. And all she could say was sorry & ask for me to reschedule. Had an appointment with my cat for tomorrow, will not be returning. Emergencies take precedent over regular appts, I completely understand and agree, but there is no excuse for bad communication and bad customer service.

I recommend this Veteran Hospital! Friendly and clean. I wound not go anywhere else after my experience, I’ve been to 3 before I found this one. They’re not trying to get you for your money for every little thing. They treat your pet like he/she’s part of they’re family ❤️ Thank you Texas Verterinary hospital ????
